I have had all the P Ranks for about 3 or 4 months now, and currently, hearing Absolute Absurziti V2 in Crumbling Tower was the ONLY thing that could recreate that feeling

I’m annoyed because those would actually be good names for some themes in game Eg: in hard drive to munch you, You cannoli run so far would fit the theme.
It would be so cool that in lap 3, the level starts breaking apart since you knocked down the John Pillar, and it opens up a whole new path while you escape Pizza Face.
Ooooh, an even better idea is a Lap 4, where this new path opens up, and the old path caves in, FORCING you to run through this new, unfamiliar environment while Pizzaface chases you. And as for a Lap 5, maybe that could just be to Lap 4 what Lap 3 is to Lap 2. Maybe Pizzaface would go even faster in this lap for added challenge. Normally Pizzaface only barely catches up to you if you're walking, maybe Pizzaface would be so fast that at minimum you need to be running at Mach 2 to outrun him
@@Real_RUBB3R that's not really true, as it is with the current lap 3 mod there's some levels that are actually impossible. pizzaface going faster doesn't add any more challenge in any of the levels except maybe DMAS. it's either possible or it's not, because generally you have to be perfect with the level most of the time to beat lap 3 anyway either way i feel like forcing a whole new route would be kind of dumb. it's much more work for the developer, and any muscle memory learned from the original level is now useless in that lap. better to keep it subtle, maybe with those unused heat combo enemies that are more aggressive.
Pizza face is tired of your shit and instead of waiting the timer, he made it go zero and litteraly said "You cant escape from the death you deservioli"
I love this so much because it so perfectly fits in with Pizza Time and The Death I Deservioli It's Pizza Time begins with a slow realization that quickly turns into bombastic panic as you try to escape a level that feels like it's falling apart around you, still holding on to the fear and anxiety that must be rushing through Peppino's mind. The Death I Deservioli also begins slow and focused, but as the track speeds up and multiple layers are added, including a very prominent whirring that constantly goes up and down, the main melody remains focus and determined. It's no longer a frantic escape, it's a calculated dash through danger, each obstacle perfectly anticipated. Pillar John's Revenge begins with a ticking sound, almost counting down until you lose. If Lap 2 was a determined dash, Lap 3 is just tempting death to try and catch you. The track no longer sounds like the emotions Peppino must be feeling. The track feels directed AT Peppino, telling him (and the player) that they've messed up big time and are about to pay for their hubris. Or I could just be looking way too deep into it.
Peppino was scared... But brave. He saw a second portal, and went through. Lap 2 initiated. He ran faster and faster until he accidentally passed the exit. He restarted the whole level with ghost John chasing, along with pizza face! He ran faster and faster! There was the exit! Just a little more... He passed it. And restarted. "Oh no. Here-a we go again.. " Peppino whispered.
Peppino at this point has clearly turned the crumbling level out, he has to as pizza face is right on his heels and slowly encroaching, from the point on he's not himself, he wizzes by Gustavo pointing him to the exit (Albeit annoyed he passed it)
honestly, having this blasting through a third lap, while takes a completely different path from the first two, with a pizza face replacement specific to the stage... that could be amazingly fun.

