In South Africa, we have a DOT CONCEPT - which is Do One Thing every day to impact a life - smile at a stranger, feed a homeless person, bless a child, do something practical and non-expensive to DOT every day. So I would make these wonderful dot mats and hand them out to random people and encourage them to keep the concept going ... love your show!

I was telling Brian today I was overthinking my editing because a few people said I talk too much, and I found I was feeling like I had to keep editing, it took me HOURS. I have to stop that! Please, please never stop talking! It is one of the main reasons I love coming here. It is like being a part of a sewing circle. Finding your channel inspired me to suggest to a couple of my crafty friends in our small group of retired school librarian to have a bring-your-own-project crafting session after our monthly luncheons. They thought it was a great idea so we have our first one next week!! I even found a large bundle of beading and cross stitch kits for $2 at a thrift store for the crafting-curious in the group. I am also planning on sharing your channel with everyone. I have done needwork all my life although I have difficulty with my left thumb now so it is harder for me. A hoop really helps. I'm hoping I can get some things prepared for them for the next month so we can all do some slow stitching. 😊

Well, the bots at UA-cam finally got it right when they recommend your videos on my feed page! It is SO lovely to have found you. I have recently been drawn (back) to "earthtones" more and more - quite a departure from my usual bright pinks, teals, cobalts... A friend shared that these are "grounding" colours. Considering the chaos in the world of late, "grounding" ~ alongside balance and peaceful escape ~ seem to be exactly what we need. Thank you for providing the inspiration for us. I tend to envision grandiose projects that I have no time to finish, or even start for that matter. These wee squares and little circles are portable and "finish-able" which is perfect, because who wants to start something they are convinced they can't finish? As for the folks who feel compelled to say you talk too much, I have a few thoughts. In the interest of being charitable, I offer them these thoughts: 1.) There is a mute button. If you need sound but you only care about learning specific techniques, you have the option of scrolling past the *friendly human interaction* parts and just watching the information you want. 2.) If you possess enough hubris to sit and complain about someone who is sharing inspiration and education *free of charge*, then one can only surmise that you also possess an equal amount of expertise in the subject. In that case, perhaps your time would be better spent producing and sharing *your own video content* rather than trampling our collective enjoyment.

I actually saw your comment this morning and fell in love with it and so I wanted to keep it where I could easily find it again, which is right here in my unanswered comments. LOL I've copy pasted it now... The grounding color thing makes so much sense to me and is when I need peace and serenity I choose these colors. When I am feeling excited I tend towards the brights. Interesting! The second part of your comment is wonderful and I will use it next time someone says i talk too much, LOL And FYI, I've been trying to TimeStamp my videos so yes, people can fast forward to the right spot. I love your wall hanging (?) or whatever you may end up doing. I adore circles and want to do this so much, but I still have some quilts to finish for my children as I am 78 and who knows, right? These circles and the quilt blocks you have already made are such an inspiring way to honor your mother. I made a quilt for my youngest son from the cotton clothes he loved when he was 11-12 years (he's 46 now). It was a struggle , but worth it! I started embroidering when I was 16, later I added sewing for my daughter, son and myself along with home projects. When I started working, I began cross stitch and eventually developed carpal tunnel and tennis elbow, so I gave up cross stitch since I needed my wrists for my job! I took up quilting and gardening and really gardened and did many home projects more than anything. NOW ..... I'm tired and the plants look terrible, but I must prioritize and make sure all my children (3) have at least one quilt especially for them. At least you started your projects a little sooner than I and will be able to enjoy them for many years. Love your creativity!
I dont usually comment,your vlog came up randomly on my feed. I love your dot a day. I was in a town with quite a few charity shops ( england). I can't explain why but i was drawn to a box at the back with the most beautiful napkins, tray cloths, embroidered table cloth ect. I know it will seem so wrong to cut them up,but at least they are being re used and loved again. Wish me luck,and thank you for taking the time to make the vlog.

I've been sewing for years but I'd never heard of invisible basting, I love it! (old dog learning new trick :). Can't wait to start my Dot A Day. ( I'm a quilter and have enough scraps to cover the state of Texas). Ha. Great instructions!

