    His smile when meeting Sun was the most heart warming thing.

      His eyes are so expressive, the sadness you see when Sun tells him Jin said he was dead.

    He was the best daddy in Lost, so sweet and loving... He probably wasn't even his biological father but he really loved Jin ❤

      You're right, he was probably the best father of the lot. I didn't think of it like that.

      What about Kate's stepfather? I mean Jins Dad and Kate's stepfather are also in that position too.

      @@eshswam Yes, Sgt Major Sam Austen was a good man and a lovely father to Kate. He had to call the authorities after her but he let her escape. He regretted leaving Kate with Diane and Wayne. Too bad we 've never seen him again, i.e. at the arrival of the Oceanic Six or during the Kate's trial. I hoped that they could reconnect with each other.

      Dude, what?
      Literally every other father of an adult character in Lost is fucking terrible except for Jin's

      Shame his mother was evil. I disliked when Jin's mother tried to blackmail Sun for money.

    Jin wouldn’t be so shamed if he knew what the fathers of the other survivors were like.

    The greatness of Lost is in it's characters, even the very small ones. And Jin's father is among the best!

    He looks like a more than decent man. He should not be ashamed to live a "simple" life as a fisherman.

    Honestly, I see no shame in being a son of a fisherman. Biological or not, Jin was gifted the best father in the world.

      He may have done a lot of good, but lying to the kid about his mother is definitely disqualifying him from being the best father in the world.

    • @metodoinstinto
      @metodoinstinto 2 роки тому +3

      @@samflynn97 I don't think so. Maybe it was a good, maybe it wasn't. He, you, I and nobody could have ever known. He did what he thought was right with his son's best interest in mind. Let's not be kids here and say that "all lying is evil". The world isn't black or white.

    The scene is full of honor, he was willing to take the world of dishonor on his shoulder so his son would not feel the shame of being poor and without a mother. Gives you a lump in your throat just listening to him talk

    You know, I always wonder what happened to Jin's parents after the crash of the Oceanic and the Ajira planes. Like did they approach Sun after the return of the Oceanic 6? Did they try to claim Jin and Sun's baby in anyway after the crash of the Ajira plane? I wish the storyline with Jin's parents was explored a bit more.
