Personally I like the interior of the X (yung new, not the base one) so I would go with that, however if it was a family decision my wife will probably decide to go with the BR-V VX

You're right. For top-of-the-line variant, it shouldn't be just plastic. Could've been leather finish for some premium feels. We're not just talking about 5 or 6 digits money here.
I don’t think we should keep saying “that (plastics) should be expected for this price point” coz there have been brands that are doing way more at this price point (like Cherry, Hyundai).

Hello. The innova is actually pretty good as well.. its probably quicker and the ride will be better vs the brv. However if your heart tells you the br-v is the one for you then I'd go with that. I would go with the car that you imagine yourself in or the car you imagine to be parked in your driveway. Both are safe and solid choices. Hope that helps.
Also, I think BR-V is no longer the strongest engine, madami na kasing chinese MPVs with the same price example is GAC GN6. Isa kasi yun sa choices ko and malayo ang power difference nila

Yep! mga around 9-10 On city and mga 14-16 Km/L for mixed pero it can get up tp 24Km/L na medyo super ECO mode ka na.

Grabe hirap ng parking sa intramuros last visita. I also brought my BR-V, pinatulan tuloy namin P100 parking just for a few minutes

Totoo, dapat top of the line naka disc brake na harap likod, naka digital cluster, naka 360 cam. Kahit manual hand break ok na ako doon.
Nakakapang hinayang lang na parang tinipid ni Honda. Pero ito parin first car niya, di nya kasi gusto itsura ni Stargazer 😂
