I fondly remember the old rigid-frame wheel loaders from way back then. Operators would sometimes drive them backwards from job to job because they( ex. Hough's) were actually faster in reverse and of course the steering was easier. A machine like yours puts "fun" into snow removal.
I had the exact same loader years ago except mine had a Detroit in it. You could move just about anything with that old girl. Solid frame made it a little less agile. It was very dependable.
I recently saw a Hough pay loader of similar size on marketplace and priced right. I controlled myself not to call and now I think it’s gone, probably a good thing. The getting in and out is a downfall as I get older. Brakes, always the last thing fixed. I think you’re the man I contacted a year or two ago about a little scraper, if so a short video on that sometime would be appreciated . Thanks

Just picked up a 1958 TL16 at an auction last week (non-runner) Hope to get it going and have as good a machine as you’ve got there!
Sweet! Great thing to have around. I've run new cats and cases, loaders sure have come a long ways!
Being an allis chalmers fanatic like I am, I took a liking to that old girl
you should try to post more. enjoy your collection
I’ll work on it!
Remember those old Allis bucket loaders and dozers back in the day.
Can't wait for the hd15 video
Simple and reliable machine.
Several decades ago I spent time on a very similar machine. It was a gas version Case W6 loader with an aftermarket cab.
The cab makes it a Cadillac! also and appendage saver
Owned one very similar to this except it had 4cyl diesel. Don't know how many hundreds of times i dropped into that seat and load hundreds of trucks.
Nice machine! 😃 i had a TL30 whit AEC diesel engine for many years! 😊 its in my videos!

Yeah takes an acre to make a circle, but it’s a handy brute to have around the yard, lot of weight behind it.
My dad use to work at Deerfield's Illinois plant he would test them at the old brick yard accross the railroad tracks

Yes I did pick up that little pan, appreciate the lead! few things need to be done to get operational but will certainly keep you posted.
Is the steering hard on that thing? My tl12 has shitty steering no power steering
Paljon nopeemmin auraisi kun laittaisi lumiauran?
Nice video! I’ve got a TL12 about the same vintage in my yard. Contact me if interested 😊
Interested, you have my # Steve
