yes I am 32 and have chronic back pain I have been dealing with it for 10, 15 years and I'm in pain every day and I have never been able to find a chair I am a gamer but I usually sit all day
Nathan Hamberg highly recommend this chair it’s great quality and the head pillow is amazing (I usually hate head pillows but it’s memory foam and doesn’t push your head forward). The lumbar support is ok but I usually don’t use lumbar so it’s ok. You can recline very far, lock the recline, raise/lower, etc. The arm rests also go in/out and up/down forward/back AND my favorite part you can twist them so the point in or out /\ or \/ which is nice for gaming for me personally
@@BoardProgression thanks yea I'm looking into getting one but before secretlab titan xl 2020 none of the chairs where built for my weight im a big guy so I was worried I about getting an omega chair because of the weight limit

Just my comment on this chair -- got it a month ago after watching this review. The thing to remember is that chairs are pretty unique to people I think, because for me it's extremely uncomfortable; in particular, because the seating is very firm and the outer edge is raised, it pushes up against my knees/lower thigh and blocks blood flow to my lower legs which causes pain after a while and I suspect is actually really unhealthy. Now I guess i can't fault Secret Lab for not making a perfectly universal chair, but the thing to keep in mind here is that unlike buying from a store I have no options to return this chair. So I just spent like $500 and I can't even use this thing... and can't return it. Will try to sell it maybe it will be comfortable for someone else. From this experience though, I would not recommend buying this chair at all.
Sooo I can return it but have to pay 15% restocking plus shipping. Now after going back and forth a bit they waived the restocking so I just have to pay $100 shipping plus I have to package it. Its not terrible but not ideal, I do appreciate them working with me to figure it out. Buying in store would be easier.
@@Ken-bz7kj Sucks man! It's so annoying... I'm just packing mine up to send it back now... sucks because it will cost me $75 to send it back. I've been agonizing over the last couple of weeks about this, honestly overall the chair is fine but geeze this leg pain I just can't stand and it's not getting better or going away. When I sit in other chairs, immediately it feels better. So annoying... so so annoying. It kinda feels good to hear someone else is having this issue and I'm not crazy hah, but it sucks either way.
Szymon Kiedyk good for you bro. Send it back. For me, I’m stucked with it because I did hope that the cushions will soften overtime so i gave it some time, but I was wrong. It’s still rock solid after a almost a year. It’s not helping my posture at all 😰. Currently looking for alternative chairs.
Hey Jason, I read your Twitter comments before I watched this video. I don’t see anything in this video that means you should add a comment to defend yourself against being called dishonest. For me, you said in the video you were sent the chair. You also stated nearer the end, that you have been using the chair for a month, ergo, thats plenty long enough to give a qualified and honest review of how you find ‘said chair’. I would be sceptical of the review value, had you literally just gotten it, used it for a few hours, then made this video about how good it is, BUT you didn’t. This is a months worth of use and that makes for an honest review imho. Thx. 😃
Thanks for your review! I had back pain from my previous chair. Got the Secretlab Titan black suede and not only did it fix my back problems but it's legit the most comfortable chair I've ever used for extensive use.
@@Mystninja My Secretlab Titan not only solved world peace, but it also upgraded my wife, children and house and made me immortal due to its disease-healing properties. I can now live for 1000's years playing Overwatch in my Secretlab chair. Thanks Secretlab!
I'm almost 30 years old and have sat on an IKEA Markus desk chair for about 13-14 years or so now, mostly working in retail or outdoors or driving, however now in an office I got a great chair and I feel how I've been sitting too high for over a decade. I was also born with hip dysplacia leaving me with creaky and cracking joints, often aching and very prone to muscle inflammations and regular colds as a consequence. I'm ordering the Titan chair this week and I swear to all which is holy, this chair better live up to all its praise cos I've been saving and I really need this to be as good as reviews has it.
I just got mine and it is comfortable for me. Whether you are sitting to do work or leaning it back to relax, i can always find a good chair position. Its definitely more firm then something people may be used to for a desk chair but is exactly the same density as my car seat which I'm used to and am comfortable with
@@bubero7397 Nope no issues. I've got 2020 napa one and the only thing that's happened is that i've left a permanent butt print in the leather. Apart from that it's held up well and works perfectly.
I bought my son the Titan Dark Knight last year, he loves the comfort! I just ordered my second chair last night, super excited. Best two chairs I’ve ever owned.
For everyone who doesn't like this guy because he got it for free, i've had the omega for about 8 months now and the only thing bad is it's a little small for me. The firmness is surprisingly comfortable and I can only recommend it to just about everyone. I ordered the Titan and it's going to arrive in a couple of days, i'll come edit this if i remember to give a review on it.
