I drank ones or two bottles of liquor a day or more than a 36 pack of beer from the age of 18 to 28 ended up in the hospital nearly dying. Had to quit cold turkey because my organs were f***** up but they gave me IV Ativan so I wouldn't have seizures or feel the withdrawals. I'll be one year sober in August
Oh and since I can't go cold turkey with that benzos that helped me get off of alcohol. I've been slowly tapering for the past year down to 3 mg all the way from 40 to 90 mg

As someone who has been addicted to DXM it definitely doesn't belong in S tier. The high from it is pretty shitty, especially if you use it frequently and build a tolerance. Its also highly addictive and hard to quit because of the fact that its legal and getting it is as simple as walking into a Walmart. while its safer than a lot of harder drugs it can still ruin your life, and even kill you.

So, as an ex stoner I can say something about grass. There are 2 main strains that affect mood differently, it’s Sativa and indica. Indica makes you relax and sleepy, sativa makes you energetic and euphoric, also people use Hybrids. Regular use of grass can cause: memory problems, money problems, slowliness and sleepiness. Also can affect mood. Regular use not recommended
Theres research done about this and they've found that due to all of the crossbreeding everything is basically a hybrid now and finding either of them on their own would be fairly difficult

30:50 idk if anyone else has commented on this already but the reason adderall is so potent and often dangerous for people without ADHD is because their brains already have adequate access to all the neurotransmitters that essentially help with focus and impulse control. people with ADHD are born with a different brain structure and different brain chemistry which interferes with their ability to fully utilize the neurotransmitters produced. in other words, people with ADHD naturally have less "resting" dopamine than normal; they must constantly stimulate themselves in order to have the same "resting" dopamine levels as someone without ADHD. this can make things like mundane everyday tasks much harder to do, because not only are they boring, but there is practically no sense of accomplishment (aka dopamine reward) to make it seem worthwhile. there are other factors that contribute to difficulty carrying out tasks like these, but theyre less relevant to my current point. for example, i know i have to brush my teeth and take showers for my own health, but those tasks are not stimulating enough for me to feel satisfied after doing them. i can still do them, but its a lot more draining and unfulfilling because i dont receive a dopamine reward for completing tasks that are understimulating. my way of getting around this is having a youtube video to watch/listen to while i do these things. im keeping myself stimulated with something i enjoy, and im getting done what i cannot avoid. it is less effective when my meds have worn off, but thats just how things are. this strat isnt guaranteed to work for everyone anyway. my point is, the reason why adderall "gives you ADHD" is because it is basically giving you what you already have. and if you tell your brain to stop blocking dopamine reception when it never was in the first place, youll eventually burn yourself out from the overload and crash really hard. in more extreme cases, it can actually lessen how much dopamine your brain naturally produces, and then youll ACTUALLY have a problem. you can probably figure out the rest from there. lastly, if you read this far, thanks! i hope i was able to help inform you on the matter. staying educated is important and helps not only yourself but everyone around you as well.

I just want to point out that LSD can have long term damage, as you can develop a condition called HPPD (hallucinogenic persisting perception disorder). It basically causes hallucinations to happen even while not on LSD, like patterns moving at its most mild and bright color flashes and kaleidoscope-esque distortions at its worst. It can be very debilitating and there's no cure, just treatment that doesn't work forever. Be careful if you want to take hallucinogens and be sure to give yourself plenty of time between trips.

i had a friend who did a lot of acid when he was 15. turns out he had a family history of schizophrenia and the acid prematurely induced it. he’s been in psychosis since then and he’s 19 now. he’ll never be the same. even if you don’t have a predisposition to mental illness, too much acid can put you into psychosis and it may not be fixable.
Steroids are also used to treat illnesses and different chronic health conditions. My father has to take weekly steroid injections for his arthritis! It's not just used as a sports enhancement
What you're referring to are corticosteroids, their effects have no relation to anabolics or testosterone. Examples of these would be predisone, methylprednisolone, and cortisol.

okay weird thing, but my dad has really bad athsma and he took steroids for years because of it. well one of the side effects of steroid usage is bone deterioration (maybe) and he always got the injections in his hips. Two years ago he had to get hip replacement surgery because they deteriorated so bad and now he just has ceramic hip bones. He's fine btw, just like 1/4 ceramic now lol
what's funny about amphetamines is that it actually has kind of relaxing effect on people with ADHD. so dexamphetamine is prescribed to ADHD patients to make them more docile and concentrate better
from my experience from doing lsd for about 4 years for about a few years ago, there is some "side effects", for me it's mainly flashbacks, not in memories, but the trips themselves, for example, if you tripped in a certain location, then go back there when sober or on another substance, you might start feel and might experience similar things you did in a trip, and I did it for about 4 years in my teen years. Take it with moderation, I would say take it maybe once or twice a month, or occasional, and with moderation. :) be safe, peace.

Yeah there was a ton of misinformation in here. I get that he probably didnt have a ton of time to research each drug, as he covered a lot of them, but even some very basic information was wrong. Stuff like calling morphine a synthetic opioid (ik its very nitpicky and doesnt matter, but its still wrong) and saying codeine can be injected (codeine needs to be taken orally to have any effects, and is highly likely to cause a deadly histamine reaction if injected).

