I was there last year and Tom made a tactical error in the shield carry when he thought he did enough with plenty left in the tank but Mitch surprised everyone by gutting it out and never looked back. This year it looks like Tom won’t be looking back. Evan on the podium !
Great show but it's a bit of a Mitch's Calluses show which is rather repetitive. Not your fault of course but it makes it a bit biased towards Mitchell as I'm sure all the other athletes have their aches and pains as well.

Tom just seems like he is very comfortable competing at the WSM. I can tell you as an autistic myself this plays a huge roll at keeping the brain calm and from glitching which you can literally see the electric impulses do under scans. Once that happens, meltdowns, shutdowns and other things can happen and trying to willpower it away is like expecting a person in a wheelchair willpower themselves to walk up stairs. I kind of expect Loz to talk more of these things since he has a child with autism.
@bdegrds Many places have made it mandatory for parents to be tested when their kids get the diagnosis, for this exact reason, it's something you inherit, not chance

But being ginger is 100% heritable and two ginger parents can have a non ginger child, or two non-ginger parents can have a ginger child. It's not as simple as having autism guarantees autistic children or that autistic children must have autistic parents. There's estimated to be 100 - 1000 genes involved in people with autism spectrum and the genetic science of autism is not fully understood

How is the scoring done on max axle? 3 men did 4reps. 2 got 9.5 points and 1 got 8 points
Thats why after a certain point ubhave to shave calluses down.

If this was a spinning axle and the record was done on a fixed one, then it shouldn't have counted as world record, if someone got it.

The fact that one of his kids is autistic makes it pretty probably one of the parents are at least 😅
