Interesting that Osaka and Hiroshima have their own style of preparing okonomiyaki. We've had the Osaka style and we thought your version looked heaps different. We'll have to go back to Japan and try that version out!

Okonomiyaki is glorious and is available in London at Abeno in Fitzrovia. My favourite, Abeno 2 near Chinatown, has been refitted as a noodle place. Sad.

Hi Carole, my Japanese wife is Gluten Intolerant. Try, Sushi, Sashimi, Yakitori (salted one and not soy sauce one), miso soup, hiyayakko, natto, yakizakana, ochazuke, onigiri, yosenabe, shabu shabu, they are all gluten free. Just make sure you buy a gluten free shoyu (soy sauce) from a supermarket and take a little bit with you (many Japanese supermarkets now stock up on gluten free goods).
They are super busy. Imagine filming every day, editing (which can take forever) as well as travelling. Im sure they read everything and reply as much as they can.
