It's amazing how Junpei of all people is the voice of reason here. His character really developed more than anyone else tbh.
Ehhh the game can't choose between having him grow or having him being the standard perv friend
@@zephyrorsomethinh1528 There's a clear difference between Junpei at the beginning of the game and at the end. In the beginning he was jealous of the protagonist and the only thing he cared about was being the center of attention. He changes a lot after the death of certain characters near the end of the game.
I think he had a better development than others "bro type" characters like Ryuji for example.
Don't forget about Koromaru being a good boy like always.
@@kevinkite3418 he’s really the only one that got any character development, Yosuke jus boxes you, Ryuji let’s some dude punch him and that’s their character development compared to Junpei who was a jokester and like u said was jealous of the protagonist for being the leader even when Junpei wasn’t really capable of leading and then u compare him to the late game where he tells the protagonist that he was glad he met them and that they were great friends not to mention that even his test scores was above average when before he was doing terrible and also that he became smarter in general not involving school and imo end game Junpei was more capable of leading than Aigis ever was and was the 2nd strongest of the group and a lot of ppl will disagree but he’s like practically immortal and could technically use his persona for navigation but idk why they never brought that up in the game, Junpei’s development was insane and that’s why he’s my favorite character in the series and even early on in the game his character was deeper than Ryuji/Yosuke bc him being a comedic relief wasn’t his whole personality and he could hold it back and be serious, something that Ryuji lacked
@@niyol8982 I agree. I like how in general, all characters from Persona 3 are very different from the beginning of the game in comparison to the end. Even after the characters are already in the group as party members, they are still changing and growing, and that's something you can see in the main story, not only through social links. The relationship between Yukari and Mitsuru, the way Ken overcomes his desire for vengeance and hate, Junpei becoming more responsible, etc, this all happens throughout the entire game and not only at the moment they join the party.

After the MC died, the rest of the party's regrets caused a time loop, keeping them in the month of March. After finding out what's keeping them there, they get some time travel key, and realize they have two choices. Move to the future, or go to the past.
Yukari wants to go to the past to keep the MC from dying, and Mitsuru helps her.
Akihiko and Ken want to move to the future, and move on.
Junpei and Koro want everyone to stop fighting.
Aigis doesn't know what to do.

This is rather common in this game. I guess having a persona can make you slightly unhinged.
In the same vein, we had "I am not standing in your way" --> *stands in our way*.

thats why The Answer is the worst add on ever. they should let the story end by the rooftop. i hope they wont release the answer dlc for Reload
@@wanterbaik I think you and everyone else is over exagerrating. I'm like the only one who thoroughly enjoyed The Answer and I'll never understand the outright loathing for it no matter how many reasons are thrown at me. Also too late, it is dlc which is dumb instead of just putting it in the main game by default.

It was really hard for me to fight Koromaru in this part because of all of the wimpers and my love for dogs.

Jumpei, the most chill and reasonable guy, and Koromaru, the most innocent soul of the party.
Fighting against them gives a sense that it is really wrong.
I know it's late, but the reason Junpei's fighting is to see if you've got the determination to follow through with your decision once you make it.
Him and Koromaru are the 2 people I wanted to fight the least in the answer. I respected them so much at the end of this.
I think Atlus purposely made this fight make us feel guilty.They put the dog with one of the best characters in the whole series together and expect us not to get upset
This actually gave me more respect for junpie is that wierd I mean he is not being goofy or dumb but is being honest and is trying to confert them so I guess he matured a bit
At the start of the game junpie is carefree and happy then in the middle he began to mature with the PC then at the end with fes he was the first one to understand that you can't change the past no matter what and stand on your two feet and keep walking.
Even though he and korumaru went ntrual they know they have to fight! So they went out fighting as friends knowing win or lose atleast they help agis understand the meaning of no matter happens we are there for ya and accepted what ever agis wanted.
Is it just me, or is 1:34 - 1:52 feel so heavy and emotional? Playing this game in the beginning, I wonder if any of us would have ever expected fighting Junpei and Koromaru, the most lighthearted and lonely characters in the game.
I think hurting the good boy was a huge shut down...

