I know it's not that much different but have you considered doing a video on a TSOP flash with conductive paint? Also any recommendations for doing a TSOP without a DVD drive(can't use Hexen)? I've been thinking of trying Rocky5's extras disc which the latest has a TSOP flashing utility that even cleans up the softmods afterwards but I'm not sure if that'd set the dashboard back to default or not and since the softmod is so automatic I'm not sure where to start with installing a dashboard lol.

What I have done in the past is copy the bios to C:\BIOS\bios.bin and then used xblast to flash the bios. After it was done flashing I would swap in a hdd that already was setup with a hardmodded dash. If you are planning a hdd upgrade, you can get your new hdd pre-setup easily. Go to my video description of Part 13B, in the description is a link that says For Hardmods, download that and download HDD Gurus Raw Copy Tool, place the image on your new hard drive using the tool. After the tsop flash you should be able to use the new hdd. You can then open xbpartioner to repartiton the Rest of the space of the hdd. I've thought about doing more videos but unfortunately I can't commit the time now as I've gotten multiple jobs and I'm basically working day and night. Thanks.

So..... Many years ago I messed up a TSOP will any of the cheap mod chips reflash the TSOP?

No but you could just leave the modchip in the system permanently and your xbox will work like normal. Alternatively you could remove the tsop chip from a donor board and solder it in to your dead xbox. I've had to do that once and it started working again.

I have the Winbond chip... You mention that it's done differently, but I cannot find out what to do differently?
Could you let me know :) Fanks!
Amazing videos btw... You playlist is literally the best I can find in the past few days i've been on this...

Thanks. In the hexen disc, there is a winbond option that is under the non winbond option, just select that option and its pretty much the same.

Are you using a bios that support lba48 v2? Flash a different bios, I use indibios f and g 5004.67.
