Glad you guys enjoyed the coffee and breakfast! A good friend of mine owns Jojo Coffeehouse and he’ll be thrilled when I let him know you guys gave them a 10 out of 10!
Thank you so much, @JeanieMarie, for the honest review of the restaurant. I’ve taken reviews before from others and have been so disappointed and wondered why it was given a high review. Your honesty is refreshing and makes for better experiences for those who follow you. 😊
I’m from New Mexico and Scottsdale is my all time favorite vacation. Thanks for a good video and honest reviews! Definitely saw some places I wanna try in September’24! The self driving cars are Waymo and they are really cool and fun to use. My gf and I were hesitant but decided to try anyway and we felt safe and had fun. Hopefully we get to see more videos on Scottsdale from y’all! Thank guys!
Good to see you and Vince back online! Having lived in Scottsdale, and having dined at Barrio Queen, I agree with your review of the food - just average.
Hello Jeanie and Vince! Thank you very much for sharing this video. I really really enjoy exploring Arizona. I fly my boss to Phoenix multiple times per year. So, it is pretty frequently that I fine myself in Scottsdale. Ironically, on every trip, I usually try to ask 1 or 2 locals where I can go explore in the greater Phoenix area that is a walking area like downtown Scottsdale. They usually do not have an answer. OMG...on my last Phoenix trip a few months ago, I walked right by JoJo's to go to the Starbucks just to the south. I will correct that the next time. On every trip down there, I try to knock out a new hike. I love the hikes there in the greater Phoenix area. Despite being a big metro area, I never feel crowded on the trail there. I am coming to Phoenix around 21 January for a few nights. I am looking forward to it, as always. And, I'll be back for my annual work training in early March. So....I was able to squeak my travel trailer into Ouray this last Saturday so as to get it ready to go boondocking in the Paradox Valley of Colorado. And now, winter has struck. We keep getting storm after storm and I'm not able to get my camper out of my drive way (the drawback to living on the 2nd steepest street in town :-( So...hopefully tomorrow, there is a window to get out of here with my dog. We just use the trailer as a base camp for day hikes in the greater area. Have an awesome week!
So glad you can make it to Phoenix a few times a year... I know there are so many places to explore around Phonoix... and Scottsdale is definitely a good spot to see. We really enjoyed it. Definitely check out JoJos ... the coffee flight and cinnamon roll Pancakes are delicious. Safe travels and stay warm! I saw winter has officially hit in CO!
DBG has great events year round worth checking out. They’re also host of the annual Devour event. Tickets typically go on sale around October for the February event and sell out every year! Totally worth it.
We’ve been to Jojo’s. Great place but can be very pricey $$$. We’ve been to Scottsdale several times. We’re from Tucson too. Thanks for taking me to places I haven’t been or even heard of. We’ll be there next week for our anniversary but we’re staying up north near Kierland Commons area. Another great shopping area. 😊 Been watching your channel recently. Just became a subscriber.
Next time you visit, I highly recommend these restaurants for Mexican far: The Beach House on Camelback for lunch or dinner, Dick's Hideaway, Otro, Mission in Old Town, Taco Chelo in Downtown PHX (try the vegetable taco, so good). Hope this helps! Great video, btw.
Hey, u cover most of nice n my fav things in Phx. If u r phx resident, then u can order a desert botanical garden n many other places for free for 2 ppl. U should visit waterfront light festival ..its beautiful n happening!
Thanks for such a great video. I am looking to visit from the UK and was wondering if the hikes doable in early June? I heard it may be too hot? Thanks
@@JeanieMarie I know the feeling about that unless it’s Fri/Saturday nights then I’m working all night learning about the valley and meeting people all night long

Very nice. I'm in New England and ready to retire. Just added this to the bucket list for my GF & I. Thanks for a nice overview!
Hi Jeanie Marie. Nice video. I like the part that you were walking where the catis was. I like the sandals you wore, I wanna say birkenstocks.

Love your channel!

I miss El Charro in Tucson…..I’m wondering if they have one in Scottsdale or similar.

When we visited Arizona in sept of 23 we were completely shocked by the self driving cars . We are from SC and there isn’t anything like that here
Right?! We've never seen them before in our life! Nothing like that in Tucson!
Driverless Waymo is very very common in phx...experienced it lot of time. Tuscon n Sedona has lot of authentic mexican restaurants!
what's the name of the scenic view where your standing looking at those three huge red rock mountains?
Wow, you need to be careful in this park 😊
Yes, you can get poked very easily :)
Which ones do you recommend in Tucson ?
My childhood home 😢
Chompie’s is a great place to eat in Scottsdale.
Seems like a nice place to live.
Yes it’s for the rich. Very expensive place
Seen in Kinross, Scotland. 🏴🏴🏴. What's the weather like there???
Awesome! We love Scotland! One of our favorite countries we've ever been to! Currently, it's Sunny and 50 degrees! :) Thanks for watching!
Wow so pretty
Downtown chandler and Gilbert are also great for night life.
Good to know! Nightlife always sounds fun until 9pm rolls around and then I'm ready for bed 😆

We ate at Barrio Queen last year and wasn't impressed.
Can you Uber from Phoenix ? I don’t have a car and i will be visiting Phoenix ? Thank you
Boring 😂
