@ 7:45 'Solar Disconnecter Tool' You Can Make Your Own . . . . . ! ! . . . with a couple of Popsicle Sticks.
I broke one popsicle stick in half for the two narrow arms that will engage the MC4 connector and cut the second stick in 3/4" pieces to make the 'body' using a few together for the correct width taping the pieces together with your typical electrical tape / a narrow arm projecting from each side of the body.
The Popsicle sticks were actually obtained from Corn Dogs . . . . . . hmmmmm . . . . .
Seems nice but a little too pricey from what I’m seeing online. I feel like pricing should be closer to $1 per watt while this is closer to 2.
as always, so nice to see Brooklyn, can you maybe advise on my panels and ecoflow river pro, i have 2 x170watt poly`s, but they hooked in parallel, total voc is about 20v, but the amps gets to about 15 to 18, will this damage the river pro, max voc for riverpro is 25volts and max amps is 12..I currently have the panels hooked up to a victron mppt..what is more risky, higher voc or amps to the unit?, will the river just max out at 12amps and maintain that regulated intake?
