Good to see the kids are as excited as dad. Well maybe not as excited as dad.😂😂😂😂Great to see a family getting involved in a great past time. Good on you all.👍👍
Mate, that's what fishing is all about. Having a great time with the family. Was a pleasure for me watching this. I'll be heading to Karumba in November.
Awesome Johnny. You need to have a chat with Groova up there. He runs Carpentaria Barra charters in Kurumba. He is the Barra whisperer mate and a bloody legend. Love your videos. Enjoy the adventures with the family. Watch out for those big lizards up there too mate. 🐊👍🏼
Thanks mate. That’s awesome. I’ll keep his contact for our next time up there for sure. Cheers! Yep the Croc scene is certainly part of the plan with where we are fishing and not.
Another top video John , the same we were there 2006 mate just had a ball ,we supplied the caravan park people with fish for the week just a great time, then went through to Weipa and caught big Jew ,x large fingermark , and Barra just a wonderful trip. what a RUSH. Cheers Chris
Well done. Your videos are my escape as NSW enters a 2 week Covid lockdown. I am so craving to go fishing but I have taken up lure painting which is great. Keep up the videos
Cheers Leonard ;) sorry to hear you are copping another Lockdown mate. It’s been a tough run. Hopefully not something that’ll continue much longer now late. There’s too many fishing spots that need to be hit ;) that’s awesome to hear about your lure crafting
Hahaaa. Cheers Dave. There’s a tonne of editing between fish mate and some sessions like the slowest of slow that never find their way to the computer for editing too ;) I still cop my fair share of slow days. That said, I still find the sweetness in Donuts and up here in the country I’m flicking, I’m mind blown from the moment the boat hits the water and I get a chance to take it all in. Dreamt of scenes like this since those early days of VHS videos and to witness it is something more than I ever could have imagined.
Thanks again mate. I’m working on it and starting to try a few things to get it better. Not quite right yet but will be an improvement in progress I reckon.
Mig hey r end up running one of those little rode picket mics once I’m gone and can test a few things and have products sent home etc. appreciate your support with the channel as always Victor
I just love how much more confident the kids have gotten in the boat over the past few weeks. And how relaxed Lauren is when fishing. Just sitting chillin and hooks a BARRA.. Congrats Lauren. “TOMMY” It’s not Boche 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Another great vid John. Keep enjoying the experience. Your smile is bigger than ever.
What a awesome video John, Karumba is my old hometown, I haven’t been back for years and I miss it so much. The fishing is fantastic and the seafood is the best tasting in Australia and the locals are amazing people
Wow, amazing video champion, some of us will never get to experience what your doing, so huge thanks for bringing us all along for the ride, amazing views and scenery ,
I ALWAYS burn the sausages. The wife said ' we can go home now ' pretty quickly, only back to camp I hope mate in her defence it was late in the arv. I love my Curado, that much that my 3k Stella feels lonely...thanks to you JC. Oopz..You've done it again Professor too deadly.👑🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💣💥🤙🏼
Life is so short, and its such a pleasure to see you fulfilling a life long dream with your family. I’m a passionate live bait fisherman, grab an aerator Johny! I wish you and your family great joys in your very special adventure together.
Cheers Rade ;) I’ll have to make sure we use the aerator. The kids love Livey fishing too so it’s becoming a bigger part of the plan each session now which has been really enjoyable. Thanks again for your message
Noice... you've done really well considering it's peak tourist season, usually an armada of nomads are trolling from the hut to shelly beach non stop. I guess it was supper time. Gonna go watch your jerk bait video now!!
Mate you’re spot on. The winds kept everyone in camp and the bloke who gave me some tips was like ‘ have a look at those nomads boats beside their camp’…. Now is the time!
Cheers Brent ;) Final Cut Pro is what I use. I find it great for what I do and the new M1 chip by apple makes it quicker than I ever thought possible. It’s a huge step in the right direction for the rendering and processing time. Cheers mate. iMovie on Mac does 80-90% of what I use if you were looking into it
Just Awsome..my smile is as big as yours now Thankyou.
Thanks folks
Good to see the kids are as excited as dad. Well maybe not as excited as dad.😂😂😂😂Great to see a family getting involved in a great past time.

Is the Shimano vanford good for Catching Barra Jacks or is it to finesse
Mate it’s a beautiful reel to fish with and doing the job out here. I love my Stadic and Vanford. Both are great for it.
Yea thanks
