Love the eco!! From central Pa to Va. rolled into hotel at 36.7mpg Back country and hwy driving wife gets 32 on talk all week long. Owned it 24 months, have 34k on it!
The engine is a little beast. I know because I drove the Ram EcoDiesel. The only issue is that they do not have very good reviews when it comes to reliability.
I have a 2021 Rubicon EcoDiesel on 37's. Love the Jeep but I am worried now that they have discontinued this EcoDiesel what that will mean for maintenance and parts in the future
Critical parts will always be available. They sold many in ram trucks and in Europe in different vehicles. It is currently still being sold for its marine and military use division in Europe and other parts of the world.
@Good-luck-Jonathan thank you for the information. I know the ecodiesel has gotten some bad publicity on the internet but I absolutely love driving mine. Can't see myself getting rid of it.
You won't need to worry about parts or anything but doing maintenance and it will last a life time and can out be outlived yourself, but if the time comes when something needs replacement, there's always parts available and they can be manufactured by private manufacturers if very limited. You have nonething to worry about so go have fun and rip around with it, that's what vehicles are meant for.
@Sickoloko24 I absolutely love this engine in the wrangler. The egt's run a bit high , however I have never owned a v6 diesel. I cruise around 1000° but can see 1300° on grade.
Finally a nice review on the ECODIESEL - I have the Banks Derringer Tune and I hit 305hp with 480lb torque according to the Derringer guage....
Mines goes to 520 tq?
Who knows what it is on a really dyno. I'd say 300 lbs of torque to the wheels.
Great review. I also have the Banks derringer tune and the pedalmonster combo on mine. Still enjoying it every day!
I’m going to add the Banks Pedal Monster to my 3.0 Diesel !!!

Are you stock ?
@@007juanmartinez 100% stock
The dpf has issues as well as have to get the egr valve cleaned. My manifold cracked at 90k miles. Very expensive for repairs.

They will provide parts for 20 years when the economy diesel is completely discontinued and by then we can get aftermarket too

I would appreciate the eco diesel 3rd gen changes review. I have one and would love to hear your take and your research. Thanks again.
I have the GDE tune and love it.
GDE tune here as well…Love it.
Do you still have the full send switch for the 19 6.7 power strokes I can find them
has Jeep stopped offering the diesel as an option? I don't see it as an option on the website....
Last year was the last year (2023). They created some special edition that only got stickers to say it was a 3.0 EcoDiesel
Not available on wranglers after 2022. Only gladiators.
Is it for sale?
Thanks for sharing.
It’s doesn’t have Aux controls
Nope. Y’all can have it.
Find a way to make it faster please I have a two door shortbed Dodge with the new engine I'm trying to make it faster
Add Banks Pedal Monster and Derringer Kit
260 hp. Incredible dream engine.
570 nm isn't a joke for a 3.0 liter v6.
@@bluesteeljay9343 It is 600NM factory and now Im at an Est 700 now with some upgrades.
