When I was racing i had a check list i went over the day before race day, it included checking/tightening clamps,screws,bolts ,spokes,rim locks and more, never had a problem with the bike breaking in a race...except once when i forgot to mix the oil in the gas..siezed shortly off the start, i definitely added that to the check list,lol. We as both riders and mechanics can be our own worst enemy.😲🙂
I usually have a little check list myself but I wasn’t working on the bike at all at this one I had help, I’ve never turned my gas off on race day ever in my entire life. Glad it’s over with

You have enough of a following and put out good enough content that I think your fans would continue to follow your privateer effort no matter what you were riding!

Looking good out there. Hoping to get a ktm 250 or Yamaha 250 2 stroke next year. Bought a kx250 instead of trying the first year ktm 2 strokes in December. Definitely miss the rm250 felt way faster
Have you considered running NEPG or GNCC? You would crush bro. More races in your region plus local scrambles. Less overhead, more opportunity to race, win and earn. Plus more 2 smoke content.

Fortunately it was just a hose clamp. That's the best news of a bad situation. Shouldn't be as concerning as a deeper issue. I didn't tighten a hose clamp enough 2 top end rebuilds ago on my yz125, and I was freaking out at first when I saw coolant coming out on the bike stand. Was so glad it was just a loose clamp.
It’s late in the year and only 4 races left keep pluggin privateer guy. If you need a driver next year I’ll do it for you for free and help any way I can. I’m doing phsyio right now on my hand, if you recall I’m the guy who contacted you when you got burnt. I’m still going through some stuff and can’t ride with my hand the way it is. Get another 450 and start racing it at the nationals I would rather race a 450 and qualify for the races and do good then race a 250 2stroke and not but still love the vids bro
Technically the 2 stroke didn't necessarily prevent him from qualifying. And other 2 strokes did qualify. Not to mention the bigger budget needed for the thumper.

Get another 450 and start racing it at the nationals I would rather race a 450 and qualify for the races and do good then race a 250 2stroke and not but still love the vids bro
Technically the 2 stroke didn't necessarily prevent him from qualifying. And other 2 strokes did qualify. Not to mention the bigger budget needed for the thumper.

If he raced a 4stroke he would get a few positions better but all the press he gets and fans in person and for this channel are from racing the 2smoke and that’s what he loves and wants to do. His whole channel and life is based around 2strokes. If he was running a 4stroke he wouldn’t have the fanbase he has supporting him and he would maybe get a few spots better finish. Running a 4stroke isn’t going to magically make a huge improvement. And Hunter Lawrence has blown up more motors than Matty has this season 🤣