My favorite thing about this song is how intimidating and in-your-face it sounds. Like Lap 1 is the "Oh shit I gotta get out of here" song, Lap 2 is the adrenaline of you going "FUCK YEAH IM UNSTOPPABLE" while flexing sorta song, but this??? This song?? This is very much "I have overly misjudged the severity of my actions and am paying for it" kind of song. Fantastic beat powerful beat full of chaos! Love those samples used too and the silly pizza time theme that is almost like mocking the player considering the rest of the vibes of the song lmfao amazing work! Edit: honestly tour de pizza should have this added as guest work for a future update of the game if they ever allow multiple lap runs again! This really deserves the spot imo
I think a great way to implement a Lap 3 is make it only accessible if you had P rank earlier in the level but lost it during Lap 2, and finishing Lap 3 will automatically give you your P rank back. So if you lose your P rank in Lap 2 you have two options: Accept your loss and try again OR Tempt fate to restore your glory I think this would make Lap 3 feel important while also not making it required for 100%. Because avoiding Pizza Face for a whole level is SIGNIFICANTLY harder than anything else this game could throw at you.
Lap 1: The theme of running for your life from certain death. Lap 2: The theme of daring Death to catch you if he can. Lap 3: The theme of you and Death having a chase. (Btw I love the little 2:00 part)
I see it as the theme of Death staring you in the face, and you saying "try me" "death" in this scenario could probably be Pizzaface, but could also be perceived as the Lap 3 portal
Lap 3 is when the unused heat meter mechanic should come in. Where enemies get hella aggressive as well as a new gimmick added to the stage, maybe in mirror mode, blurry effects, TV bounces around to block view and other stuff
0:38 I *love* how this part of the song sounds! It's got that classic cartoon supervillain vibe to it, which considering Pizzaface would definitely be around by this point is fitting. It's like you can hear the anxiety and dread setting in for Peppino all over again after the confidence he had in Lap 2. 😂
I'd love to see a full lap of just escaping pizzaface, he's basically impossible to avoid in every spot where you have to turn around and it'd be cool to see how people bob and weave through his approach
In the mod they will occasionally replace pizza face with other versions that chase you slower to make it tight but possible at the very least, because some levels are actually impossible otherwise
That song is just... WAY TOO COOL!!! Beats are very good, and the style is like the real game. I even think that was the part of game when first heard it
"Okay You've got time, Just get outta here, and quick!" "YES, YES YOU ARE!" *"OH SHIT HE WAS BEING SERIOUS, WELL, LETS SEE YOU CATCH ME NOW, FUCKER!"* - Peppino spaghetti replying to this, maybe.
1 million views 😳 thank yu all for liking my silly song so much 🙏 edit: 2 million views now ive been working on a new lap 3 mod with some pals that'll be out soon with some new music (:
coming back to this about a year and a half later and i find it amazing how the community collectively decided on this being the official lap 3 theme despite it being fanmade. whenever someone makes a lap mod for the game, there's a 99.9% chance it uses pillar john's revenge as the lap 3 theme. whenever someone makes a lap 3 theme for some kind of peppino variation/iteration, they remix pillar john's revenge (case in point: pinolino and fake peppino). even with the noise update out now, i've heard a few lap 3 themes for the guy that feature at least 1 PJR motif somewhere in them. all this and it isn't even official content. this isn't just a pizza tower lap 3 theme. it's THE pizza tower lap 3 theme.
this is seriously the only fansong i've heard for this game (despite there not being that many in the first place of course) that would 100% genuinely fit in with the ost perfectly. Flawless
Lap 1: Better start runnin', *time's ticking.* Lap 2: Oh, looking for a *real* challenge, then? You're either *very brave* or *very foolish.* Let's see how far that gets you. Lap 3: ...Okay. You've made your point. *No more games.*
I could imagine a lap 3 being implemented through P ranking a level for the first time, unlocking a third lap portal giving the player an extra minute to complete the entire thing again. would be interesting if you also need to achieve at least an S rank during the level for the portal to become available.
No Tha Point of the Lap 3 concept here is Pizzaface immedatly chases after you from the start regardless of time left from Lap 2. So its basically about attemping one more lap while Pizzaface chases you throughout the level.
This truly does indeed feel like I'm panic. The idea of just accepting that pizzaface theme will start playing is a master concept and is executed perfectly. Truly one of the songs ever
It's pizza time: let's go! We're running out of time, faster! The death I deservioli: we already came this far once, we can do it again! Pillar John's Revenge: WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE!?! DAMN IT JUST RUN!!
