LOVE HIM. Are the white patches from being burned by a heat lamp in the past? Not asking who did it or complaining just wondering if that is what causes the white patches I have seen on people's uromastyx.
The bright white patches on Chewy are scarring from a previous injury from improper lighting when he was younger. However similar patches can be caused by other things, such as skin infections.

Generally we'll see a bowel movement every couple of days, give or take. It can really depend on their diet, age, etc. If they go more than a week or so, we'd potentially start to worry about issues with their husbandry.

That's too much, both in the amount of UVB it outputs but in the area it covers. The heat and UVB should be primarily in the basking spot, and if you are using a linear UVB bulb, it should only cover about 1/2 to 2/3rds of the enclosure. The cool side should be an area that the animal can go to if it wishes to get away from it's lights. Choose either the mercury vapor bulb or a halogen/linear UVB combo, but not both.

We use at minimum a 40 gallon breeder tank (36" x 18" x 12" for our uromastyx, but depending on temperatures in your house, it may be more difficult to get a proper temperature gradient in such a small tank. Many keepers are moving to a 4ft x 2ft x 2ft enclosure size as it allows for a much bigger variation in temperatures for your reptile to choose from, and more room for them to explore and exercise.
If it's perhaps low enough to the ground, but these guys are terrestrial animals and a fall may injure them. We typically stack flat rocks as basking areas for these guys as it's easier for them to climb and the stone helps retain heat for the higher temps they require.

I was given one and it has mites. How should I treat that since water isn’t good for it. I was giving it daily baths
