Ah… my hometown. Thanks for covering it. Arizona really is a cool state. I don’t recommend people visit in the Summer, but our winters are amazing.

      What is winter weather like?

    • @iamlimitless7543

@@Docrine682 70 to 80 degrees during the day, but it can get a bit nippy at night because of the desert dynamic. it's crowded as well during the winter because of the snowbirds.

Amazing for being the 5th largest U.S. city it’s not a travel destination. It has blazing hot summers, nice fall thru Spring, clean, has light rail, all major sports: NFL, NBA, & MLB with Cactus League Spring training, even Nascar, Golf capital, with Waste Management Golf Tournament known as the Phoenix Open, Tempe Town Lake, Casinos, the Salt River, Westgate entertainment area where the NFL’s Cardinals & NHL’s Coyotes has stadiums with shops, dinning, a casino, & more, a children’s museum, & resrots. Has hosted the Super Bowl multiple times. ASU is the #1 most innovated college in the Country. Also, the Mayo Clinic has 2 locations the smaller in Scottsdale, & the main hospital is less then 30 minutes from downtown Phoenix. Yet, no major water park or theme park. I get that it has 110+ temps, within a desert, spread out, the county Phoenix is in called Maricopa is made up of 27 cities & towns. Yet, a city as Vegas is not half the size has more entertainment. As does Orlando. Hot weather, palm trees, clean, pool weather & has not over decades had anyone or even the state getting much more entertainment, theme parks, waterparks, & more. Residents & even Jeff who makes this channel & his Living in Arizona now channel agrees. Especially a major water park would bring massive people & money. I get that the housing market is nuts right now. Yet, majority of people are not leaving Phoenix. The famous quite from Field of Dreams movie staring Kevin Costner “build it & they will come.” That is so true. Love this city. Yet, it should be a tourist city for millions locally & visitors. It has the right ingredients of a city. Yes, there is water shortage like Vegas but not in decades or since it became the 5th largest city passing Philadelphia. Not to take anything the wrong way. Love many aspects of this city. I love heat & dry weather. The reasons have never been mentioned to why much more has not been done not just with entertainment.

In Phoenix, the South Mountain is one of the largest urban parks in North America and the world.

Best thing I enjoyed about Phoenix was accessibility(despite the temperatures). You can literally take the light rail or bus from the international airport to downtown in less than an hour. Efficiency only second to my trip to Berlin. Not to mention, the food is the best! I prefer to stay near Central City because it's cheaper and minutes away from downtown by bus. Plus the property I stay in *has a pool.* Also,Tuscon (visited recently) thankfully, has far less construction, but a limited light rail service area. But Phoenix is by far my favorite city to visit.

In the beginning you showed a hotel with the Compass Arizona Restaurant, the only revolving restaurant in the area. You should try it sometime.

Yes, you can take the light rail from downtown Phoenix to Tempe and beyond to Mesa going east, goes right through both downtowns. They are building a pedestrian bridge across Central to connect the two sides of CityScape (shopping/dining) in addition to light rail construction. Glad you got to see the Chihuly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Garden! Have a great weekend!

It's the mirage of value. You're moving into a hispanic mania of irrational emotions and religious zeal. As time passes, the local population will begin resembling a more africanized version of the philippines, but with an underbelly ruled by the italian mob. If you value your caucasian heritage, I suggest other regions of Arizona. North is probably better. It's not even all that scenic. It's basically raw, unfarmable desert from Phoenix southward. It's flat and good for building on. Few people that have been raised here can argue that this city isn't a thief. The ones who can, are probably thieves. It's primary export is copper. The least precious metal. The mirage of value...

I’ve lived in Phoenix for 3 years and Tempe for 2 and it’s funny to see you explore the area. Wouldn’t say May is prime visiting time as it’s already hot as hell but glad you came to visit.
I wouldn’t say the urban areas in downtown Phoenix or Tempe are that worth it really. Tempe town lake is cool and ASU campus is nice but Mill Ave sucks. Arcadia, North Phoenix, Scottsdale, and South Mountain are areas that provide a lot more cool nature and beauty.