You should watch more reviews many people who have bought the chair without getting it for free have had the same experience they always say how it’s worth the price tag
Warwid Honestly, I have no clue what people are talking about when it comes to “Sitting on rocks” I find it really comfortable, you dont sink into it and its not super plush but its because it gives your body the support it needs, if you get a super squishy chair sure it might be softer but after a while it starts to feel like youre sitting on a board and your back starts to ache. Ive had a lot of gaming chairs and this is by far the best one ive ever owned and recommend it fully to anyone looking to invest into it. Another thing is the foam they use in Secretlab chairs is a material (Cold cured foam) thats built to last and not break down over time, most chairs on the market use the typical plain old foam that ends up breaking down and disintegrating into dust leaving you with a sad excuse of a chair. If you have a little extra money, Secretlabs is definitely worth the investment.
Never trust a reviewer who received a free product in exchange for their 'honest opinion'... These guys care more about building relationships with these companies than they do the content of one video... If you received a product of value - for free - you were compensated.
Well from someone who hasn’t got one for free I can 110% safely say that the Titan Softweave is the most comfortable chair I’ve ever owned and I dont have a single complaint whatsoever. Whereas other chairs I’ve owned like the poorly built racing style gaming chairs (Dxracer especially) I had nothing but a negative and overall bad experience. If you want a chair thats worth the money and will last you years upon years of use and comfort, invest into Secretlabs.
omg - just because he gave a good review for a free product doesn't mean it's bias. Companies need people to review and test things out. People seem too ready to trust in the bad than the good. Look for yourself and do the research. I bought mine and cant wait for it to arrive.
@@stevieg6418 In this capacity, it is the very definition of bias. Journalists have debated and settled this topic decades ago - it is unequivocal. Just because the masses now prefer UA-cam doesn't mean the ethical grounds of objectivity have been transformed. Your approval is not presumed, or necessary.
@@project.jericho The same could be said for your original comment but then it will be like playground cat calling. What you fail to realise is that anyone can qualify what a person says - they are not beholden to one review so you can circle back, do your own research and then compare etc to the countless reviews the internet provides and first hand accounts given by many people that are, in fact commenting on this very video. To assume is to make and ass of you and me.
So this was my first expensive chair. I have the Batman Dark knight edition and lets just be honest. The Pros, bragging rights you have a secret lab chair. The Batman design. The head cushion. The size and the shape. The Cons it has wheels but hardly rolls. more times than not do I go to push out and my feet slip and jam my toes into desk etc. Every time I stand up real quick my chair begins rotating and when I sit back down its on the arm rest and its not my floor. The arm rest are wobbly, noisy and don't even line up. worse on my room mates. My left armrest cover is cracking along the side from my elbow weight, I'm only 165lbs. The seat cushion is so hard you cant sit in it for more a few hours we both had to buy an additional cushion to sit all day (covid) and my newest tragedy my lumbar popped and gave out. that was the most important feature. I haven't even owned this chair a year. I also have not yet contacted them about warranty. I'm sure that's gonna be fun. For now ill buy a lumbar pillow. So I don't think this chair is worth every penny. its way over priced. like a Harley your paying for the brand name. I've sat and slept in a lot of chairs. I'm sure people that actually used this chair will agree. the ones that disagree are either promoting it affiliated or have turned a blind eye because they want to go on believing they have one of the best brand chairs money can buy. lol sorry and no.
People have been asking about your chair, or SecretLab have asked you to do a paid promotion? You gotta make that money, it's fine, just be honest about it. Trust me, people can tell the difference between a paid promotion and promoting because you like it.
@@thejasontlewis Well said. My buddy runs a channel and constantly gets accused of being "paid" anytime he talks about a product positively. It's just the way the internet is these days. Everyone has an opinion, but few have a clue. And I have watched several videos of yours that you disclose when a video is a paid promotion. Either way, keep up the great vids! I've bought a few products based on your reviews.
Madison Brooks Obviously you can’t tell the difference. May be next time before you make accusations you will attempt to get the entire story or at least understand how UA-cam dictates the manner in which creators must handle paid sponsorships. Your comment was comprised of assumptions and false accusations. It’s appalling that you put someone in a position that he has to not only defend his integrity but also make it crystal clear to anyone that views this video the intent of said review so as to not jeopardize his means of income for he and his family.

