- Suddenly the screen goes bright and we get sent to the velvet room with surprisingly the rest of the team!
Igor wishes to say goodbye to Aigis as she has finally found her answer to life and is at her journies end.
Metis comforts Aigis by telling her she can still keep her promise by stopping people from wishing for Nyx allowing her to protect him.
Whaaaat!? Metis is the lonely side of Aigis that she threw away!? Man what a twist. Metis comes home to Aigis and Aigis becomes full again.
WHAT NO! Aigis is feeling tired...it can't be happening again! ...nononononononoNO! You can't die on us! Igor why won't you ever answer damnit!
;-; Aigis! noooo!
Suddenly it all goes dark...
"Aigis: I'm feeling.. tired." Me: NOOOO, NOT AGAIN!!
I swear if something like that happened in persona 5 royal I'm going to lose it.
@@probotpixelz7278 it technically did with a bad ending
Igor: How they hell did you all get in my velvet room!?
2:15 - it took the Phantom Thieves shooting the crap out of God and destroying Mementos to do that
Don't forget stopping a false reality
What? No, that's not what happened.
Nyx and Erebus are still out there, humanity will probably desire death forever. It's how things are.
"I think Metis is the side of me I wished away"
Aigis invented Persona 4? What?
Soooo... Was Aegis NOT a truly remarkable guest then?
No she still gets to keep her Wildcard Power, as it's shows in Persona 4 Arena.
As Igor stated, "It seems the power of the Wild Card has influenced them as well, it seems that Aigis was so amazing that she gave the ability to enter the Velvet Room to the others. Maybe in future Persona games they will be able to go on their own journey. Then again, Shin Megami Tensei games are always open to interpretation.
jaja no xD por eso cada prota tiene su momento y el que mas hiso algo por los demas son
joker
makoto
aigis
yu
literalmente cada prota es nueva generacion siemore 6-5 años despues del anterior
I think she the other me...YOUR NOT ME!
DanteVespers *turns into giant boss battle with igor desperately trying to stop them from destroying the room and elizbeth chanting for it to be turned into a club*
In the beginning Metis demanded the others to put the armor on Metis while Aigis was out (and in the Velvet Room). I'm guessing the armor is a symbol of Aigis's machine self. And when it was removed, it basically meant Aigis was back to being the complete person.
3:35 Persona 3 supports Primordial Soup Theory?
So everyone in P3 was in the Velvet Room?! :o
Then why didn't the characters in P4 exept Yu and Marie ever go into the Velvet Room? :(
I remember Teddie being in the velvet room although he didn't know what was going on
KeatonKing To be honest they can't even begin to compare to the scale of conflict the P3 cast faced.
The P5 cast also got to the Velvet Room too
No reason for them too.
P4 is the only persona where this doesn't happen
Metis hinted that p3 and p4 can stop Nyx with bonds
You couldn't have tied the music to the scene perfectly.
I think the real reason for this scene is to give the fans something that many wanted, and that was to see other people in the Velvet Room. In these games, it seems that nobody else besides the Main Character ever finds out about the Velvet Room, and after a while it seems unrealistic that nobody else ever questions them about WHERE they get their Persona powers from. If there was a person on your team that had such a drastically different power, and...
WAIT A MINUTE! "OTHER SIDE"! Now that just sounds like a refrence to persona 2 (EP)! Well it sort of does....no....ok.
yeah but he already became into the great seal
I knew there was Something up with Metis relating to MC and Aigis. I mean look: Her Persona's name is "Psyche" and the fact that she sorta looks like a female version of the Main Character.
that isnt the question. if he were to be freed. could he survive... his body has probably rotten away already so maybe they could make an aigis-esque robo-body
maybe his real body is in the seal, after all he just came back yo fullfill his promise, maybe in a temporal body
Is it just me, or is Metis really Aigis' shadow?
i just love the song in velvet room. and its same in persona 4, yay. only thing that lacks in persona 4's velvet room is elizabeth.
...is magic (Had to say it XD)
The strength of heart to face oneself has... blah blah blah. She has obtained the facade used to overcome life's hardships, the Persona Disco Ninja Frog.