Thanks Jeri, I'm lucky enough to be going on an overseas holiday next week. For my crafts I've decided to take my cloth twine basketing, sock knitting, and dot stitching! It's going to be perfectly portable. I'm also a subscriber of k3n. I love how this community intersects 🥰
Wow! You covered a lot in this video. What great information. I love that you showed how you embellished all the dots Wish I had thought of using the invisible basting stitch. Then it can be left in. I will do that from now on. So - I want to make mine into a quilt eventually. What do you think of adding batting before embellishing? Then when the backing is added I would just add some straight quilting next to the joined blocks. The other option is just make all the squares and join them and then add batting and backing as if it was a traditionally pieced quilt. I would appreciate your thoughts. I would embellish them first with the idea that I was going to do some additional quilting. So the dots themselves would have stitching on them but leave around them for the quilting later. (If you wanted to leave the very center of the dot without embellishment and do a tie thing in there to make sure the dots were secured down, but that would just be a matter of choice) I'm kinda working all this out with my moms quilt blocks. I'm quilting as I go but often embellishing the top first if that makes sense. Check out that video I think i put a link in this dot video to her quilt. ♥️

I first started stalking your videos ...lol....because you work in neutrals for many things. bright wonderful things too!! but this. this is my favorite project!! I want to do crazy patches and bracelets and meditation roll and a stitch 'book'....but swept the sewing table clean to start on dots. Oh my!! thanks for these. thanks for the blah blah parts too. I pray your throat/voice/challenge won't hinder coming to visit with all of us a lot longer!!

I just love these! Thank you for sharing all those wonderful embellishments. They are beautiful. These little blocks and dots are exactly what I would enjoy doing. I am an oil painter but I also love quilting and like to have some handwork going on the side. This will definitely be something I will be trying soon. Hi Jeri, how are you treating the dots that you don’t turn over the edges, ragged edges? I’ve tried turning them over but I found it too fiddly so going with frayed/ragged edges instead for my dots. Btw…. HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂
Just stitch them close to the edge, it works fine because a circle is mostly on the bias. You'll have a little fraying on the edge but I love that. It's going to look amazing! 💜
k3n’s slow stitch project this week is based partially on your Dot-A-Day work. And Alex Anderson mentioned on her live show today that she’s using your Dot-A-Day to learn needle turn appliqué. Although Alex has been a professional quilter for many years, she has never done needle turn appliqué. It really is a small world. I came here to watch your Dot-A-Day videos so that I can do a better job on my k3n project this week. I’ve already watched part one, and I’m writing this comments as I watch part two.

Hello from California, Jeri🤚🏻 I really enjoyed watching part 1 and 2 of this video! I am absolutely inspired, thank you! My question is, have you washed hand stitched projects? I would think the tighter the stitching, the better. I would love to sprinkle a few stitched blocks in to quilts. 🤔
I typically don't wash my hand stitched stuff, not because I'm against it, I'm not, just because they seem to not need it. I might air fluff something in the dryer if I thought it was dusty or leave it outside to get some air. A quilt is another story, I do wash those in the machine, and maybe not everyone would do that. On gentle cycle and tumber dry for 5 minutes then air dry. 💜 PS I'm making another bag with quilting stitches on it!

Anyway, thanks for this dot podcast, I’m so enthusiastic about trying it. I mostly knit, but have gotten back into sewing and have been collecting some vintage pieces to make a scrappy quilt. So I have a question. You said on this podcast if you were making a quilt out of the dots you wouldn’t put embroidery 😅on the back of them? Okay, but what are you making with them? A blanket with just a light backing? Hope this makes sense. Am looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thanks in advance. Chris
Let me explain but first... GLAD YOU ARE HERE! I love when someone tells someone else and someone else and... So I am NOT making a quilt, I was saving my soul. I was deep in "I don't know what I'm doing, I'm too old" mode and wasn't creating all that much, found Jude Hill and she loves circles and one thing leads to another, The dots were born. So if you want to make a quilt, my thought is to embroider the actual dot and around the dot and not on the background of the square cloth. Is this the only way to go about this, heck NO. But it's the way I would do it. Put all the squares together, then layer with batt if you want then the backing then quilt it. I hope this made sense. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for subbing and sharing!
Hi Jeri, I have just watched the two parts of your Dot a Day, a number of times. I am truly inspired. I plan to make a number of prepared squares and dots to the cottage this summer to work on. I will have to learn how to do the embroidery part, since that is a new craft for me. I am a quilter, knitter, spinner, weaver, etc. but not perfect at anything. I love how you encourage to just do. I am wondering how you will finish off all of your 300+ squares together?
Use ANY needle that is thin with a decent hole. Do not stress yourself out! I saw the jeanna needles on amazon but forget about it... And I have NO idea where the DMC thread came from, again, use what you have! I swear it will be great! I only told what I use because people ask. I want to do these as a mixed media card topper!I had bits of fabric to my paper cards and pictures, people seem to really like receiving them, Also hoping to add a bit of batting or fluff under the dots for baby guilts etc.. Think they will really be cute especially if you use different texture of dots, baby will love touching the different “ feels” of it🤗!!!
Hi I Jeri! My name is Loretta. I found your dot per day video on UA-cam yesterday. I’ve got a stack of wool squares that I bought from Moda. Today while watching the second dot video I heard you talk about the needle roll that you made. I think that I’ll make one. The needle book that I made doesn’t suit my needs (even though I love the fabric that I made it from.)

