I Miss You, Mom!🧡😌

And there comes a day when you realise you're talking like her,
cooking like her,
scolding like her,
singing like her,
teaching like her,
dancing like her,
writing like her,
crying like her.
And there comes a day when those huge shoes
that you tried on so much remain with you,
and you follow in the footsteps left behind.
With each step, you understand everything you've always criticised.
You realise the limits,
the challenges, the frustrations,
worries and fears.
And you feel grateful that she was there,
watching attentively, vigilant, present.
You thank her for her care, her sacrifices, her time.
There comes a day when you look in the mirror and see her.
Because, for a few months, we were inside her,
but she will always be inside us.
And so the cycle of life unfolds,
an eternal echo of maternal love,
a legacy of wisdom and compassion
that transcends the limits of time.
And in every gesture, in every word, in every tear, and also in every smile,
we realise her continuous presence,
a gentle light that guides our steps
and warms our hearts, forever.
