Let Me In or Let 美人 is a South Korean television program that airs on a local cable network called 'Story On,' which is operated by CJ Entertainment. The title is a Chinese/English pun from the characters for beautiful 美 (sounds like 'me') and person 人 (sounds like 'in'). It is a reality makeover style show that is a combination of Swan meets Cinderella meets Pimp my Ride with a Korean twist. The show premiered on 2 December 2011 and has been met with both acclaim and condemnation by locals in Korea. 21 year old College student Nisanard was often bullied for her masculine and long face, often being referred to as 'Transgender' or 'witch'. She won the chance of a life time by taking part in the competition to be featured on 'Let me in'. Here is her amazing transformation.
Her issue:
Severe Malocclusion and Protruded Mouth. Nisanard has malocclusion and prognathism due to her overdeveloped lower jaw.Through orthognathic surgery, the aesthetical structure of her face will be fixed as well as functional problems caused by prognathism and malocclusion.
The test result shows that she has level 3 malocclusion with crossbite, and due to her overdeveloped jaw, her face looks longer than it is. The left side of the tip of her chin was a little bit tilted to the right side. Through Orthognathic Surgery, the length of her lower jaw was shortened while balancing both sides of her chin. It made her face shape smoother with a feminine image. As well as receiving orthodontics, she also visited the clinic clinic to help with her acne, brighten her skin and restore the face's elasticity.

Exactly my thoughts. I think they made her nose WAY too tall, she would have been fine with just a jaw surgery but then they added all the unnecessary ones like a forehead graft. I hope she's happy with it though!
They probably dont have time for that. Healing takes a long time and it's not easy to stay in a foreign country just to heal one part and then go under surgery the second time.
Because it's a tv show they need to make it more drastic for entertainment purpose.

bcs they put an implant on her forehead as well as fillers under eyes, and white tan to make her look white, but that`s how korean plastic surgery works. Altough she needed to fix only her chin, they did too much and shaved her chin too much so now she looks like another "kangnam beauty"(korean plastic beaty) who hardly smile and eat.

But honestly Thais are more attractive than Korean in my opinion. Due to mixing. Thailand is between the Indo-Asia(this is my own made-up word. East Asian countries where they have a darker complexion), China and India. Since I know and have seen some Thais look really really great(except those ladyboys). Meanwhile in Korea, the citizens look very plain. And in some cases even not attractive at all. Even with all the make-up and surgeries in Korea. They cannot reach the their fellow Asian counterpart. And that's because Thais are MORE natural. They also do surgical alterations, but just less than Koreans

My sister's jaw is noticeably pushed to the front, we gave her braces and the first time it failed, we gave her braces again with a specialised dentist in that field and her jaw noticeably changed to the better, sometimes the dentist is not doing it right

She has an underbite, which needs surgery to reconstruct it. It's easy to say when we don't have this condition. I have seen people in real life with a severe underbite, and it's very noticeable. Just hope that this will bring back her confidence.

GUYS we have the same case, an underbite and long chin/ protruding lower jaw..you say she isn't bad looking before and so so but being ugly is not our MAIN problem. You know what's the problem having this face? It's the painful popping of the jaw (TMJ disorder) when we yawn and the fact that we are prone to lock jaw. I can't count how many times i almost cried and panic because i thought i have a lock jaw coz i forgot to not open my mouth when yawning to prevent that painful popping. You read it right guys, yawning with a close mouth so my jaw won't pop. I also experienced having trouble opening my mouth for a week after a very painful popping. I went to dentist already but braces is not the solution to fix jaws guys, for underbite yes but for protruding jaws, only surgery can fix it.....

A lot people seem to don't know this condition but it is an underbite. I'm not sure if this can just be fixed with only braces, but I believe you have to have recontructive surgery to fix this.
