Hi Jeri. Thanks for posting this. I'm not keen on making the separate lining for rice bags - I always mess it up! - so this is a great method for constructing a bag and effectively lining it at the same time. I can also imagine a patchwork bedspread made of scores of these padded squares, every one different. You could even ask friends to make squares to add to a quilt. Have saved this video so I can refer to it again. Best wishes, Valerie
I love everything you’re doing these days, Jeri. These little bright squares look like lots of fun. I’m a great Teesha Moore fan. She contributed so much to multimedia art. I especially love her Amazing 16-page journal from a single sheet of watercolor paper.
I LOVE this project! I have a bunch of scrappy squares of various sizes, so I’m quite excited that now I know what to do with them. Thanks for the inspiration, Jeri!
I love this so much!!! What a great way to have a portable quilting project with you. I might put my own spin on it and make the individual pieces without raw edges, but join them together like you did and quilt each one individually. I also love the one with all the different size pieces. Going to try it tonight! I want to make a throw size quilt. I really like the video cards and the voiceover.
Oh lots of positive feedback, I love it!! I hope you can send me a picture when you do something with this idea, it sounds like you're going to do something really fun! 🩵
@@JeriBellini i made 2 of them 2 ways. Tonight i am going to try your method to see which i like best. I am worried about how the raw edges would do when washed so may test that out also

Hi Jeri watching this video of these colorful patches inspired me to subscribe. I just love them and am thinking they would make a cute pillbox type hat to wear to cover my hairloss as I age creatively lol. Thank you for your frank discussions of late on the realites of aging .

I belong to a urban sketchbook group similar to this and we have become great friends around the world. I don’t blame you for wanting to see others work, that would drive me nuts if I were teaching and not able to see the work. I found you a couple of weeks ago and just in time. Gorgeous patches! I love your style and stitching. Thank you for sharing your process. I make snippet roll boxes but have been wanting to make something similar to what you make. Can't wait!
Thank you for this! I missed the Teesha Moore bandwagon, but I have seen enough of her work to know I hate that I missed it. On Craftster (or a similar now defunct website) I once saw someone who had used Teesha Moore inspiration to make a purse that looked easier than all the individual patches that I wish I could find again (she had instructions), but I definitely plan to make some of your funky patches and see where it goes. I love having fun without having to worry about perfect seam allowances or perfectly even stitches, etc.....but love stitching ...again, thank you! I subscribed to your channel and plan to do some exploration of what you already have. Thank you!
Hi Jeri I’m rewatching this episode and decided to just this once , look at your shops! Oh my! Now I’m in trouble, I want everything…….. but, you don’t ship to Australia? Please say you’ll override that and send me a small order. I have found something in your bead shop that I’ve been searching for, and cannot find anywhere else. Please 🙏

Thanks so much for posting @Jeri Bellini. I found the channel from a prompt from K3n and have been binge watching, here in the UK, while I recover from COVID( first time). I loved this video particularly as most of my fabric stash is coloured fabric so this gives lots of inspiration. The funky patches are mini masterpieces - just love watching you. Every blessing Sarah.
Jeri, this is great. I would like to thank you for including time stamps. That is so helpful! One question I do have is what type of needle do you use with the perle cotton?
You are WELCOME for the TimeStamps! I wondered if anyone would scroll down and see them! I forgot to mention it in the video. I've done it for a few and will try, as time allows to go back and TimeStamp a few more. The needle just has to have a sharp point and a biggish eye. All my needles are out of their original packages so I can't tell you definitively what needle I am using. I would guess a chenille.... Please don't hate me! And THANK YOU for your Fabric Roll order! 🩵
As a happy subscriber I have to agree that a chenille needle has a good sharp point that zips through the layers. It has a relatively big eye for threading perle cotton but a needle threader is very helpful too.
This looks such a lovely project to try. Thanks so much for the video- it takes me ages to get around to watching just because life is busy but I do get there eventually. 💛
Jeri I just wanted to add that I found the video just fine and did not need the additional voice notes, though it a fine that they are there of course. I am very comfortable with periods of silence so the little gaps are not strange to me . I will watch more and wanted to thank you again for your vibrant, creative ideas. xxx
I like the chapter title audio as well as video. Nice and clear what's happening. I LOVE the way these little patches are made. I recently found Teesha Moore's old videos of her technique by (roundabout) way of a Pinterest post of another fibre artist who makes fabulous tiny themed bags using the same process. I am captivated by the look. I'm already planning in my head a little experimental piece to give this a try. And thinking how I will use it in a larger completed piece that I want to enter in a show this summer. Wonderful inspiration. Thanks for the very clear process instructions. It's great to have the details and see exactly how these go together. Love them to bits!
Oh I love it to bits that you found my video helpful and I am going to Pinterest to look for the tiny bags you mentioned. They sound fabulous! I want to make a beach bag with some and I have another idea I'm going to share in my Patreon community. Thanks for being here! 🩵

@@lindanonnenmann1112 Thank you so much for your input on this Linda! 🩵 I’m sure others will find this very helpful.
This looks such a lovely project to try. Thanks so much for the video- it takes me ages to get around to watching just because life is busy but I do get there eventually. 💛
Oh I know how that goes! I watch at night before i go to bed so I can dream of creativity! Thanks for watching! 💜
Jeri I just wanted to add that I found the video just fine and did not need the additional voice notes, though it a fine that they are there of course. I am very comfortable with periods of silence so the little gaps are not strange to me . I will watch more and wanted to thank you again for your vibrant, creative ideas. xxx
@@lesleymccallion2185 Thanks Leslie, I appreciate you letting me know. Have a GREAT day! 💜

You are so welcome, they are addictive so watch out! LOL 💜
I love these little patches--I will be making us some place mats with some--thanks so much for another inspiring video Hugs, Julierose🥰
Hugs back Julierose! ❤️
Good evening from France....it's 11pm here so being inspired before going to bed 💤🥱💤.

I love any type of scrappy stitching. This is fun stuff. Did you see my beach bag? It came out really nice and I'm making another bag now to teach a class at the campground. Thanks for being here! ❤️

Absolutely delightful 🫶🏼 it’s the perfect toss sewing stuff in a bag for a road trip project for me. My first project could be that bag 🤭 thank you for sharing your time and talent and thank you for Tracy’s link.
This is one of my favorite things to stitch! and I plan on doing a neutral theme soon just for fun! 💜💜💜
