I love how contrasting "It's Pizza Time" and "The Death That I Deservioli" are, in Pizza Time, you don't know if you're gonna make it, but as soon as you start the Lap 2, you realize this theme is not about a panic theme, but a theme to show off since you chose to take that pizza portal.
I love how the two themes contrast against each other. "It's pizza time" is hype but then it's gets more anxiety inducing as it's meant to be the theme inexperienced players hear and are likely to waste lots of time when getting back to the exit. "The death I deservioli" is a complete different beast. It conveys that you went through that portal knowing full well what it meant and either you're about to style on your enemies or you're about to pay for your arrogance. It's pure bravado and I fucking dig it!
i personally think that it signifies that you are familiar with the game, and if you get to hear most of the song it like gives off a confident feeling
You've collected all the toppins, found all the secrets, unlocked the janitor's closet and made it through the first lap. The only thing standing between you and that P rank is this one last lap. That's what this song screams to me and I LOVE IT

The first time you initiate Lap 2, the track suddenly turns that morbid curiosity into fear realizing that the timer is still running and you're back at the beginning. The second time is basically being asked "Why did you do that? You don't have much time left?" and replying with, "It wasn't hard enough" while the adrenaline of the first lap is still kicking but now, doing so in full force.
