i am having issues getting the shell off. i think whoever lived here before put it on wrong, I was able to get it to finally unscrew halfway but the last bit is stuck. any advice? also great video

Thanks for the video. I got the cover loosen up by banging it with a rubber base of the plier around the edge of the cover with one hand while pushing and turning with the other hand. I think the vibrations loosens it up a bit, so I was able to unscrew it. It took me about 15 minutes to loosens it up with vibrations. I hope this will help other people who's having the same problem. God bless!

The bulb I removed was labeled: JDE 11, 120V 100W. It is a frosted Halogen bulb.
