Our economy is struggling with uncertainties, housing issues, foreclosures, global fluctuations, and the pandemic aftermath, causing instability. Rising inflation, sluggish growth, and trade disruptions need urgent attention from all sectors to restore stability and stimulate growth.

The restaurant industry should have banned together and refused to pay the outrageous wage increase.
No, should pay decent wages and serve decent food. Hopefully all those junk food joints will close, or move healthier options.
@@helenpauls1496 Spoken like a true liberal. They should pay whatever it takes to hire and retain workers not a wage that's forced on them. They don't pretend to be a 5 star restaurant, you know what you're getting when you decide to patronize a fast food restaurant.
Or maybe the CEOs could have reduced their own inflated salaries instead of cutting everything but that.
Your little communist comments are laughable.
The CEO's salary couldn't affect these wage increases in the slightest considering you're talking about hundreds of thousands of jobs.
And while some CEOs can be overpaid, trying to compare a job of flipping burgers with managing all aspects of a multinational business is absurd.
Clearly you don't understand anything about economics or money or jobs.
There won't be any choices for food in Commiefornia soon. The same thing driving up food costs in restaurants are driving up costs in supermarkets.
@@helenpauls1496 They do pay decent wages. But paying someone with absolutely NOT JOB SKILLS WHATSOEVER the same amount of money as SKILLED LABOUR is not the answer! If the quality was better and Joe O'Biden wasn't president we'd all be doing a lot better. The problem is that every generation of politician wants to be richer than the one before it. This is why things keep getting more and more expensive and the people are so miserable. Who wants to pay $8.00 for ONE SANDWICH and nothing else? The same as when they are paying $15.00 and hour and we're paying each employee's hourly salary in just ONE MEAL PER PERSON doesn't make any financial sense either. Again - who wants to pay THREE TIMES what a meal should cost because the corporations and government are greedy?
Who cares if these places go down, as long as my mom and pops can survive I'll be just fine.
Expect obesity and cancer rates to drop in the affected areas
No they will just eat potato chips, cakes, donuts, and soda when they waddle into the grocery store instead.
That's the free market for you! If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen.
It isn't a free market when idiot politicians mandate what you have to pay your unskilled workers. That's socialism, pure and simple, and as we see again and again, it never works.
you remember when we used to pack our lunch for work?? Well lunch boxes are still really cheap!
Good. There are too many restaurants in our society.
The survivors need to up there game
Reduce the restaurants reduce drivers on the road.
Guy owns 18 McDonald’s! And we’re supposed to feel sorry for him! I understand the wages are nuts now but look at how many years he’s been living off and getting rich off the backs of those working for next to nothing!
The owner deals the pain the corporate name still gets there cut and smiles
They should only let students and part time workers at fast food like the old days if they can't afford to pay any where near a living wage.
They want paid same as electrician, plumber and any other skilled trade job without the 4 year apprenticeship.
Record profits!
People are fed up working at minimum fast-food joints for slave wages, while the CEOs make billions per quarter. They've slaved themselves out of employees who make the business money and manage it for them. We all saw this coming.
@@Chulitatr no its the cost of living under biden on 8 dollers u could buy 8 double burgers under trump and biden u cannt buy 1 so u would have to make 64 an hour now to live like trump days fact
Wake-up Cali. Time to get rid of Newsome.
agree. Get the shovel.
Not that I'm crying that fast food business will shut down, as the health of Americans is more important to me, but every time the government gets involved in businesses, disaster usually ensues.
The majority of minimum wage earners are high school and college age kids. Why does this demographic need a $20 min wage?
Fast food restaurants should all go out of business.. Maybe people would be healthier..
it's not fast food it's people are too lazy to walk or cycle instead of driving driving does not burn off calories
@@scruf153 it's definitely food.. If people stopped eating fast food.. They would lose weight.. Exercise makes that faster..
It sure wouldn't have any thing to do with what they pay their corporate CEOS.
Can you imagine being at fast food and speaking with a guy in Goa India at beach taking order? I never thought this could happen.
Why do they keep Mentioning California! Isn't the cost of living also high in other States Too?.
This video did say anything about closing stores, at all. Click bait.
