I want to try one of these type of kits but it always feels like I already need to know how to build a boat from scratch to be able to even attempt one of these kits.
It is not necessary. If you follow our step by step you will achieve build any model that you want. It is easier than you think. Regards.

Hola, se agradecen mucho estos vídeos. Me gustaría que se centrará en más en los detalles, como se remata la quilla, porque se usa cuando y no cola vinílica y esas cosas, se agradecen las explicaciones que aclaren las posibles dudas que me surgen al que se inicia y no puede resolver con los manuales.

@@artesanialatina1970 I agree on this. Very nice video. Question I have is which glue and sanding paper you use? Because it looks like the wood is stuck in a very short time. A strungling to keep it together during hours before the glue is harding.
@@thechairtube In this video it is used CA glue (cyanoacrylate glue) for fast and strong bond.
@@thechairtube hi! We usually use instant glue for faster and easier working. Instant glue can be found in the market in different thicknesses; thick, dense instant glue is perfect to work with wood and other porous materials and it makes almost instant joints when used with the activator spray. Cómo hacen para ubicar la altura del primer liston?

Es una muy buena pregunta. Pues suele usarse como referencia para colocar el primer listón alguna otra pieza ya colocada en el barco, para colocar este primer listón paralelo a dicha pieza. En el caso de este vídeo se coloca paralelo al canto superior de uno de los refuerzos interiores del casco, en otras ocasiones se usa el canto de la cubierta central. ¡Saludos!
Hello Artesania! I have a question for you.
I bought the model ship San Francisco II in second hand. It was made till the first strip on the hull.
One of the frames of the skeleton is not properly placed. What do you recommend to remove the white glue ?
I've seen some people using vinager but i'm not sure.
