I can tell you this, if you have a cracked screen or damage to the screen period get another TV! The cost of repair is most of the time "more" then buying the TV itself. Trust Me on this! On another note this guy was being humorous! He was more less making fun of anyone searching how to fix a cracked TV screen. The jokes on the viewers not on him. Happy 2014!
What would u say about. Tv that lights up blue when u turn it on bu y goes right back to being black has sound put no picture what do u think it is its a rca 43 inch led but there no broken screen or no burns on yhe boards Robert griffin....thanks

@Robert Griffin I have a scratch on a 55in. LG LED tv outer screen, tv works great except for the scratch, is there anywhere one can order just the outer screen to replace. Hate the thought of tossing a working tv over a scratch..

Don Constantino Most problems with LCD/Plasma flat screen TVs are their capacitors. I've recently fixed mine approximately two weeks ago, by replacing the capacitors myself. The capacitors were $5.00 dollars, but shipping increased it to $15.00. Make sure and buy the exact capacitors or you will have problems. Higher voltages are OK... Just check youtube videos for the issues you are specifically having,,, Peace!
