If by “good” you mean tasty then ok. They were famous for unhealthy food that tastes good, atleast in my experience being a child in the 80s. Personally I occasionally tolerated this more recently as an adult since it was a relatively cheap way to feed my family once or twice a month. So now instead of unhealthy but cheap it’s unhealthy and expensive, thus I have made it the even more occasional treat once every few months or so. I’d rather spend slightly more to support a local mom n pop and get food that is more likely to be good for me. As for this wealthy fat cat CEO… as they say these days “say you are completely out of touch without saying those actual words”.
But $11.59 a meal is still low price compared with most other restaurants if you do not want to cook and want to eat outside. Maybe a pizza? At least $25. Maybe some other local stores? Now a ramen costs like $20 and lowest suggested tip is 15%. So Macdonald still seems to be a to go place although it is much more expensive than before and it’s selling trashy food
You have an increasingly unhappy customer base, and this is your response to them? Your lying! This is very disappointing. McDonald's Corporate Office seems to be taking their customers for granted.
All I know is that in Canada, you use to be able to get 2x1/4 lb trio for 9.88$. Now these criminals want 18.88$. That's not called inflation. That's called screwing the customer with covid pricing. Still going strong. Haven't had McD's in 19 months.
if it is 1 out of 13000 then what about 17.50$ or 17$ or 16$ or 17.99$.. it does not tell how many sell over median price... hahaha all smoke and mirrors from the corporates....
You don't get much for $5 meal. Like 10 fries, a small piece of chicken smashed in 2 small buns. Sprinkled with broken pieces of lettuce. $4 for 2 is better. Oh and a small drink.
Sorry but McDonald’s current pricing has NOTHING to do with inflation and EVERYTHING to do with greed. I used to eat at McDonalds 2-3 times a week. Now it’s been a year or more since I’ve eaten there. Screw McDonald’s.
The McDonalds ceo should take his food and stuff it in his ear. Ive completely had it with overpriced poor quality food and virtually no service. He is never going to see any more money. Never ever!
Chipotle can have my money for these prices. There are snobs that say they haven’t had McDonald’s in 10 years, but I have been eating McDonald’s a few times a week for 20 years since I’m on the road for work. I ate there because it was cheap and tasty, obviously not healthy. But now that it’s not cheap, I’ll get chipotle for $10.
Mc Donald's is not a steak house....why in the hell would you pay $18 for a big Mac/drink /fries and choc milkshake Will never go back 🎉😢🎉 Goodbye childhood Having a steak at home from now on...🎉🎉🎉🎉
we all know that inflation number is way underestimated. My spending at grocery at least doubled since Covid, and also most restaurant at least increased their prices by 60%, and they are still keeping doing it. So McDonald’s 25% price increase is moderate and vindicated. The narrative that McDonald is expensive is just dubious. After all, there is little alternative that have comparable prices
Sorry it is the Rule. It is true that prices have raised 100% not because of inflation not because of labour cost but because Majority Shareholders DEMAND prices be raised. McDonalds is NOT addressing the citisens who demand lower prices. Shame on McDonalds. Shame on you!
My wife somehow spent $17 on an egg McMuffin with cheese, side of taters, and an OJ. Once you slightly modify the order the price balloons. The manager didn't give a crap... They know breakfast people are in a rush....
Bank Rolling McDonalds 🎵🎶🎵🎶 and at that price enjoy all the diseases you get with the meals and hospital bills are just the perks...abnormal liver, hormone etc. Yay
I've not really had Mcdonalds since the pandemic. It's too much. We had a big bag bundle deal in my area where 16.99 would buy you two Big Macs, two cheese burgers, two fries, and 10 chicken nuggets. That meal is now 32 dollars. A 100% increase is accurate.
Old ate mcdees 1 time since trump. Never under biden.. I wouldnt eat there even if i had a free meal.. I can make a way better burger myself in under 5 mins
What use to cost $1 dollar, there doing us a favor and making it a $5 “value”. While blaming the workers wanting a living wage. Still cost them penny’s to the dollar.
Maybe they need to address the millions franchises and 100s of millions mcdonalds upper management makes and not just blame it all on paying a resonable working wage
Last month I purchased 4 double cheeseburgers 2 large fries and 2 chicken sandwiches an it came out to be a little over $30 when it used to be less than $15. No thank you
He cherry picks four items from the menu and then fails to mention that both the McDouble and double cheeseburger have both tripled in price. Buy one get one deals for those two have been removed from the app. Wendy's has offered a $5 deal for years that is already better than the one he is proposing for Mcdonald's, the list goes on. Mcdonald's also posted a record all time profit in 2023 completely negating his argument that they had to raise prices due to higher costs.
Give me a break. It’s not logics or wage issues at that rest stop but greed. The owner has a captive customer and can charge anything s/he wants. It’s like getting a popcorn and drink in a movie theater.
Take executive pay and cut it in half and accept 3% profit margins but no. Blame worker pay right. Sort of bs corp america reduce executive pay and bonuses kinda easy if u ask me
I'm an entropy fan and would love to see the greedy corporations crash but then they will get bailed out from tax payer money. So why don't they avoid the hassles and make McDonald's affordable again. Such a waste of time and while they are at keep housing and rental prices reasonable. My wages usually don't go up every year but the rent does...every year around 10 %. Should be illegal to charge so much money and then automatic increases whether you are poor or rich. Politicians and corporations love their salary increases and sometimes huge bonuses. Some live month to month.
Deli get is off base. He tries to shift the cost inflation on the franchise who own 90% of the stores. But guess who' S name is on all the signs. It isn't the franchise's name it says McDonalds. He needs to get a handle on costs and turn pricing back where customers will come back. We went to store today to cook our own meals for our grandkids because we are tired of spending $40 A day for happy meals during summer vacation.. No more McDonalds until value comes back.
Not just McDonald's, all of those b.s. corporate franchises. & so-called mom-pop independent's, learning to do same. Ripping off everybody. Correction. Price gauging is what all companies have been doing for 2.5 years.
When McDonald's food gets cold it takes like cardboard.
The cold fries are the worst!
McDs at most large airports have near $18 meals, its been happening for decades.
Airports are kinda outliers though...everything is more expensive at the airport.

You should disregard airports. They are always high price areas because they can be when the customers have little to no options.
