    I go to Purdue University and am taking a math course online. Every week, my professor puts your videos as required media for us to use along with our textbook. There are no lectures provided by the university or professor. I wish I could have given YOU the thousands of dollars I'm paying for my course instead.

      Same here. I hate online math courses cause the teachers don’t do their jobs and leave it to the books, YT videos, and online learning. I feel like I’m not learning anything, it’s so frustrating! It’s such a rip off!

      He's multiplying the radical values with each other, and simplifying them. When working with radicals, you have to break down the value in the radical and see if you can find the square root of one of those values. That root can be placed outside of the radical sign and multiplied with it. Similarly, to put a multiplied number into a square root radical, you have to square it and multiply it with the existing number inside the radical.

      what dont you get? its just factoring out x^2+6x+9. you need 2 of something to take it out of the radical right? just like if 9 was in a radical or (3)(3) it would be 3. you have the same expression twice- (x+3)(x+3) in a radical = x+3

    Please answer this. Im so confuse. The questions on my assignments seems to be different. Our topic is multipliying radicals but what our teacher taught is really different. When i try to do your method, the answer given by our teacher from his example is wrong. ^3√54x^5 multiply by ^3√48x^4.. I keep on trying to answer this on my own from the way you teach. But the answer was still not the same from our teacher. I dont get it. Please help me.

    • @Deadshotsabot
      @Deadshotsabot 2 роки тому

      Most times teachers only want the positive answer, yes sqrt of 25 is technically-5&5 but most teachers say to only put the positive unless it is asking for both. If the question is Xsquared = 25, what is X? Then you want to put both -5 & 5. That’s what I’m assuming and it works better here to put positive

    • @DavielCruzPersonal
      @DavielCruzPersonal 5 років тому +2

      It's a cubed root, so he is looking for groups of 3. x^13 can have 4 groups of 3 taken out of it with 1 x remaining. y^10 can have 3 groups of it taken out of it with q remaining. A good tactic to use would be to just subtract. For example: you want to get how many groups of 3 in x^13 (like in the video above) so you subtract 3, you get 10, subtract 3 again, you get 7, subtract again, you get 4, subtract again, you get 1. You can't get 3 from 1, so the amount of times you subtracted is the exponent you put on the variable once you take it out of the radical (square root)
