Hey Tim, that nitrous bottle should be turned so the line is straight down. there’s a siphon tube in it that hits the bottom corner of the bottle parallel with the outlet.

Tim just remember that the tuneing you are doing now is going to be WAY WAY different in Warmer weather and also what State you are racing in. Everything is going to change BUT at least you have a baseline where to start from tuneing is a lot of work and time.

I race to I have a 1985 S10 truck it runs 621 in the 1/8 with a 150 shot on Motor 650 it has a 383 stroker i really enjoyed this video be safe

The best thing you can do. Is get a Chass of starting flute to check for air leaks. on your Moter. If you have a air leak when you hit the Nitrous you can burn your car down to the ground. Start it up and spray around the Moter if it starts to rev up you have a air leak!
I have seen way too many nitrous backfires throughout all my years of racing, it's literally a bomb in the intake manifold. I personally hate nitrous, I will stick with twin screw superchargers and turbos. I have burst panels on the intake manifolds in all of my vehicles with forced induction.

What a great family time! I was wondering, did you rent the track by yourself or was it a test and tune for the public? I’ve heard of guys ( renting the track) an was wondering how much it cost? It’s been a long time since I’ve raced and I really don’t wanna go when the track is open. Thanks for any info you might want to share.