Found more fabric to recycle and it’s already washed, but the thickness varies. Some of it is a bit thicker than average quilting cotton and some thinner. Do you think it will cause problems when I join the squares? I like the look of your square gallery and am going to try for a similar look. I know that I won’t get an identical look because I am using different fabrics. For your dots you have used some brown fabrics and black thread. Did you use black fabrics as well? I can’t tell the difference between black and dark brown on my screen. Thanks for these great tutorials.
I have used a little black but it's mostly patterned. And sometimes I use the wrong side of the fabric so it could look off. if you are watching on a computer try lightening your screen. I always forget to do that and it works great. My fabrics are a mixture too, lightweight and medium. I wouldn't use anything that too heavy though, I think it would just be too stiff. And when you get a bunch of squares done you can lay them out so that they are balanced by weight. I hope this helps.. thanks so much for watching! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

When I needle turn appliqué I use a wooden toothpick to turn the fabric under the wooden tooth pick clings to the fabric so much better and make it easier to turn the fabric under. Greetings from New Zealand.

There is no backing at this stage, you can add a backing depending on what you will do with them. I'm going to talk more about this tonight on my new YT video. ❤️

I am so looking forward to starting my Dot-A-Day. Now to figure out what colors of scraps to use and do I want to go all wild and mix colors or do a color theme. Decisions decisions. I find that while using two strands of floss or thread, I use a used dryer sheet and pull my threads through a fold used dryer sheet. It conditions the thread, reduces static, and smooths things out. I learned this from a doll maker who embroidered faces on her dolls
You sure can! That's the way I used to do circles, I would press them around a piece of plastic template or cardboard and also I did a running stitch and pulled them. Whatever works for you! ❤️ Thank you for being here!

@@JeriBellini I am in the same boat as Joan--and sewing and painting are the only things that ease my depression--it is kind of like magic, but I do stop doing it sometimes, then it's hard to get started again. Sometimes I have to set a timer for 30 minutes and "make" myself paint or sew, and that helps. I agree with Joan, Jeri, I love listening to you and you explain things so well, I think I am finally going to try to tackle applique!! Circles will be the exact right thing to start with. Loving your idea! I've begun to make the circles and squares, a little bit differently but I’m enjoying how they’re turning out! Yes, I am worried about my time too! That's why I would like help. But it would be so amazing! Purple is not my favorite color, but it gives me my favorite memory, The Tiny Beach House. So sometimes I will buy purple things, especially for my PA house to keep me in the beach groove. My fav color is and has always been yellow. (Yellow car etc) I go in and out of other colors, but Yellow brings a big smile to my face. YEARS ago when I was working full time, mondays were a bust so I made up a story "Happy Yellow Monday" and me and Brian had to wear yellow to remind us to be happy in spite of going off to work. Long story! LOL ❤️

When you did the running stitch on the edge (min 38) did you still do the invisible appliqué? (I'm doing running stitch for my appliqué stitch on a project of mine.)
@@JeriBellini just to make sure I understand, not all of your circles are getting applied like the yellow one that you used to teach hand appliqué. (Just curious, I like to know the whys - the sidetracks & the errata more than the hows.)
@@AvivaHadas I did use some of my moms tee shirts and those I just cut no hem. I have stitched down ragged edge circles too. ANYTHING is fair game, use your imagination! 💜

It's just another way of stitching things together, a different look. I think it looks sort of primitive. You could use matching thread too so you don't see if it you like stitching that way. Thanks for asking, I bet others are wondering the same thing! 💜

