Jodie decides to go to a bar to meet friends from school without permission. It doesn't go well. From the chapter, Like Other Girls. Beyond Two Souls The Bar Fight Scene
I find it amazing how stupid that guard is. She's over here stuttering and sluring her words while also giving 3 conflicting stories about why Cole can't speak yet she still passed just fine.
I also think that when you go to the bar you don’t need to play pool right? Sorry I don’t have a ps3 or xbox or whatever all I have is a iPad 2 or 1 idk.
Even though it would be traumatic and these are simply NPC’s I think staying would be good, because hey, these guys could’ve been abusing others, or have done way worse things with/without consequence. Despite the PTSD coming along with it for Jodie, I think it would be somewhat beneficial if she stayed at the bar and killed those dudes. Poor bartender though.
So, if this bar is the place those friends of hers told her to meet, and if they never show up no matter how long you wait, it seems like these girls aren't really her friends.
@@rittis013 she's definitely the "weird kid" of the class so I honestly thought that was the case too. Probably why Nathan didn't want her going out, she'd end up alone in a place full of adults and would've wasted her time.
I'm glad I managed to play this scene 1st time round - would have hated to iss out a whole section of the game lol P.S Helpful Hint - Getting in the boot/trunk of the car avoids the whole hassle at the front gate with the guard.
Jodie: "Please... Come on cole, please? Please let me out, just this once?... Why do you have to tell Nathan EVERYTHING?" [Speech %1] or [25/75] Cole: [FAILED] I'm sorry princess. I can't. It's not my call.
I might be a bit late on this, but how did you succed on this first shoot in 16:14? No guide comment on this, and most of the gameplays I have watched just fail this part.
Considering how the voice actor and the character at the bar are related to Todd I’m assuming DBH takes place where Jodie left the bar or never even went. If she ever had kids in the future (I haven’t got to the complete ending, but she might have kids...who knows) then surely, if this continues, there’s at least one person in the DBH universe who has something similar to Aiden. Unless these powers aren’t passed down by genetics.
19:52 so this is the reason why Earl is having a personal grudge against the player for scaring him or shooting him back at the bar before Detroit: Become Human and abusing his daughter Alice Williams and android Kara. In Navajo, even now though I found out that Paul is a soft-spoken and warm father (sounds like Earl in Like Other Girls) but I'll still help anyone who has problems of their own in the video game. Me: Even now though, I was a self-centered and hot-tempered teenage gamer that everyone hated it but I'm still a fine young man.

If you wait long enough they will escape which I think is the better choice (because then your not actually killing them just punishing them for being assholes)
This is simply not true. I'm playing this game now and I'm liking it so far. It's free for PSN Plus members as I'm writing this. Just passed the Navajo part. But this is crap. It seems as if every stranger male Jodie meets is a potential raper. The creepy guy who asks her for a "favor" in the Homeless chapter and now these men. I've been to bars and I've seen young hot girls coming for a drink and yes, men might make sexual comments among them and they definitely think about having sex with her. But that's one thing. To be determined to actually rape her, that's a whole different story. Besides, here it seems that ALL three men were willing to rape her. I can't help but wonder, and then what? Make an eternal silence pact? Leave Jodie on the streets? Or just beat her to death? What about the police? Or their families? These men may have some wife and kids somewhere. Are you telling me they were all willing to lose everything just because they couldn't resist their apparently innate sadistic desires to see a young girl suffer and go through hell? Did it ever cross their minds the fact that the girl most likely has her own family and friends? Anyway, like I said, I like the game and the story. But this "rape culture" thing is pure bullshit.
Don't think it was a rape culture thing i think it was just something for the story, i agree with you on its weird they'd try and risk anything cause of they sick desires though.
I agree it isn't a rape culture thing, simply because there IS no such thing. But we are constantly being led to believe there is. Scenes like this one help spread the lie. I like the game, said it once and will say it again. But I pay attention to details and it appears that, except for those Navajo guys, there are no honest, decent, family men in Beyond. All are either rapists, liars, manipulative, dishonest and so on.
i don't remember much from the game but i remember that actually i think the creator of the game has a rape fetish or something so honestly it might be that.
I find it amazing how stupid that guard is.
She's over here stuttering and sluring her words while also giving 3 conflicting stories about why Cole can't speak yet she still passed just fine.
I think the funniest part is how he falls for the dumbest sounding story possible, but doesn't get tricked by the somewhat reasonable ones.

As far as I'm concerned, aiden got rid of a bunch of worthless sacks of garbage. I was glad to take revenge on them for trying to hurt Jodie

Yep ik that staying in the bar will cause Jodie to get traumatized, but those assholes deserved it especially Earl.

Rocky The Puppy

Actually it’s the same guy who played as that abusive Dad. So in a way, you’re right!
Yea, he looked too familiar.
Youssef A. He did tbh.
Did anyone else remember Heavy Rain and hesitated to drink to lemonade?
Wow Todd came back to life and bought two androids
Marcela Oliveira they do look quite similar.
Rocky The Puppy they literally have the same face, the producers must have reused his face

Good thing I chose to leave the bar and not play pool or anything.