@@thejasontlewis I enjoy your channel, I'm subscribed. I *NEVER* said there was anything wrong with it. You gotta make that money, by all means, do what you gotta do, I support that. But don't act like this video isn't about you making money, that *IS* dishonest for you to pretend it's not. Just own it is all I'm saying. Having affiliate links aren't much different that a direct paid promotion. In both cases you are trying to push a product to make money for yourself. Again, nothing wrong with that, as a small business owner myself, I say make as much as you can. Pretending like you didn't do this for the money is absurd. I honestly can't believe how upset you've gotten, just over me saying you did it for money. And looking through other comments, it's obvious MANY people think the same. So, even if I were wrong, perception is key, and the way it is perceived, this is a paid advertisement. Just come out and say, "yes I have an affiliate link to make money, but I stand by this product so much, or I wouldn't want to be an affiliate". As someone that has done a lot of marketing, something like that would go a long way for people to appreciate how you go about making money, even more. I really can't believe a subscriber giving their honest opinion has gotten you this upset. And I'm not the only one. I can always unsubscribe if honest opinions bother you that much. I thought that is what this channel is about after all, honest opinions. Kind of hypocritical on that one.
This question is for all those that have the Titan. I have one, just recently purchased, does your chair have a slight rocking action from the tilt mechanism? Is this common? I love the chair, it's great and I game, draft and work on the computer for hours on end and have never been more comfortable. I'm curious about this rocking and over time will it be an issue or failure point. SecretLab has indicated that his is normal but of all the chairs I've had, this is the first with this "issue". I want to address this early on if this is an issue or feel confident that years down the line that the chair will be solid as rock.
icloudCB yeah... Apple is what blew his channel up i subscribed back when he had 10k followers and he did PS4 gaming headset reviews. I still like all the stuff he talks about.
I've actually seen some people use chairs with seatbelts and thought WTF but if it helps stop slouching maybe they actually make sense, what do you think? I'm a cad guy since early 90s if there's one thing I could advise young people It's get your posture right and get a good chair...
I would be considered a young guy but my back sure does feel like 47, so this review has been super helpful! Been looking a the Omega and Titan chairs for a few weeks now and I think I may have to go with the Titan for the integrated lumbar support, especially at 6ft tall. Even though you're 47, you're an upbeat and funny dude and I like your style! Keep it up!
I was looking at the omega then discovered the Titan. I have been doing a lot of reviews and I have been hearing great reviews. I might get it this year but man the price LOL. I hope it will be worth it.
You should compare this chair to a clutch series chair because everything you said about your secret lab chair is how i feel about my clutch chair. I'd watch a comparison review on that.
Hey great video, I'm really considering the chair but I'm torn between this leather version and the new Black3 Softweave Fabric that was recently released. I really like the look of the Leather but the Fabric seems more comfortable. Would love a video on that! If you do one please include lots of views of the chair itself! Thanks!
I got mines about two days ago, and for some reason the back of my legs hurt! Im 5’6 and i bought the Titan, but i dont know why the back of my legs started to hurt every time i use it
