Wisam, thank you so much for this video. It is very comprehensive and easy to understand now. Sometimes content creators leave out many steps. You may have a longer video, but it answers ALL of the questions I have had. Thanks!
thank you for your information my friend I have not even mess with it I was going to do some more testing and cut but I will definitely try between 9 to 14 thank you again
@@wisamyousif14 Yes Sir, I spent almost an entire day testing and found that over 14 or 15, depending on material, causes significant loss to the vaporization affect.
Great tutorial! I'm 2 years late to the party but are you still using this setup? I was considering doing the same as I didn't want the compressor running all the time so having the small air pump running for engraving and only use the compressor for cutting seems like a good idea. Any negative effects on the air pump with the high back pressure from the compressor? Are you still using the 10gallon compressor or have you upgraded to a larger machine? I'm getting an AF2080-80w and don't know if the 1hp 10gal is enough of a compressor for that machine, any thoughts on compressor size?
Great video man. So I bought a 26 gallon 175 PSI compressor yesterday and it has a regulator. So I wouldn't need another regulator right? But Im trying to figure out how to make lightburn start and stop the air assist from it....would I still need a Solenoid?
You don't need the regular if you have a regular but you will need to have an solenoid to be hooked up to cut the air coming out from the air compressor only if you're cutting to be used from light burn you can watch the whole video again to understand better And to be honest you don't need 175 psi I only use about 25 PSI
@@wisamyousif14 Thank you. I have a furniture making business and been needing a new brad nailer so went ahead and got a big compressor. It has two outlets, one will be for the laser the other for air tools. :)
@@RonMarshallrone and I do recommend you to keep the compressor that came with the machine, do a v split and enter the other line coming from your air compressor to the machine too, do not disconnect the old small air compressor that came with the machine, that's way so if you're engraving you will always have air preventing smoke and dirt going into the lens and of course when you cut you're going to have both of them Air going into the lens to help your cutting
Hi friend. Ivé been watching some of your videos. I taking a loog on this 130W laser machine. I will mostly cut DM (MDF) of about 12mm and Acrylic of from 3 to 15/20mm. Does this machines works for it? Thanks
Hello my friend, how do you find the 8gal size? Can you do a piece without the compressor constantly turning on and off? Or how long does the 8gal of air last you?
To be honest it does not lost a lot but it won't matter due to it is quiet air compressor you barely hear it but it does keep up with what I'm cutting it turns on and it tanks fell up turns off after 2 minutes it turns back on to do the same thing for like a half minutes until it fills up That's why I do what I command always getting a quiet air compressor if you can get something with a bigger tank better but this more room
Best air assist upgrade video on UA-cam
Thank you for the kind words

Wow, your video is awesome. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for going through the details and share your knowledge with all of us.
Anytime friend if you need any help anytime let me know
I also have the smaller CAT compressor Wisam, and I found anything over 14psi made it harder to cut. I stick to 9-14psi.

You'll still need the solenoid, that allows the controller to open and close the air flow.

When I added a 50L air assist to my k40 laser It turns on and off by itself, what is the SOLUTION please 🥺
I'm sorry my friend I don't understand the question what do you mean what turns on and off by itself