Both my sisters were on it for ADHD, and my youngest sister was about 10-11 and she was hardly 60 pounds, she looked grey, her hair and nails wouldn’t grow, she would forget to eat for days and her face was so sunken in. One thing to mention with dxm atleast from a personal experience is that ive never had a hallucinogenic experience with it its purely an out of body disorientation that eats away your mental health and demolishes your liver and appetite and will probably just spiral you into some wierd state of ego death. I've only fourth plateu'd once but it was a really horrific experience where I lost connection with my body and ended up spending the day after in a state of disarray and misery where I couldn't eat anything and I couldn't get away from the distortions shit is just not worth doing and dextroheads are like fully fucking insane
@@ClemRest986I mean, while you certainly don't want to count on being able to avoid becoming addicted whenever trying any recreational drug including dxm, you don't have to consume it to the point you kill your liver off or lose your mind lol. Lots of drugs out there that are just as if not more toxic with long term usage. Also ego death is something that doesn't have anything to do with your body shutting down... That's regular death🙃. Ego death is that point where you completely lose your natural sense of perspective, perception and ability to engage in self-referential thought; ie you completely forget who you are and feel like you are in a completely different world. It definitely can cause hallucinations albeit it's kinda unpredictable in this regard and they're not really the same as the stereotypical psychedelic hallucinations because they have different pharmacologies (well, unless you combine it with weed which I honestly don't recommend... Can be very disorienting and unpleasant). Dissociatives in general are just weird drugs and that weirdness along with the euphoria they can cause kind of makes for their appeal. This also definitely comes with a degree of unpredictability especially when you consider how much differences in metabolism can also result in different effects. Just be careful if you ever for whatever reason decide to do it and don't jump straight into the deep end. DXM's danger, especially with regards to serotonin syndrome and addictions, is definitely oftentimes underestimated due to it's legality. Think of it as a slightly cruddier version of MDMA/coke combined with a slightly weaker version of ketamine that both last about 6-12 hours depending on your metabolism and the formulation you ingest. It definitely warrants caution... But it ain't like it's evil or something. In fact, albeit in lower doses than those frequently used when abusing dxm, it's being investigated as an antidepressant similarly to ketamine, namely when used in combination with bupropion which halts it's metabolism to a related compound dextrorphan (sometimes referred to as DXO) which has less desirable properties.
Dxm gives you closed eye hallucinations. Also, since you mentioned itching, you're probably allergic to it, I've done it a few times and only had to vomit once because it was mixed with another drug for cold relief. Ket still better though.
I use weed, I’m pretty outgoing but it actually makes me chill. There’s also a thing called greening out when you smoke too much or consume too much. I have also had a few hallucinations while high it definitely sent my paranoia through the roof. So if you ever smoke kid, keep your grades up and don’t give anyone a reason to suspect you
Adderall crashes can also happen when you take it for ADHD. I get them everyday at like 3pm it's not as bad as if you don't have ADHD but I do tend to crash and take naps. (I have ADHD btw and have been taking Adderall for years atp-) Adderall works for ADHD by bassically overstimulating your central nervous system to the point it bassically hard resets because with ADHD it's already overstimulated and stuff. That is why if you take it without ADHD it makes you seem hyper and all that junk. (That's like a super dumbed down version)

As someone who has been addicted to DXM it definitely doesn't belong in S tier. The high from it is pretty shitty, especially if you use it frequently and build a tolerance. Its also highly addictive and hard to quit because of the fact that its legal and getting it is as simple as walking into a Walmart. while its safer than a lot of harder drugs it can still ruin your life, and even kill you.

Indica makes you relax and sleepy, sativa makes you energetic and euphoric, also people use Hybrids. Regular use of grass can cause: memory problems, money problems, slowliness and sleepiness. 30:50 idk if anyone else has commented on this already but the reason adderall is so potent and often dangerous for people without ADHD is because their brains already have adequate access to all the neurotransmitters that essentially help with focus and impulse control. people with ADHD are born with a different brain structure and different brain chemistry which interferes with their ability to fully utilize the neurotransmitters produced.
in other words, people with ADHD naturally have less "resting" dopamine than normal; they must constantly stimulate themselves in order to have the same "resting" dopamine levels as someone without ADHD. this can make things like mundane everyday tasks much harder to do, because not only are they boring, but there is practically no sense of accomplishment (aka dopamine reward) to make it seem worthwhile. there are other factors that contribute to difficulty carrying out tasks like these, but theyre less relevant to my current point.
for example, i know i have to brush my teeth and take showers for my own health, but those tasks are not stimulating enough for me to feel satisfied after doing them. i can still do them, but its a lot more draining and unfulfilling because i dont receive a dopamine reward for completing tasks that are understimulating. my way of getting around this is having a youtube video to watch/listen to while i do these things. im keeping myself stimulated with something i enjoy, and im getting done what i cannot avoid. it is less effective when my meds have worn off, but thats just how things are. this strat isnt guaranteed to work for everyone anyway.
my point is, the reason why adderall "gives you ADHD" is because it is basically giving you what you already have. and if you tell your brain to stop blocking dopamine reception when it never was in the first place, youll eventually burn yourself out from the overload and crash really hard. in more extreme cases, it can actually lessen how much dopamine your brain naturally produces, and then youll ACTUALLY have a problem. you can probably figure out the rest from there.