Hello and thanks for such an interesting channel. I am in Delaware County PA (Delco to locals) & am a newly retired CPA. I had hoped to be moved to MI by now - but life got in the way. Since retirement, I made one quilt, am half way with another and felt out of sorts. Your channel came along at the right time with the right attitude for me. I have a list of projects to work on, much of my supplies are packed up, so I had been limited until this showed up. One project is deconstructing used jeans and fixing the holes & thin areas with embroidery and/or fabric scraps. I will make quilts from this and combine the crazy fabric I made with scrap fabric. I also draw and paint and have a couple of projects for this. Thanks again, I look forward to adding this to my skill set and find new ways to incorporate this into my other fabric work.

I recently started slow stitching with K3N clothtales she is very good at the 'ya ya' like you lol. You are a wonderful teacher. Im going to be adding circles to my very long meditation scroll. I was telling Brian today I was overthinking my editing because a few people said I talk too much, and I found I was feeling like I had to keep editing, it took me HOURS. I have to stop that! Please, please never stop talking! It is one of the main reasons I love coming here. It is like being a part of a sewing circle.
Finding your channel inspired me to suggest to a couple of my crafty friends in our small group of retired school librarian to have a bring-your-own-project crafting session after our monthly luncheons. They thought it was a great idea so we have our first one next week!! I even found a large bundle of beading and cross stitch kits for $2 at a thrift store for the crafting-curious in the group.
I am also planning on sharing your channel with everyone. I have done needwork all my life although I have difficulty with my left thumb now so it is harder for me. A hoop really helps. I'm hoping I can get some things prepared for them for the next month so we can all do some slow stitching. 😊

I have recently been drawn (back) to "earthtones" more and more - quite a departure from my usual bright pinks, teals, cobalts...
A friend shared that these are "grounding" colours.
Considering the chaos in the world of late, "grounding" ~ alongside balance and peaceful escape ~ seem to be exactly what we need.
Thank you for providing the inspiration for us.
I tend to envision grandiose projects that I have no time to finish, or even start for that matter. These wee squares and little circles are portable and "finish-able" which is perfect, because who wants to start something they are convinced they can't finish?
As for the folks who feel compelled to say you talk too much, I have a few thoughts. In the interest of being charitable, I offer them these thoughts:
1.) There is a mute button.
If you need sound but you only care about learning specific techniques, you have the option of scrolling past the *friendly human interaction* parts and just watching the information you want.
2.) If you possess enough hubris to sit and complain about someone who is sharing inspiration and education *free of charge*, then one can only surmise that you also possess an equal amount of expertise in the subject.
In that case, perhaps your time would be better spent producing and sharing *your own video content* rather than trampling our collective enjoyment.

The grounding color thing makes so much sense to me and is when I need peace and serenity I choose these colors. When I am feeling excited I tend towards the brights. Interesting!
The second part of your comment is wonderful and I will use it next time someone says i talk too much, LOL And FYI, I've been trying to TimeStamp my videos so yes, people can fast forward to the right spot. I love your wall hanging (?) or whatever you may end up doing. I adore circles and want to do this so much, but I still have some quilts to finish for my children as I am 78 and who knows, right? These circles and the quilt blocks you have already made are such an inspiring way to honor your mother. I made a quilt for my youngest son from the cotton clothes he loved when he was 11-12 years (he's 46 now). It was a struggle , but worth it! I started embroidering when I was 16, later I added sewing for my daughter, son and myself along with home projects. When I started working, I began cross stitch and eventually developed carpal tunnel and tennis elbow, so I gave up cross stitch since I needed my wrists for my job! I took up quilting and gardening and really gardened and did many home projects more than anything. NOW ..... I'm tired and the plants look terrible, but I must prioritize and make sure all my children (3) have at least one quilt especially for them. At least you started your projects a little sooner than I and will be able to enjoy them for many years. Love your creativity!
Just keep moving and if your hands are full of love filled projects, that's all that. matters. Thank you so much for watching! ♥️

I dont usually comment,your vlog came up randomly on my feed. I love your dot a day. I was in a town with quite a few charity shops ( england). I can't explain why but i was drawn to a box at the back with the most beautiful napkins, tray cloths, embroidered table cloth ect. I know it will seem so wrong to cut them up,but at least they are being re used and loved again. Wish me luck,and thank you for taking the time to make the vlog.

