Nice trip no fish , bummer , and I wish we had club that’s helped clean the trails . I like how you cooked the bacon and eggs . And ya look forward to next trip , see if the kayak is ready by then , cheers
@@OutdoorWarrior I remember becoming your friend and I was behind ya , now it flipped . Crazy what 10 months does . Look forward to more shows from ya , God Bless
@@OutdoorWarrior no idea what that statement means lol 😂 but ya I know you will go , you would of been way up there but took 10 months off. .and I’m sure had reasons why . But ya push those shows out . I love your content 😀
Nice ATV camping trip dude. The cot tent is a really cool idea for places you can't setup a tent like you mentioned. Food was delicious and to bad you didn't get a fish. Looking forward to the next one 👍🔥
Thanks for watching bud! I highly recommend the cot tent for ATV camping.. It's a simple setup to. When I build a lean to shelter in the fall I won't worry about a bad back because I am staying overnight in it lol.. As for the food I got the idea of taking rice from your videos. I must say rice is great for comping and it's much better on the stomach. I think the next camping trip I am going to try and make some burgers 🍔. You and Maritimer has me drooling watching you guys make them..🤤 lol..
Nice quad camping trip bud. I love the Cot Tent. I have thought about buying this same one. I know the feeling about having a ruff nights sleep. My sleeping pad popped on a backpacking trip and I slept on the ground for 3 nights. Man that was ruff. Awesome looking food and good to see you out again. I look forward to the next one.
Ya its definitely rough staying on the ground for a few nights. The down fall of a cot tent is that it's big to take around so you will need am ATV trailer but for sleeping in I found it really good.
Awesome trip buddy ! Finally had a night from work to watch it . Love to ride that rail bed someday , it looks so interesting and a great way to see the rock.
Thanks for watching bud! Yes it's totally a great way to see the island. The Nova Scotia ferry comes into my hometown in Argentia, Placentia and about 3 mins from the ferry terminal the Railbed starts. I haven't been past Long Harbour yet but me and my fiance are planning on heading as far as Gander this year. So I will have alot of footage for you to see in August. It will be a 5 day trip. I am praying that there will be no rain that week lol. If it's raining I can't do it.
@@OutdoorWarrior very nice trip planned indeed , can’t wait to see it. I won’t make it over till I move back to NS from SK sadly, but it’s on my list to do when I do.
awesome overnighter like your tent setup. our rail bed out this way was falling down with some tree cuttings and ditch work it's in awesome shape. i donate a few $ each year and it even gets graded once a year. now look for your kayak trip.
Thanks bud. Ya it good to help support local causes! Yes I can't wait to get out myself. I am waiting for my trailer to be welded up. My father is bringing it up today to his buddy so I'd say next weekend or the weekend after it will be ready to go.
Hey there! Really enjoyed your video, great set up there for sure! Yes that cot tent is definitely a game changer! I also Atv, an don’t mind hauling a trailer so something like that would work good for me for sure! Atv camping has been something I’ve wanted to do for quite awhile, but just never have yet! Great to hear about the volunteers with the trail maintenance, atving in Newfoundland is definitely on my bucket list! Anyways thanks for taking us along for the ride! Cheers and take care!
thank you so much. Ya the cot tent is great for sure. If I didn't have the back seat put on my ATV the cot tent would of fit in the back rack. Actually it can fit in the front rack also but I figured it would be easier to take a trailer with me. Newfoundland is a great place for outdoor enthusiast and its the only province in Canada that you can ride across on ATV. You can catch the ferry from Nova Scotia to Argentia, Placentia and ride right across the island with an ATV to Port Aux Basque and catch the ferry from there back to Nova Scotia. They also allow people to ride their ATV on the ferry so you can park your truck or car in Nova Scotia.
@@OutdoorWarrior good to know on the cot placement on the wheeler, I was wondering perhaps if it could have fit on the bike. Good to know 👍. Yes atving across Newfoundland is something I’d love to do! I follow @eastcoastatv and have watched a lot of his videos on crossing the island and that is just something definitely I would love to do.. I’m not to far away, just located in Fredericton area of NB so not to long a drive to head to the ferry, yes an noticed that you can drive wheeler right on the ferry! How cool is that!?! Definitely a dream trip someday! Anyways thanks for the great vids, really glad that I found your channel! Your definitely doing a great job and the hard work your putting in definitely doesn’t go unnoticed! Cheers and take care!
Go with a Hennessy Hammock, unless you prefer to be a ground dweller. ? 🤔 its only 3 pounds, and no trouble to set up in our woods. 👍 that lure is better for trolling behind the kayak than casting from shore.
I may try those hammocks in the future. You are correct it's better to troll with the brown trout Rapala then casting from shore. A friend of mine said he caught a few from shore with it but I never had any success other then trolling.
@@OutdoorWarrior you won't be disappointed. I have the jungle explorer asymmetrical zip. Deadly ole spot to spend a night. You can lay down pretty flat and flip over easily to the other side.
Thanks Mike. I will do a short little review video of my trailer when a friend of mine welds it up. I will also be showing how I am going to mount my kayak to the trailer also.
Did the Kamp Rite come with a rain fly. Next time your camping on a cold night, put the rain fly on. Adds a second layer to hold in the heat. Thanks for a great video.

Do u eat something else besides bacon?
Nice campout! Is there alot of room in the cot? Does it hold up in the rain?
Lots of room. It was very comfortable 😊
Good video but for the fact that you burned the holy hell out of those poor pieces of beef.
