Parents take note- when you provide your child with a weapon and they commit a crime with it you too will be held accountable.

@@RDixon-gi1ow is the news to parents in different states? Damn,, in Michigan until they are 18 your responsibility... Unless they move out.. Michigan cops told me their was a van in my neighborhood was damaged.. witness may have saw my son (17 yrs old) & I would be liable.... So with the Grace of God the witness was wrong or I would have had to pay 10000 of dollars. Parents really? Y'all don't know that ? Wake up raise your child with God & teach your your children not to kill & explain what is dose to people the sadness it causes.. get down to facts just like any other uncomfortable subjects.. funerals are not meet & greet get together...I would like to ask the shooter are you happy now?? Was it fun for you ? What did you think ? You weren't going to prison... You gave up your freedom & your soul.. your a terrorist, why? To whom it may concern: I feel the public should know so we can see it happening in our kids ,, besides wanting a gun,,, there's more to the reasons to kill. If y'all can't find it I'm for cop's killing at the scene of the crime!!! Because we'll never know what is in his brain. So save many & end this rapid shooting spree that seems to be in style.. wonder what God thinks? The devil seems to be working overtime.. IN NAME OF GOD HELP US.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 ... Vote for armed guards in school's.. innocent people shouldn't have to DIE because a child is a killer, seems like the younger they are the worst they get.. build children mental hospitals & shock treatment back. I know there's help out there with all the billionaires.... Some one has answers or they just want us to DIE...😔😢😢❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

@@rosep9866 Since you brought it up, it is the "Church" that has failed society. Churches are more concerned about growing the membership than teaching the principles of God. ALL of the failures (individual, parents, schools, law enforcement, government, society at large) are a result of the Church failing to hold both it's members and society accountable. God's judgement is coming. I say all of this as a born-again Christian. I have said it most of my adult life, and I am 62 years old.

If you actually watch the interview done last year his parents were both very involved and kept a close watch on him. As a parent to a teenager you can’t be by their side at all times. You can guide them and help them but in the end they make their own choice. Dad buying him a pew pew was not smart when he knew his son’s state of mind. You mean AFTER his son was investigated last May 2023, with threats made to wanting to shoot up his school, his Dad gifted him a AR-7 Rifle! Keep him in jail! Parents wake up, this is a new law now! Your responsibility now is to lock your rifles and or guns away in your home away from your children! That keeps you safe, and you need to be stricter on your children. Teach them early in life, dont let them run around mean and ugly. This Father was ignorant enough to gift his son a weapon that killed 4 people! Injuring 9 others! His son made threats prior and no one listened. No one did anything. They are to blame as much including the Sheriff's office that investigated this a year ago. When a child makes a threat ( giving the history as we know from incidents involving previous fatal school shootings) you better listen. More should have been done a year ago to stop this from happening today. Such called police Departments everywhere in the Country needs to take these threats serious! This Father gifted his son a dangerous gun at 13 yrs of age. Again, shortly after the boy made threats last year to seek out and do this and he succeeded! He really deserves just as much punishment in these type of cases I agree!

I signed paperwork when I purchased my guns to keep them locked away safely from my children and they came with locks. I always kept mine locked up, and unloaded and my ammo was locked up separately. I bought my son a little shotgun to go hunting with me and it had a lock built into it and I had the only key (someone stole it and didn't have the key smh). My kids didn't ever have access to my weapons when they were little. Not only do they come with locks all the local police departments have them for free. It's neglect on a parent's part. A couple years ago a local little boy about my grandson's age (3) climbed into his Dad's truck and got the pistol out of the glove compartment and killed his self. I can't imagine having to live with that the rest of my life. And then as a parent in this story to know you bought the weapon and gave it to your son that took other innocent lives? It's so sad for all those involved and it's got to stop. That interview from last year is a joke. The signs were there and trained law enforcement couldn't see it? It blows my mind.

The whole thing is sad. Trying to be a good parent is takes a lot of energy, effort, intentionality, selflessness and sacrifice.
I don’t know anything about this family but it feels like there were multiple missteps that may have impacted this outcome.
Bad outcomes can happen even when we’ve seemingly done everything right. Knowing there are challenges and arming a child with a weapon feels reckless to me.
My daughter is 10 and the amount of change that occurred just on the last 3 months is mind blowing. She’s an awesome kid and I can see all the hormones in action with how she processes things, the way her emotions are expressed, what she cares about…adolescence can be challenging and I cannot imagine doing it now.

Lemme guess...The solution is to remove the 2nd Amendment?😂😂😂 Naw we'll keep all of our freedoms thank you. The problem is parents who could care less about raising their children. Hold parents accountable for poor parenting.

@punishedsnake6141 is the 2nd amendment not there to allow you to defend yourself/family/home etc? Why do you need an AR to do that? Why isn't a hand gun is sufficient?