This chair is very comfortable but, I am 99% sure that the chair I purchased had lead all over it. I legit had the chair for 2 weeks and I started smelling a significant strange smell and a metallic taste in my mouth. After a while I started to lose my memory I started to act irrational getting angry for no reason awful stomach aches. I searched endlessly on the internet for what the fuck was happening I just yesterday searched lead poisoning symptoms and nearly everything lines up with lead poisoning. Maybe this guy got lucky and they just didn't put lead on this chair but it seems like there was a significant amount on mine I can't even stay in the room I set the chair up in. My life has been completely derailed.
I just ordered the black & suede Titan today and can't wait to receive it but wasn't thrilled with potentially waiting till the middle of next month to get my hands on it smh oh well like the saying goes "good things come to those who wait"
Is the chair worth it? I have a good sized office chair but I feel like this chair is on another level. Is it honestly worth the money for long term use?
This review isn't really strict. You should show if the hand rest wobbles when it is locked. And whether it is comfortable enough to sleep when inclined all the way back with your leg resting on a separate chair. And you have not talked about the wheels, the smoothest wheels I have ever seen/used. No problem going straight without spinning (like conventional office chair) and whether the lumbar adjustment fits your spine shape...
Good looking chair but I think it is too firm on the seat, seems like hardly any cushion and feels very hard sitting on it all day ( I got the Titan soft weave fabric), not like my Steelcase Amia chair (only reason to switch was I wanted high back chair with recline) but Steelcase seat cushion is much more comfortable than this. Keeping it and hoping I like it over time.
Sean H to be honest this is really stiff! Its hard as a rock! It occludes my lower leg circulation. Not good in the long run. Risk for deep vein thrombosis
Have you ever used a Herman Miller Aeron before. Really wondering the difference. The Aeron is the only chair I can stand for hours on end. Keep looking at these but never pull the trigger.
I just got a new one and was wondering if you had any play in yours when in the locked position. Mine moves slightly front to back. Seems odd. Does your have any motion?
I am a little late at the party, but I am currently looking to buy this chair. The only thing is online I read comments saying this chair is better for people who are fairly tall. If you are not above a certain height they recommend the Omega. The thing is i prefer the look Titan, but my length is 175 CM. Do you think this is the chair for me then or not ? Hoping on some help because the chair is not cheap and I am hoping to use the chair for a long time. Thanks in advance ! love the videos btw :D
I thought about getting this chair but due to the company’s ways of bribing people for an extra 2 years warranty to promote discomfort on your spine is disgusting to see, be honest about it and tell it how it is and take your tongue out there arse it’s painful to see. To the people thinking of getting this chair.. think about comfort and actual back support in the right area, I’m 6,5 and seen that the back support for tall people does not work unless you use a bed pillow, anyone under 6,1 should be ok I hope. For the price.. if it’s looks your going for you can find one for half the price.. if it’s for comfort and looks you can find a chair for the same price, just do a bit of researching. I’m just hear to help and obviously not promote and have honest opinions.
I realized you’re not using this secret lab chair in your recent videos, can you give your honest reason on why that is ? I’m considering getting one , Thanks
Nice ill been waiting for my pre orderd titan 2020 for 3 months now pretty damn angry when they told me to wait one mont more and ill get a 26e worth cleaning mat
Got the same.. But I send an e-mail today and they said they start shipping the wave 1 and they will have shipped whole wave 1 at the end of the week. So fingers crossed. Been waiting for 2 1/2 months now.. So if you've preordered in wave 2, you need to wait another 2 months
