Hey Jose, you don’t need to open the file. Just move it into the editor data folder within your documents and let Football Manager do the rest!

I started the game and tried to start a new career but the thing is the fmf files do not appear, do you have any idea why?

@@HoodGamingUK Yep, I'm a Mac user so it is quite different but I pasted the fmf file into "editor data" as well, but like I said, it seems that the game does not recognize it, there is nothing to select then...
You need to go on ‘Finder’ on the top bar, then highlight the ‘Go’ tab. Hold down the option button on the key board and ‘Library’ should drop down on menu. Click on that and then it’s ‘Application Support’, then on ‘Sports Interactive’, then ‘Football Manager 21’ and then drop the database in the ‘Editor Data’ folder and it should work.

Mac’s can be a pain in the ass for this kind of thing. Glad you got it sorted bud!
But this is only transfers, players still have same ratings as in Fm20
