3:23 why could the BBC not have utilised the interesting shaped Dodworth building instead of the ugly edifice that replaced it?
4:07 is one of the ugliest changes, once bustling, all demolished, for WHAT?

I suppose the BBC thought the new building was modern looking and fitted in with the "new" bus station. As for Newport Road, well they widened the road to improve the traffic flow, the same reason we lost the Royal Exchange building and half of Wilson Street.

@@BigMack1959 all the new buildings look tacky, cheap materials, it never improves the traffic flow as it always takes longer to get anywhere than it should.