Wow! You covered a lot in this video. What great information. I love that you showed how you embellished all the dots Wish I had thought of using the invisible basting stitch. Then it can be left in. I will do that from now on. So - I want to make mine into a quilt eventually. What do you think of adding batting before embellishing? Then when the backing is added I would just add some straight quilting next to the joined blocks. The other option is just make all the squares and join them and then add batting and backing as if it was a traditionally pieced quilt. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks again for a great project!
I would embellish them first with the idea that I was going to do some additional quilting. So the dots themselves would have stitching on them but leave around them for the quilting later. (If you wanted to leave the very center of the dot without embellishment and do a tie thing in there to make sure the dots were secured down, but that would just be a matter of choice) I'm kinda working all this out with my moms quilt blocks. I'm quilting as I go but often embellishing the top first if that makes sense. Check out that video I think i put a link in this dot video to her quilt. ♥️

I am an oil painter but I also love quilting and like to have some handwork going on the side. This will definitely be something I will be trying soon. Hi Jeri, how are you treating the dots that you don’t turn over the edges, ragged edges? I’ve tried turning them over but I found it too fiddly so going with frayed/ragged edges instead for my dots. Btw…. HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂
Just stitch them close to the edge, it works fine because a circle is mostly on the bias. You'll have a little fraying on the edge but I love that. It's going to look amazing! 💜
k3n’s slow stitch project this week is based partially on your Dot-A-Day work. And Alex Anderson mentioned on her live show today that she’s using your Dot-A-Day to learn needle turn appliqué. Although Alex has been a professional quilter for many years, she has never done needle turn appliqué. It really is a small world. I came here to watch your Dot-A-Day videos so that I can do a better job on my k3n project this week. I’ve already watched part one, and I’m writing this comments as I watch part two.

Hello from California, Jeri🤚🏻 I really enjoyed watching part 1 and 2 of this video! I am absolutely inspired, thank you! My question is, have you washed hand stitched projects? I would think the tighter the stitching, the better. I would love to sprinkle a few stitched blocks in to quilts. 🤔
I typically don't wash my hand stitched stuff, not because I'm against it, I'm not, just because they seem to not need it. I might air fluff something in the dryer if I thought it was dusty or leave it outside to get some air. A quilt is another story, I do wash those in the machine, and maybe not everyone would do that. On gentle cycle and tumber dry for 5 minutes then air dry. 💜 PS I'm making another bag with quilting stitches on it!

Anyway, thanks for this dot podcast, I’m so enthusiastic about trying it. I mostly knit, but have gotten back into sewing and have been collecting some vintage pieces to make a scrappy quilt. So I have a question. You said on this podcast if you were making a quilt out of the dots you wouldn’t put embroidery 😅on the back of them? Okay, but what are you making with them? Let me explain but first... GLAD YOU ARE HERE! I love when someone tells someone else and someone else and... So I am NOT making a quilt, I was saving my soul. I was deep in "I don't know what I'm doing, I'm too old" mode and wasn't creating all that much, found Jude Hill and she loves circles and one thing leads to another, The dots were born. So if you want to make a quilt, my thought is to embroider the actual dot and around the dot and not on the background of the square cloth. Is this the only way to go about this, heck NO. But it's the way I would do it. Put all the squares together, then layer with batt if you want then the backing then quilt it. I hope this made sense. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for subbing and sharing!

I have just watched the two parts of your Dot a Day, a number of times. I am truly inspired. I plan to make a number of prepared squares and dots to the cottage this summer to work on. I will have to learn how to do the embroidery part, since that is a new craft for me. I am a quilter, knitter, spinner, weaver, etc. but not perfect at anything. I love how you encourage to just do. I am wondering how you will finish off all of your 300+ squares together?

Use ANY needle that is thin with a decent hole. Do not stress yourself out! I saw the jeanna needles on amazon but forget about it... And I have NO idea where the DMC thread came from, again, use what you have! I swear it will be great! I only told what I use because people ask. I want to do these as a mixed media card topper!I had bits of fabric to my paper cards and pictures, people seem to really like receiving them, Also hoping to add a bit of batting or fluff under the dots for baby guilts etc.. Think they will really be cute especially if you use different texture of dots, baby will love touching the different “ feels” of it🤗!!!