I bought my Titan 2020 a few weeks ago in the softweave fabric. I'm 6' 1" 260lbs and I have to say after a few weeks I'm not impressed with this chair. For one thing, the built in lumbar support is too high, it should be a few inches lower to support your lower back. Even if I sit straight up it's too high on my back. Second problem is the armrests, they are not comfortable at all and I ended up getting armrest pads to soften them. Worst of all though, I sit in this chair a lot since I work from home and I can already feel the foam under my butt starting to compress all the way down to the frame of the chair. It's like the chair has plenty of foam for the thighs but not enough for the butt. For 400+ dollars I was expecting a little better. I'm not shipping this thing back so I'll probably keep it for a while then give it away.
So, I need a new chair for gaming iny bedroom. Console gamer in front of a TV. Would this be a good chair to get, or because of the price, would you recommend something more like a sofa chair/recliner? I don't have a lot of space mind you.
@@annabelreimann718 I did get it and have been using it. I am very happy with the purchase. It definitely feels stiff at first, but then you get used to it and it becomes pretty comfortable. Helps me with my posture a little. You can also adjust it to lean back more if you like too. I would totally recommend it.
Hey Jason just gotta say I dont disagree with this review at all and I know you'd still be critical even if you didnt pay for it. You never mention if you paid for the other headsets or gear you review or if you send it back (not always) so why are some people questioning now ? Honestly Im fine with you getting things for free and taking time to review it; versus other videos on this chair where they review it right after unboxing it and putting it together :/ Hope you have a good week and keep up the quality content
Cant recommend anybody a gaming chair in this price range. They arent good for you have really bad quality and are far to expensive for what you get. I had many gaming chairs for example, Maxnomic, DxRacer, Secret Lab and Noblechairs. All had the same build with different foams and leather or fabrics. Mass produced shit which looks good. Small things like the lumbar support sound great but arent when you keep in mind a lumbar support also needs to be one the wright height and the wright force. Finally i bought a chair from a local german manufacture. I recommend everybody to a) buy a good normal chair for the same amount as the secretlab. Much better for your back. Or b) look for high quality gaming chair makers when you want the looks
Hi! Plese, which chair would you recomand me, as I really want a nice lumbar support chair, not with a pillow ? The thing is I am 1m74 and 70Kg and Titan or Noble chair Hero are meant for bigger/taller people ? thanks a lot
The Titan's meant for people who are 175cm and taller yea? Buy yourself a seat cushion from IKEA or smth will work perfectly for you. Heard the secretlab chair cushion is pretty stiff itself anyway. I've ordered mine but it'll only arrive end April though, so I'll update my comment when time comes.
@@jakechuaweipeng hello can you report back please. Got a titan coming for my husband tomorrow as a surprise and I had no idea it was meant for bigger lads!
@@ActualStellaNation Heya! I got the Softweave and the it's really quite comfy. My main concern would be spills, which would probably be crazy hard to clean off because it'll soak right through. My feet can just rest on the ground when I'm in the lowest setting which is great (though this might vary due to individual differences in lower leg length). Sitting cross-legged is nice too, if you raise the two armrests to an appropriate height. I find that with the ikea cushion, it puts you out of position from the lumbar support, which was fine, because the Softweave seat is relatively soft, and reports from users have shown it getting softer over time. Heard the PU leather version has a harder seat.
@@soapymcsoapy3815 for the 2 days I've had it I absolutely love it...the back support I feel like is the best part about the chair...if you're thinking about purchasing it I'd say do it