SPOILERS! Well at the end of The Journey the MC dies. Here they've figured out that they can either save him or let time continue because they're in a time loop but unaffected. Aigis and Metis (Another anti-shadow robot...kinda) want everyone to calm down and think logically but all hell breaks loose. Junpei and Koromaru also want everyone to calm down but we have to fight them anyways. It makes no sense.
6 years late but it makes sense. Hes testing you to see if you really have what it takes to do that

My favorite character in persona 3 is junpei. He's the only character i could really relate to throughout the entire game. I loved the romance between him and chidori, and how his persona evolves, and that he's one of the only characters, in my opinion, who goes through any major character development and acts like a real person
That's why no other game in the Persona series made me cry as much as Persona 3. There's so many scenes that really makes you think about how you would react in their situation. To this day I still think P3 FES was an excellent expansion to the Persona 3 story and I wish they had made a movie about it.

After everyone finds out exactly what the MC did, and realized that it was the only way to save the world, yes. There was the implication that the MC could be brought back to life, but only after a massive change in human thought.

And would he be able to overwrite reality to a degree that frees the p3 Mc or just by making it so the fight with nyx never happened in the first place?
Junpei is my fav P3 character or fav in all persona history how strong and positive he was made me like him more and showed he was a nobody but built up to be a soilder

Some things can't be changed the way they are right now.
Even if they go back to the past, they will not be able to save Minato as they are now.
And even though they fight each other, junpei still trusted everyone, he didn't wanna fight, it was best to move on.

Since you have no direct control over your allies in Persona 3 minus the portable. They have probably use physical attack or magic attack may benefit or harm to your enemies. You have to scan the enemies to make sure your Ai ally perform better job
The problem is, the persona can have their weaknesses protected with an item or a skill. Obviously it's not useful here, but it would be if say there was a hard mode where their personas had resist/repel/drain [insert the personas weakness]

at that moment where Junpei almost beat u, u healed urself. Not that I want to start an arguement, but it's really annoying for me...

Well, I really like aigis, but the reason I lost a bit of my respect for her ( although I've gained it back :) ) is because koro is a dog, and it's just a bit wrong. Plus he's really cute! Although I do understand aigis didn't want to knock him out :P

At that point, Aigis doesn't even know what she wants to do with the key. I personally thought Junpei would be better off with the keys.
Man, this was the most emotional battle in this game. I almost cried when I had to fight them.

It's the only way to get the key, unfortunately... This is actually a portrait of real life. Sometimes you gotta do what you don't want to... To get what you want and need.

Because until the master key is made and all the fires lit, the ones already lost won't be able to return, so for the sake of Akihiko and Ken they had to fight.
I miss that game so much
I really hated this fight. Why go fight someone who is neutral and not hostile first than fight F-ing Yukari and Mitsuru first who obviously almost no one is on their side? Sure I guess they did that to build it up, but I feel like that's the only real plot hole/story flaw. I made a similar comment about this before in another video, but man I just hated doing it. I wish he was just optional or never fight him or even have those 2 join your party after some convincing.
If you actually pay attention to conversations you can understand all four group wants different things. No one really agree with each other but everyone MUST convince others. That's why they fight. Just because you don't like Yukari or Mitsuru's decision that is not make Junpei right directly. Though they more or less agree with him in the end, because of their choice to go back, they could beat Erebos and help the main character win.

@flowtation3 they each have keys where they may either go back to the present and continue their lives, or go back to the past and get a chance to save Minato. In order for the keys to work, they must all agree on the same decision. It isn't until later that they realize that what Minato did was inevitable. Out of all of them, Yukari is the most heartbroken, as she misses him most passionately. She suggests a battle among them to settle their differences...
Everytime I saw Koro-chan get hurt, I die a little inside each time =(

The distortion in the dorm during the Answer storyline grows to open the Colosseum. In the colosseum everyone gets a "key". When all the keys are fused they form a master key capable of a) Opening the front door of the dorm, allowing time to move forward. b) Opening the door for "his" bedroom, rewinding time to before the last battle with Nyx.
The groups opinion vary (particulary Yukari wants to go back and see "him" once again) and they have to fight to merge the master key.

Cesar Vera its a theory that Koromaru’s Persona is already on the same level as the awakened ones, since it comes with Null affinities to Fire and Dark (instead of just resisting them) as well as having a full skill list available