Gustavo: Alright, Peppino! That was one hell of a 2nd lap! You even got a p rank too! Now let's get out before pizzaface arrives- Peppino : That pizzaface a$$hole laughed at me. *I'll laugh at him back.* *(Peppino enters the pizza portal again and starts a 3rd lap)* Gustavo: Wait, *WTF ARE YOU DOING PEPPINO?!*
I imagine this as the lap 2 song for the crumbling tower of pizza, making the now broken pizzaface appear and chase you one last time,as parts of the tower fall from the very top to the damaged floor, even to the entrance, and now that the tower's whole supply of enemies is gone,it desesperatedly spawns tons and tons of cardboard cutouts to stop you on your way to the exit And if you're wondering, yes, the timer will reset, but with less time Edit: it's too much likes even for a person like me
Hear me out here Since he’s shown to be very much alive, have pizzahead chasing you down by straight up slamming through the walls and messing with the rooms,as well as the bosses helping in warding him off when they start following you(fake peppino would have one of the WAR clones lead pizzahead the wrong way, noise would call in the robot camera crew to try and interview pizzahead since he’s shown to be pretty narcissistic, vigilante would basically start magdumping him with all his weapons to knock him down for a bit,and pepperman would make a statue depicting pizzahead as god to distract him.) After the escape completes, pizzahead is now actually dead, since unlike the normal ending he didn’t escape the tower before it collapsed, getting caught on rubble from the boss 4 arena’s peppino sign saying”nothing compares!”before the rest of the tower collapses in on him.
the fact that this sounds like something that would be in the official game its just crazy you really capture the essence of the game and make it sense in the context of the mod
You perfectly caught the style of pizza tower. I could seriously see this as an actual song in the game. Basically lap 2 but with pizza face following you.
i love how this song is the embodiment of "GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE" the insanely chaotic nature of the song with the insanely chaotic and stressful gameplay that is lap 3
00:03 I hear the broken laugh, and imagine it's Peppino entering Lap 3 with psychosis and internalized seething rage as he's about to do a suicide run *and he stares straight into the players soul through the HUD, hoping that if death doesn't take him, he is going to make sure it takes you*
Voided Fox's Lap 3 run on War is quite possibly the most impressive thing I've seen in gaming. Literally 0 and a half seconds to spare, no seconds are able to be wasted on War while doing 3 laps
First lap: your racing the clock and currently losing. Get out. Second lap: this isn't the first rodeo, you've got this. Third lap: the clock is racing you and currently the clock is losing.
If lap 3 ever exists. It should have constant showtime active. And beating all levels on lap 3 s rank should get an extra % and a bonus approved sticker by pizza face himself
Nah, replace the golden John with either Pizzaface frowning or Pizzahead. And if you get 102% like this in under 5 hours you get the "Tower Master" judgement.
My friend told me the 1:15 sample sounds like someone saying "Eat the pizza" spliced up, which is now all I'm gonna be able to think of when I hear it from now on, even in Danganronpa.
Lap 1: Your running from something you don’t entirely understand. Lap 2: Death brings in the extra forces and takes you seriously. Lap 3: Death’s fed up and comes down there and will personally serve your buttocks on a silver platter.
This is incredible. How did you manage to make something that sounds so authentic to the original game? The sample choices are perfect and the music fits the scenario perfectly. I'm just so baffled.
I find the polarization between Laps 1 + 2 and Lap 3 charming. Lap 1 has you make a mad dash to the exit, stumbling every which way as the theme inspires you to get out, GET OUT!!! Lap 2 is less chaotic and more "you've been through this once, you can do it again. You're smarter now.", and it compels you to keep running to preserve that P Rank. Both of them sound heroic in their composition. There's nothing heroic about Lap 3. You could have stopped at Lap 2 and left your P Rank safe and sound, but you got greedy and entered the lap portal again. You flew too close to the sun, and the sun is going to make you regret it. It's hectic, panicked scrambling throughout the level as the mechanical equivalent of Death steadily hovers towards you, ignoring anything and everything just to ensure your demise. In the end, you only escape by the skin of your teeth. And let's be real... _you'll do it all again._
If lap 2 was daring to fly close to the sun, this is essentially punching death in the face and trying to get away with it
No. It's punching it in the face and then TRULY getting away with it since your finger is basically glued to that sprint key. You are a living train that cannot be stopped, and the enemies are about to see it for the third time!