What I still don't get is, if Erebus was permanently destroyed, and Minato was freed from his seal, would he be revived? FES doesn't say much about it, but Elizabeth story in Arena seems to hint that it's possible.
KasuTommy wouldnt his body be decomposed i can just imagine him waking up and then dying immediately again
Erebus is not permanently destroyed, ge will keep comming back as long as humanity doesn't regain the will to live.
...there were no other Persona users like them, and research from the Kirijo group didn't turn up anything, wouldn't you want to know where the hell they got their unique ability from? How they fused those different Personas, and what was the exact process? Sure, there are going to be some purists that want things to stick to the rules clearly, but I think a majority of fans probably wanted to see a scene like this. I know as a fan, I was definitely excited to see a scene with someone else...
So...according to Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena...She has obtained the persona, Athena...again...dude...
Then you will have a hard time accepting that war and peace are just like life and death, can't have one without the other...but hey, it doesn't hurt to dream. =)
I agree! ^^;; It was weird that her armor disappeared after she merged with Metis. Do any of you guys know the answer why? Please, do tell me!
First video game to make me cry a little kinda sad you know.
I'm confused! Isn't the velvet room for all persona users? Well actually persona 3 kinda went on its own tangent there. With the no demons but shadows and no contacting and forming contracts.
@GoldenSoul49 They are Canon, the rules for the velvet room change pretty frequently, even in the canon spinoff games it works differently
It's a fire hazard! D:
its really sad

Godamnit
Yes! This ^
and HIS answer to life? Protection?
ok compared to "the jurney" how much harder is "the answer"?
so metis was aigis's shadow in a way
Not really "in a way", it's much more explicit.
Spoiler Alert!
6:12 ISN'T THIS THE LAST WORD OF DOOR KUN?
i dont get it whts
the diff between persona 3 and persona 3 fes?
i heard tht fes does everything in persona 3 just adds 30 hr more game play and in this game the main pronagist goes in coma sealing nyx away is this right?
I see
so.... she died but how she's a machine how??
She didn't die, this isn't the ending
............."from now on........we'll never be apart"..........that's the same thing that akihiko says to the female protagonist at the end of p3p if you go out with him...............WTF..i guess they ran out of ideas....
Considering ANYONE could go into the Velvet Room in the past Persona games, it being compared to a poor fanfiction is kinda insulting to the series lol
So what's Minato's?
If only there was a Persona FES: FES, to explain why the world of Persona is so f-ed up. Personality splitting robots, teenagers who shoot themselves every two seconds, men with foot long noses ...
In P6 Atlus should make a protagonist like Aigis. I'm tired ofd all the unnamed and silent male high school students with no backstyory and no personality whatsoever!
Vittorio Pugliese well thats sorta the point its an rpg you're suppose to give it their personality..
But some JRPGs like Xenogears, some Tales games and FF7 and 8 showed that if the protagonist is not the player himself but a character separated from the player, he could be more personally involved in the plot, making it feel more personal for the player.
In P3 the protagonsit feels lie he's not even in the game, and in P5 giving Akira an actual personality could have made the Shidou arc more personal.
Not to mention that the novel Quantum Devil Saga clearly shows what Serph could have been if he was not silent and had a personality, and by that I mean he's actually fleshed out and much more involved in the plot.
Vittorio Pugliese yeah i see what your saying
Vittorio Pugliese but, isn't that's the point?
I prefer if JRPG protagonists are characters in their own right. I don't know why they handled Serph so well in the book while they made him silent in the game!
That may be true, but this whole scene just feels like poor fan fiction. Most of The Answer feels like that
Oh my god, FES, what r u doin? FES stahp! Why is the whole team in the Velvet room? It's only supposed to allow the holder of the velvet key inside. I can accept that Aigis is the new chosen one, but the whole team in the velvet room? Just so Aigis can understand friendship? Dumb. Really dumb.
weofparadigm In previous Persona games, the whole team was stationed and in the Velvet Room merely because that is the source of guidance to their power(s). I guess now the Velvet Room is seen as some sort of private resort for only the players to enter.
