Hi, I have two questions please. 1, where can I get a set of the Dynamic model rear and front mud flaps and 2: if you look on the video, the outer upper edge of the rear wheel arches have a fin design to them that matches the profile of the after market mud flaps. Where do these come from because my evoque Dymanic does not have them standard.
Hi, followed the video instructions, bumper on fine. The problem is that I'm getting the message parking aid unavailable - contact dealer. All I did was unplug and re-plug the loom into the new bumper. The fogs in the bumper are also not working. I've tried a different loom and I have the same issue so don't think it's that. Is there anything else it could be as I'd prefer not spending £££ to fix it. Thanks.
Hi Dominic - sorry to hear of the problems. This sounds like the problem is with the connection - i think there is a different power supply for PDC and the fog. I would check the connector again for corrosion etc.
@@L663 Will do. It was all working fine before I disconnected the loom! If there is a problem with the connector do you know which part would need replacing? The connector on the actual loom looks fine.
@@L663 The bumper loom looks fine (I have two and neither fix the problem) but the clip it goes into seems to not 'click' with it. The connector that's still on the car when you remove the bumper if that makes sense?
@@L663 I wonder if there'd be a design option to relocate the parking sensor to the outer edge of the mudflap perhaps. You won't happen to have them ready for next weekend? (Joke). Thanks for replying. I'll keep an eye out in your site.
Good luck with getting that trim screw out from behind the wheel , impossible to get any screwdriver on there with the wheel on , then there is a few years worth of rust on the thread to overcome . I suspect you drilled it out and replaced it with a new one for the video .
I had the same problem today. Really struggled getting any screw driver / screw bit onto the head Fronts were easy Rears abandoned for today Need to get the wheel off.
The screw behind the wheel, this is a nightmare as it’s completely rusted! I’ve used WD40, been under the car for an hour and it just won’t budge. Next job is taking the wheel off and getting a drill on it or drilling it out and replacing it, not the 30min job I’d hoped it to be.
I can see why you loosen the screw behind the wheel before the video is recorded......there isn't a screwdriver that is small enough to get the screw out as the angle is just too tight with no space at all, you must have drilled the screw out prior to doing the video.........
hi, long shot, but was there anyway of getting to the 1st screw without taking the wheel off?
Hi, I see u sell the piece of trim at the rear that has the 2 parking sensors do u know a there anyway to take it off?
Would it be the same to do on a prestige/pure

We have the mudflaps on our website www.PowerfulUK.com
The fins are part of the standard wheel arch mouldings on our car ? are these not on your car ?

@@dominicmeason2519 Try come contact cleaner and just inspect the pins for damage etc
The bumper loom is not expensive.

Still got a lot of panel gap with these Mudflaps. Very annoying :(
Yes, the aftermarket version is much easier to install!