very accurate, i nearly had a heart attack when i got a p rank on oregano desert and john gutter, on top of getting lap three in pizzascpae
I like how Noise's equivalent is breaking out of the TV in excitement to see of you can beat the challenge.
If lap 1 is initial panic, and lap 2 is adrenaline, lap 3 is pure anger. you already got the p rank. you already proved yourself worthy, but no you had to go back for a third to flex. itd be amazing if a third lap was available once you reached already had a p rank active before exiting.
Normally Pizzaface only barely catches up to you if you're walking, maybe Pizzaface would be so fast that at minimum you need to be running at Mach 2 to outrun him
@@Real_RUBB3R bro gaslighting the tower
@@Real_RUBB3R that's not really true, as it is with the current lap 3 mod there's some levels that are actually impossible. pizzaface going faster doesn't add any more challenge in any of the levels except maybe DMAS. it's either possible or it's not, because generally you have to be perfect with the level most of the time to beat lap 3 anyway
either way i feel like forcing a whole new route would be kind of dumb. it's much more work for the developer, and any muscle memory learned from the original level is now useless in that lap.

Pizza face is tired of your shit and instead of waiting the timer, he made it go zero and litteraly said "You cant escape from the death you deservioli"
someone said "you cannoli run so far/fast"
I love this so much, you perfectly nailed the Pizza Tower vibe and the idea supporting the tune fits really well!
I love this so much because it so perfectly fits in with Pizza Time and The Death I Deservioli
It's Pizza Time begins with a slow realization that quickly turns into bombastic panic as you try to escape a level that feels like it's falling apart around you, still holding on to the fear and anxiety that must be rushing through Peppino's mind.
Peppino at this point has clearly turned the crumbling level out, he has to as pizza face is right on his heels and slowly encroaching, from the point on he's not himself, he wizzes by Gustavo pointing him to the exit (Albeit annoyed he passed it)
Peppino was in trouble. He had no remorse for any enemy. Running and running, until, (*bonk*)
"Oh yes! I-a made it!"
Lap 3 is just telling you to GET THE F*** OUT OF HERE!
Lap 3 is Death having enough of you and pulling out the big guns

Edit: honestly tour de pizza should have this added as guest work for a future update of the game if they ever allow multiple lap runs again! This really deserves the spot imo
the little detail of pizza face's laugh being a part of the harmony is a great touch
I think a great way to implement a Lap 3 is make it only accessible if you had P rank earlier in the level but lost it during Lap 2, and finishing Lap 3 will automatically give you your P rank back. So if you lose your P rank in Lap 2 you have two options:
Accept your loss and try again
OR
Tempt fate to restore your glory
I think this would make Lap 3 feel important while also not making it required for 100%. Because avoiding Pizza Face for a whole level is SIGNIFICANTLY harder than anything else this game could throw at you.

Unlike the other two songs, this one gives off "what have you done?" vibes.
coming back to this about a year and a half later and i find it amazing how the community collectively decided on this being the official lap 3 theme despite it being fanmade. whenever someone makes a lap mod for the game, there's a 99.9% chance it uses pillar john's revenge as the lap 3 theme. whenever someone makes a lap 3 theme for some kind of peppino variation/iteration, they remix pillar john's revenge (case in point: pinolino and fake peppino). even with the noise update out now, i've heard a few lap 3 themes for the guy that feature at least 1 PJR motif somewhere in them.

I could imagine a lap 3 being implemented through P ranking a level for the first time, unlocking a third lap portal giving the player an extra minute to complete the entire thing again. would be interesting if you also need to achieve at least an S rank during the level for the portal to become available.
I’d think it’d be a neat redemption mechanic. If you can’t keep a combo, you might as-well keep yourself alive.
@@PleasantLemonso by entering lap 3, it restores your highest combo at the cost of GOOD LUCK GETTING TO THE END WITH THE TIME YOH HAVE LEFT!

No Tha Point of the Lap 3 concept here is Pizzaface immedatly chases after you from the start regardless of time left from Lap 2. So its basically about attemping one more lap while Pizzaface chases you throughout the level.
Bro being chased by the monsters in Grace goes hard with this theme
Lap 1: "Start running, kid"

Lap 3: "you demanded for a showtime, SO YOU BETTER DAMN WELL PUT ON A GOOD ONE"

I imagine this as the lap 2 song for the crumbling tower of pizza, making the now broken pizzaface appear and chase you one last time,as parts of the tower fall from the very top to the damaged floor, even to the entrance, and now that the tower's whole supply of enemies is gone,it desesperatedly spawns tons and tons of cardboard cutouts to stop you on your way to the exit
And if you're wondering, yes, the timer will reset, but with less time

After the escape completes, pizzahead is now actually dead, since unlike the normal ending he didn’t escape the tower before it collapsed, getting caught on rubble from the boss 4 arena’s peppino sign saying”nothing compares!”before the rest of the tower collapses in on him.

Absolutely fantastic, feels like it came straight from the games unused tracks.
lap -3 tho?
The Death That I Deservioli was very "Oh shit, you're going for it!". This one is very much "Why are you tormenting yourself like this!?"

Remember when you could do an infinite number of laps in Eggplant Build? This is the perfect track for just that.
Pizzaface's biggest regretti...
Was daring to challenge Peppino Spaghetti.
