- The Life Ending to Beyond: Two Souls. Obviously parts of it change depending on some of your actions. Like saving Cole and such. I also decided to choose Jay, just because I thought him and his brother were the best characters.

The thing I hated most about this game was the fact that your basically forced into a relationship with Ryan, that's why I ended my life.
That's because you are not Jodie, it annoys you like it annoyed Aiden. I always did everything I could to keep him away from her because I didn't like him but in the end I let Jodie happy and I loved my ending
I like to call him Mr. Molester as at the end of dragons hideout when he thinks jodie is dead he kisses her without consent, it wasn't the mouth to mouth it was a kiss and he didn't know if she was alive or not and he is bad man

The life ending seems to be quite a bit better than the beyond ending. However, the idea that there could be a sequel is terrifying...

On the one hand, it'd be set in a cool Terminator future. On the other hand, it'd be a David Cage game, so fuck that.

Same I cried as soon as I noticed Aiden was gone, you cant even see or hear him much in the game, but you felt that connection. This game is very underrated for what it is, it deserves a sequel

I would've picked the Zoey ending if it meant Aiden could come back like the other endings. I was stuck between Jay and Alone endings because let's face it Ryan is pretty manipulative. Took you from your lab, you were happy there. Lied to you about a target and overall when he forced you on the run you were pretty fucking miserable. Jay is at least fair, secrets for secrets and even if you choose not to save Paul he'll say it wasn't your fault. Alone though, it just feels like it might be for the best.
He is there as a ghost watching over her, but not as a soul. You can understand it better if you watch the beyond ending

Would you guys say that this would be considered a good ending, with the future vision being fulfilled, Cole surviving, and Aiden being still with her?
I was curious if there are characters in the game who pronounce Aiden's name (Ay-den) and Jodie is the only one who pronounces it (Eye-den), the reason I say that is because, in the game Detroit Become Human, one of the robot's name is Kara which Alice who apparently is a robot herself pronounces it (Car-Uh) and other people pronounce it (Care-uh). I didn't know if that was the same scenario for Beyond: Two Souls.
The pronunciation "'eidᵊn" (eye-den) rather comes from the gaelic way of speaking the name Aiden than the british/anglo-american "'aidᵊn". Even Jodie mispronounces Aiden's name in the chapter DRAGON'S HIDEOUT.
I guess this is just based on that for Movie/TV they usually shoot about 3 pages (~minutes) of script per day while for Quantic Dream's games they shoot 20 pages of script per day. They also shoot the same scene with their different outcomes in order. I imagine that that can be somewhat exhausting even for an eyperienced actor.
One of the best games I feel I've ever experienced.
Edit: Reading the comments I wonder why so many disliked this game so much. As far as I can see, most just don't like it because it appears they simply don't care for how the game progressed and it's plot devices. The story is excellent, well directed with a remarkable but unusual story.
Maybe just me, but it seems like most who played (or watched) this game weren't really ready for that kind of story. Call me cynical but I don't think they were ready for a story they couldn't comprehend.

SlamifiedBuddafied Sorry, I just didn't like the story as much as I liked Heavy Rain's. It feels poorly paced, very cliché and heavy on the use of plot conveniences. If you haven't played Heavy Rain, I recommend you doing so.
lleon79 Fair enough, to each his own friend. I will admit to the various cliche bits and pieces which littered the story, but I can overlook that if the cliche is well played and interesting, which I feel that was more or less achieved here.
As for Heavy Rain, I have that sitting on the shelf and is on my queue of games to play soon. I'm very much looking forward to it, as I've heard almost nothing but good things!

I genuinely do not understand the negativity that surrounds this, I really do think that this is the best game of 2013 and possibly one the best games I have ever played. Anyone who does not like it I will never ever understand your logic
People don't like it because its a bad game.one example: remember when David cage said there are no game overs in beyond? well there isn't, and that means there is no way to truly fail this game, therefore, no danger or tension in this "Dangerous and Tense Narrative". not to mention the unclear "action" scene prompts, sometimes barely visible interaction prompts and overly repetitive aiden prompts.
To be honest, I completely understand that. That being said, this isn't exactly a "game" in the traditional sense as it is "Interactive cinema" meaning it is basically a film using the technology of a game that imposes the idea of choices to complete the story. To say it is a bad game isn't necessarily wrong, because it is not really a game.

Came here cause igor's lair picked beyond so i wanted see how life choice was going play out tbh they both kinda got perks of they own i don't know which I'd pick when i start playing tonight guess I'll get a feel of which when i play and see which characters i take a liking to and ones i don't and from some of the choices i make cause I'm not gonna totally play it like igor cause i want my own feel and ending pick so I'm going go start playing ten minutes after i post this gonna start playing hell blade after i get tired of dying in this game if it play out like that cause i can not rage out again and have to get another ps5 controller and patch another hole up in my wall from throwing it at it lmfao and that comes from the 2k anger that ish and new resident Evil make me rage out man and i refuse to put it on easy or anything lower than the hardest setting I'll play on easy second time around and collect stuff i missed or places i didn't go from just doing the game storyline i do that to every game tho but hell blade don't look like one of those come back later games more like sky rim it seems

I hated the fact they forced the player to be with Ryan because Jay ending wasn't that good and being alone looked depressing and the only decent ending was being with Zoey and seeing the future with her and Jodie since Ryan was a jerk in most of the story I didn't care that i didnt choose him so the game was ok itself but they did ruin the ending though for life instead of beyond

I came here from BFP and this "game" is trash tbh this is only decision thay actually matters in the game heavy rain had more choices. There is barely any control in gameplay or choices in this game so I guess it has to atleast have a good story like telltale or ace attorney but nope its a jumbled mess, full of plotholes, filler, and nonsense logic. There are cool moments but you cant just judge the game based of those. And to people verily defending this game why dont you play something like metal geat solid 4 for a good atory which I point out this game rips off?
