Huntington is a party town. There's like 30 bars within a square mile. Little Vincents is open until 4am so it's packed with drunk people leaving the bar and the cold slice really hits the spot after a night of drinking.
i live a town over and my grandparents live right by it we walk down into the village and sometimes we get little vinc1ents and its so good
That’s why it’s considered the best. Cuz it’s consumed by mainly drunk people. Real long islanders know it isn’t the best

I'm from Huntington. This is after-bar pizza at it's most quintessential. It's loved for the atmosphere at 2am more so than the pizza itself.

seen 100's of onebites reviews but this is the first one that I've actually been to and is near me and it's kinda surreal. yeah little vincents gets a lot of praise, but a lot of locals see through the "cold cheese gimmick" as well. you should try "Rosa's Pizza" like 2 minutes down the block from Little V's. And Fattusco's about 15 minutes east in Northport on 25A.

i actually don’t think Rosa’s regular slices are that great so I duno why I recommended it for Dave- but their vodka slices are incredible.Think Fattuscos has the best regular slice within that area. Jimmy’s Pizza in Greenlawn used to have excellent regular slices too.

My parents were some of the only white people on the lower East side back in the late 70s. There were junkies everywhere overdosing on the sidewalk, muggers who would cut your throat for a nickel, and perverts jacking off on the subway. Now their old neighborhood is trendy coffee shops and "artisan" vegan taco shops.

I've barely heard of Little Vincent's Huntington location. He should have gone to the one in Ronkonkoma. That place beats most of the NYC slices I've had.

Portnoy loves a very specific type of pizza. Pizza from where he's from. Apizza.
For a typical NY slice, this joint is great because they do it a tad differently. Super thin, cornmeal crunch and the sauce is sweet AND savory.
So many of us love it because it's the same, but different.
@@klabeck1097 I wouldn’t say that both Vinnies locations have the same exact slice they have a slightly different taste and texture. Sauce is never the same every batch even with the same recipe either.
Sorry to read all these reviews.. I absolutely LOVE the Cold cheese slice.. i don't think it's a gimmick.. and even though I live in AZ, we come to NY every other year for the past 10 years and Little V's is one of our mandatory food stops... LOVE it....I realize i'm in the minority here but it's awesome in my opinion.
Little Vincent's good pizza but in NY it is ordinary and not amazing.

im from dallas but my families from huntington station and my aunt works at the salon on the corner and whenever i go to visit i get 4 slices and munch down.

people love this place because its near all the bars there, imagine late night drinking with all your buds and this pizza joint its right down the street open till late at night. you could be drunk so get the cold slice to save yourself from burning your mouth. And they are quick, the line goes from out the door and you can still get your pizza within 10 minutes, thats only saying there is a long line.

Have you done Carnival or Coloseo in Port Jefferson Station? That's always been a hard decision out here. And please I love both places and they have great people, just wanna hear what the Pres thinks.
@C.J. Giordano I talked to Joe at Carnival about it. We came to the conclusion Portnoy doesn't want to cause a rift in 2 successful businesses and drive the crowd elsewhere. And I honestly respect that.

Too many amateurs giving Little Vincent’s props. Yes it’s good, mostly when you’re bombed after leaving the bars or the Paramount. The real deal on that street is Porto Fino. Way better than Little V’s. If you’re back in the area for the PGA championship in May, Porto Fino is the spot. That or DiRaimo’s but it’s a bit off the main strip. Solid option though too.

Branchinellis is number one. Patio Pizza used to be great, not sure if it still is. The original Umbertos is still awesome.

I get little V's after I hit the local (Caumsett) Park and get baked. Get two slices of cold cheese and pepperoni with red crushed pepper and I'm set. THEN, it's a 7.2 maybe 7.4. Pretty good. But overhyped. It was voted Long Islands best pizza. It's not lol. Try Stellas II in Lindenhurst where I work. That's 7.5ish and better.