Today while watching the second dot video I heard you talk about the needle roll that you made. I think that I’ll make one. The needle book that I made doesn’t suit my needs (even though I love the fabric that I made it from.)
The needle roll is fun, fast and easy. I love stitching on wool, it's like sewing into butter! ❤️

Found more fabric to recycle and it’s already washed, but the thickness varies. Some of it is a bit thicker than average quilting cotton and some thinner. Do you think it will cause problems when I join the squares?
I like the look of your square gallery and am going to try for a similar look. I know that I won’t get an identical look because I am using different fabrics. For your dots you have used some brown fabrics and black thread. Did you use black fabrics as well? I can’t tell the difference between black and dark brown on my screen. Thanks for these great tutorials.
I have used a little black but it's mostly patterned. And sometimes I use the wrong side of the fabric so it could look off. if you are watching on a computer try lightening your screen. I always forget to do that and it works great.
My fabrics are a mixture too, lightweight and medium. I wouldn't use anything that too heavy though, I think it would just be too stiff. And when you get a bunch of squares done you can lay them out so that they are balanced by weight. I hope this helps.. thanks so much for watching! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

When I needle turn appliqué I use a wooden toothpick to turn the fabric under the wooden tooth pick clings to the fabric so much better and make it easier to turn the fabric under. Greetings from New Zealand.

There is no backing at this stage, you can add a backing depending on what you will do with them. I'm going to talk more about this tonight on my new YT video. ❤️

I am so looking forward to starting my Dot-A-Day. Now to figure out what colors of scraps to use and do I want to go all wild and mix colors or do a color theme. Decisions decisions. I find that while using two strands of floss or thread, I use a used dryer sheet and pull my threads through a fold used dryer sheet. It conditions the thread, reduces static, and smooths things out. I learned this from a doll maker who embroidered faces on her dolls

@@JeriBellini I am in the same boat as Joan--and sewing and painting are the only things that ease my depression--it is kind of like magic, but I do stop doing it sometimes, then it's hard to get started again. Sometimes I have to set a timer for 30 minutes and "make" myself paint or sew, and that helps. I agree with Joan, Jeri, I love listening to you and you explain things so well, I think I am finally going to try to tackle applique!! Circles will be the exact right thing to start with. Purple is not my favorite color, but it gives me my favorite memory, The Tiny Beach House. So sometimes I will buy purple things, especially for my PA house to keep me in the beach groove. My fav color is and has always been yellow. (Yellow car etc) I go in and out of other colors, but Yellow brings a big smile to my face. YEARS ago when I was working full time, mondays were a bust so I made up a story "Happy Yellow Monday" and me and Brian had to wear yellow to remind us to be happy in spite of going off to work. Long story! LOL ❤️

When you did the running stitch on the edge (min 38) did you still do the invisible appliqué? (I'm doing running stitch for my appliqué stitch on a project of mine.)

@@JeriBellini just to make sure I understand, not all of your circles are getting applied like the yellow one that you used to teach hand appliqué. (Just curious, I like to know the whys - the sidetracks & the errata more than the hows.)
@@AvivaHadas I did use some of my moms tee shirts and those I just cut no hem. I have stitched down ragged edge circles too. ANYTHING is fair game, use your imagination! 💜

Why do you whip stitch squares instead of hiding the stitches?
It's just another way of stitching things together, a different look. I think it looks sort of primitive. You could use matching thread too so you don't see if it you like stitching that way. Thanks for asking, I bet others are wondering the same thing! 💜

Hello and thanks for such an interesting channel. I am in Delaware County PA (Delco to locals) & am a newly retired CPA. I had hoped to be moved to MI by now - but life got in the way. Since retirement, I made one quilt, am half way with another and felt out of sorts. Your channel came along at the right time with the right attitude for me. I have a list of projects to work on, much of my supplies are packed up, so I had been limited until this showed up. One project is deconstructing used jeans and fixing the holes & thin areas with embroidery and/or fabric scraps. I will make quilts from this and combine the crazy fabric I made with scrap fabric. I also draw and paint and have a couple of projects for this. Thanks again, I look forward to adding this to my skill set and find new ways to incorporate this into my other fabric work.

I recently started slow stitching with K3N clothtales she is very good at the 'ya ya' like you lol. You are a wonderful teacher. Im going to be adding circles to my very long meditation scroll. Each section is small and portable like your circles, i take my stitching nearly everywhere with me so these are perfect. Thankyou for sharing❤
