    McDonald’s was famous for
    clean restaurants, good food and reasonable prices. All of that is gone now😕

      If by “good” you mean tasty then ok. They were famous for unhealthy food that tastes good, atleast in my experience being a child in the 80s. Personally I occasionally tolerated this more recently as an adult since it was a relatively cheap way to feed my family once or twice a month. So now instead of unhealthy but cheap it’s unhealthy and expensive, thus I have made it the even more occasional treat once every few months or so. I’d rather spend slightly more to support a local mom n pop and get food that is more likely to be good for me.
      As for this wealthy fat cat CEO… as they say these days “say you are completely out of touch without saying those actual words”.

      But $11.59 a meal is still low price compared with most other restaurants if you do not want to cook and want to eat outside. Maybe a pizza? At least $25. Maybe some other local stores? Now a ramen costs like $20 and lowest suggested tip is 15%. So Macdonald still seems to be a to go place although it is much more expensive than before and it’s selling trashy food

    All I know is that in Canada, you use to be able to get 2x1/4 lb trio for 9.88$. Now these criminals want 18.88$. That's not called inflation. That's called screwing the customer with covid pricing. Still going strong. Haven't had McD's in 19 months.

    You don't get much for $5 meal. Like 10 fries, a small piece of chicken smashed in 2 small buns. Sprinkled with broken pieces of lettuce. $4 for 2 is better. Oh and a small drink.

    Uh I am not sure I believe that pricing chart. Big Mac is $6.39 here and I live in a pretty inexpensive city. 10 piece Nugget Meal $10.59.

    Sorry but McDonald’s current pricing has NOTHING to do with inflation and EVERYTHING to do with greed. I used to eat at McDonalds 2-3 times a week. Now it’s been a year or more since I’ve eaten there. Screw McDonald’s.

    Chipotle can have my money for these prices. There are snobs that say they haven’t had McDonald’s in 10 years, but I have been eating McDonald’s a few times a week for 20 years since I’m on the road for work. I ate there because it was cheap and tasty, obviously not healthy. But now that it’s not cheap, I’ll get chipotle for $10.

    we all know that inflation number is way underestimated. My spending at grocery at least doubled since Covid, and also most restaurant at least increased their prices by 60%, and they are still keeping doing it. So McDonald’s 25% price increase is moderate and vindicated. The narrative that McDonald is expensive is just dubious. After all, there is little alternative that have comparable prices

    Sorry it is the Rule. It is true that prices have raised 100% not because of inflation not because of labour cost but because Majority Shareholders DEMAND prices be raised. McDonalds is NOT addressing the citisens who demand lower prices. Shame on McDonalds. Shame on you!

    My wife somehow spent $17 on an egg McMuffin with cheese, side of taters, and an OJ. Once you slightly modify the order the price balloons. The manager didn't give a crap... They know breakfast people are in a rush....

    I've not really had Mcdonalds since the pandemic. It's too much. We had a big bag bundle deal in my area where 16.99 would buy you two Big Macs, two cheese burgers, two fries, and 10 chicken nuggets. That meal is now 32 dollars. A 100% increase is accurate.

    Last month I purchased 4 double cheeseburgers 2 large fries and 2 chicken sandwiches an it came out to be a little over $30 when it used to be less than $15. No thank you

    He cherry picks four items from the menu and then fails to mention that both the McDouble and double cheeseburger have both tripled in price.
    Buy one get one deals for those two have been removed from the app.
    Wendy's has offered a $5 deal for years that is already better than the one he is proposing for Mcdonald's, the list goes on.
    Mcdonald's also posted a record all time profit in 2023 completely negating his argument that they had to raise prices due to higher costs.

    I'm an entropy fan and would love to see the greedy corporations crash but then they will get bailed out from tax payer money. So why don't they avoid the hassles and make McDonald's affordable again. Such a waste of time and while they are at keep housing and rental prices reasonable. My wages usually don't go up every year but the rent does...every year around 10 %. Should be illegal to charge so much money and then automatic increases whether you are poor or rich.
    Politicians and corporations love their salary increases and sometimes huge bonuses. Some live month to month.

    Deli get is off base. He tries to shift the cost inflation on the franchise who own 90% of the stores. But guess who' S name is on all the signs. It isn't the franchise's name it says McDonalds.
    He needs to get a handle on costs and turn pricing back where customers will come back. We went to store today to cook our own meals for our grandkids because we are tired of spending $40 A day for happy meals during summer vacation.. No more McDonalds until value comes back.
