  • 👉 Learn how to multiply radicals. A radical is an expression or a number under the root symbol. To multiply radicals with the same root, it is usually easy to evaluate the product by multiplying the numbers or expressions inside the roots retaining the same root, and then simplify the result.
To multiply radicals of different roots. It is usually easier to simplify the radicals first or transform the radicals into exponent form before multiplying them.

he is a good teacher the reason why you can't comprehend what the professors tell you is because they use too much terminology to explain even the basic stuff and plus when you don't understand the basics of math which are taught in high school you get a cocktail of confusion

try it sqrt(4) +sqrt(9) =/ sqrt(13) if you simplify you see that sqrt(4)+sqrt(9)=2+3=5 =/ sqrt(13) try it with multiplication/division and you see it works, not addition/subtraction

The radical 9 turned to 3 when it got down because the square root of 9 is 3. Square roots are the outcomes of a number when you multiply them to themselves. For example, like this one, 3x3 = 9, therefore 3 is the square root of 9. One more example is square root of 16, is 4, because 4x4 = 16.