I just want to point out that LSD can have long term damage, as you can develop a condition called HPPD (hallucinogenic persisting perception disorder). It basically causes hallucinations to happen even while not on LSD, like patterns moving at its most mild and bright color flashes and kaleidoscope-esque distortions at its worst. It can be very debilitating and there's no cure, just treatment that doesn't work forever. Be careful if you want to take hallucinogens and be sure to give yourself plenty of time between trips.

from my experience from doing lsd for about 4 years for about a few years ago, there is some "side effects", for me it's mainly flashbacks, not in memories, but the trips themselves, for example, if you tripped in a certain location, then go back there when sober or on another substance, you might start feel and might experience similar things you did in a trip, and I did it for about 4 years in my teen years.

So the reason adderall is being prescribed to patients with ADHD and the reason it works so well is because a person with adhd has a dopamine insufficiency in their frontal lobe and the mechanism of action for adderall is to block the reuptake of norepinephrine (nor-ep-e-nef-rin) and dopamine, which in turn causes the increased production of these hormones in the body, which travel to the frontal lobe and is what allows these people with adhd to complete that bridge and be able to function at a higher state

Yeah there was a ton of misinformation in here. I get that he probably didnt have a ton of time to research each drug, as he covered a lot of them, but even some very basic information was wrong. Stuff like calling morphine a synthetic opioid (ik its very nitpicky and doesnt matter, but its still wrong) and saying codeine can be injected (codeine needs to be taken orally to have any effects, and is highly likely to cause a deadly histamine reaction if injected).

One thing to mention with dxm atleast from a personal experience is that ive never had a hallucinogenic experience with it its purely an out of body disorientation that eats away your mental health and demolishes your liver and appetite and will probably just spiral you into some wierd state of ego death. I've only fourth plateu'd once but it was a really horrific experience where I lost connection with my body and ended up spending the day after in a state of disarray and misery where I couldn't eat anything and I couldn't get away from the distortions shit is just not worth doing and dextroheads are like fully fucking insane

Lots of drugs out there that are just as if not more toxic with long term usage. Also ego death is something that doesn't have anything to do with your body shutting down... That's regular death🙃. Ego death is that point where you completely lose your natural sense of perspective, perception and ability to engage in self-referential thought; ie you completely forget who you are and feel like you are in a completely different world. It definitely can cause hallucinations albeit it's kinda unpredictable in this regard and they're not really the same as the stereotypical psychedelic hallucinations because they have different pharmacologies (well, unless you combine it with weed which I honestly don't recommend... Can be very disorienting and unpleasant). Dissociatives in general are just weird drugs and that weirdness along with the euphoria they can cause kind of makes for their appeal. This also definitely comes with a degree of unpredictability especially when you consider how much differences in metabolism can also result in different effects. Just be careful if you ever for whatever reason decide to do it and don't jump straight into the deep end. DXM's danger, especially with regards to serotonin syndrome and addictions, is definitely oftentimes underestimated due to it's legality. Think of it as a slightly cruddier version of MDMA/coke combined with a slightly weaker version of ketamine that both last about 6-12 hours depending on your metabolism and the formulation you ingest. It definitely warrants caution... But it ain't like it's evil or something. In fact, albeit in lower doses than those frequently used when abusing dxm, it's being investigated as an antidepressant similarly to ketamine, namely when used in combination with bupropion which halts it's metabolism to a related compound dextrorphan (sometimes referred to as DXO) which has less desirable properties.
Dxm gives you closed eye hallucinations. Also, since you mentioned itching, you're probably allergic to it, I've done it a few times and only had to vomit once because it was mixed with another drug for cold relief. Ket still better though.

I use weed, I’m pretty outgoing but it actually makes me chill. There’s also a thing called greening out when you smoke too much or consume too much. I have also had a few hallucinations while high it definitely sent my paranoia through the roof. So if you ever smoke kid, keep your grades up and don’t give anyone a reason to suspect you

Adderall crashes can also happen when you take it for ADHD. I get them everyday at like 3pm it's not as bad as if you don't have ADHD but I do tend to crash and take naps. (I have ADHD btw and have been taking Adderall for years atp-)
Adderall works for ADHD by bassically overstimulating your
central nervous system to the point it bassically hard resets because with ADHD it's already overstimulated and stuff. That is why if you take it without ADHD it makes you seem hyper and all that junk.

also special note on that amphetamine song- they can feel like that if you use them for long enough- i remember meth giving me a distinctly "loose" and "connected" feeling while also giving the stimulation you'd expect- It may just heavily depend on the person, although I'd like to think that's more common than you'd expect
@@steezyguy not all amphetamines are the same, it's a large class of drugs. But like with many CNS stimulants people with ADHD in particular are actually calmed by amphetamines.