I'm thinking. As you didn't pay for the chair. I can not trust your opinion. And even if you did. You'll be justifing the amount of money spent on a chair. The chair cost more then what I make in a week. And I'm live off a fine budget. if the chair wasn't crazy expensive. I could believe you. But since it's sponsored. I'm guessing your a bit
Very confused as why anyone bought a "gamer" chair instead of a high end ergonomic office chair. Yes the office chairs are more expensive but that's because they're better, there are chairs out there with a 12 year warranty so the three you get with this doesn't sound that good. It seems gamers do much research before buying things and get fooled by something being made for "gamers" even though that, normally, increases the cost, decreases the quality or suitability, or adds useless crap like RGB lighting.

Why can't you return it? It states on the website that you have up to 49 days after it's been delivered. You just have to cover return shipping.

Not only did the chair fix my back. But it does the ironing and washing up too. 17 out of 5 stars.

For everyone who doesn't like this guy because he got it for free, i've had the omega for about 8 months now and the only thing bad is it's a little small for me. The firmness is surprisingly comfortable and I can only recommend it to just about everyone. @@Somber.Killer I feel you bro =( What have you decided???
@@Zkitttles agreed 100% 😊

@@stevieg6418 In this capacity, it is the very definition of bias. Journalists have debated and settled this topic decades ago - it is unequivocal. @@thebluemetalviking345 how is it holding up now?
Looks like I have a birthday present I want now. Thanks!
Ordered mine a week ago, it is to be shipped by September 15th. My back is really looking forward to it 😄
People have been asking about your chair, or SecretLab have asked you to do a paid promotion?
I enjoy your channel, I'm subscribed.
Is the lumbar support in the Titan comfy or would it be worth buying the memory foam back pillow that comes with the omega separately?
This question is for all those that have the Titan. I have one, just recently purchased, does your chair have a slight rocking action from the tilt mechanism? Is this common? I love the chair, it's great and I game, draft and work on the computer for hours on end and have never been more comfortable. I'm curious about this rocking and over time will it be an issue or failure point. SecretLab has indicated that his is normal but of all the chairs I've had, this is the first with this "issue". I want to address this early on if this is an issue or feel confident that years down the line that the chair will be solid as rock.
If i move around in my chair it has a little rock to it but i dont notice if I'm just sitting or leaning back.
Wut?!?! A video NOT about Apple or the Note 10... WOWOWOWOWOWOW

I've actually seen some people use chairs with seatbelts and thought WTF but if it helps stop slouching maybe they actually make sense, what do you think? I'm a cad guy since early 90s if there's one thing I could advise young people It's get your posture right and get a good chair...
I have a lay z boy recliner and the springs gave out in the cushion. They came and 'repaired' it. I'm a 50 year old BIG boy 😂

The Secretlab is at my pc.
My life has been completely derailed.
is the a bar in the back pair? when you lean back for a few hours did it hurt you mid back ?
It feels fine.
I just ordered the black & suede Titan today and can't wait to receive it but wasn't thrilled with potentially waiting till the middle of next month to get my hands on it smh oh well like the saying goes "good things come to those who wait"
How tall are you? I’m 6’4 and need one that gives head/neck support which means my head needs to hit the back rest and not go over the top.
They have 3 different sizes for height and weight. Yours would be the titan model.
Is the chair worth it? I have a good sized office chair but I feel like this chair is on another level. Is it honestly worth the money for long term use?
@@thejasontlewis Thank you for the reply! Just ordered mine!
DarkPa1adin The hand rests do wobble even when locked in place. I have the 2020 Omega chair and the armrests wobble on that as well.
Do you think that would work as an office chair? I just want a comfortable chair for work, I was looking at Herman Miller but those cost 1000+
Can't be anymore stiff than the Respawn 110, I just sold my Respawn to some sucker on Offer Up today and purchased this Black & Suede Titan
Just a little but less than other chairs I've had.
To the people thinking of getting this chair.. think about comfort and actual back support in the right area, I’m 6,5 and seen that the back support for tall people does not work unless you use a bed pillow, anyone under 6,1 should be ok I hope. For the price.. if it’s looks your going for you can find one for half the price.. if it’s for comfort and looks you can find a chair for the same price, just do a bit of researching.

You of all people should understand this. Your channel has grown in large part because of your 'Can You Trust' videos where you judge content creators based off of their body of work. What makes my comment any different in spirit than those videos? Are you maintaining that there is no truth to my comment? I get it the purpose of the video, and I don't have a problem with you making it. I just feel that it could have been executed in a way that seems less disingenuous.

Your assessment and comment is very similar to mine. I even told him to make that money anyway he can. I just mentioned that it was easy to tell this video was about making money. Nothing wrong with that, just don't try to pretend it's not.
Ayy we have the same interface and monitors!
There's leather and then there's fake leather.. polyurethane aka PU leather is the latter
They upgraded the PU leather to be worn proof for at least 2 years... But plastic being plastic will not last as compare to real leather
Have you used a DX Racer chair before? I have one right now but it hurts my legs, I have been seeing ads about the SecretLab chairs and was wondering how they compare.
I got this chair a month ago and it really hurts my legs, to the point I can't sit a full day in it anymore. I may need to get rid of it altogether, total waste :(
I'm thinking.
How much did they pay you for so honest review?
A free chair, he even said it in the video
Really ? people have been asking about your chair?
Why not? I was wondering about his chair.
I'm looking for something comfortable and was thinking of the La-Z-Boy Delano
@@fvahamonde sure , great. i hope you find a nice chair. there are too many tech channels anyway. we could use some channels devoted to furniture
Dude this chair better be good... Btw chill your kissing their ass
Ordered blackout napa leather version. 😀
jesus is lord
