Downloaded it again after 10yrs, not knowing what changes were made. I played 2,5h and got lvl50, like... it just takes all the fun out of the game.
This here is the definition of not knowing how precious something is until it is gone. I'm grateful to have experienced this with yal back in the day. Much love fam✌️

Wow, that friend login sound at 0:01 hit me hard! Miss this PQ so much! Looking back, there was so much teamwork involved, especially when players had to branch off in the rooms. It made playing with others so much fun and interesting! The best times were when someone would disconnect before dropping their passes 🤣
To this day I still vividly remember my final ludi pq on my assassin that leveled me up to 51 (I even remember the armor I was wearing during it). The party (which was all random people I met in the pq area) agreed to keep going until I leveled up out of pq range. We had been paying together for about 12-14 hours (we couldn't believe nobody had to leave). Right when the pq music started after a successful click I typed verbatum "This is my last one guys, xx.x%" (I don't remember exactly what the % I typed was but I knew I would lv up at the end of this particular pq). When we finished and I saw that level up flash it was actually one of the saddest moments I can remember in my entire time playing maple. I took a minute to find them a replacement because the party was so amazing (though I checked not long after and most of them werent in the pq area anymore or had logged off), said bye and left planning to take the ship but ended sitting in the ticketing area talking to one of the previous party members who turned up until they had to go, then turned my computer screen off with maple still running and went to sleep (it was about 5:50am). Even using other characters I never did another ludi pq...because I didn't want to ever face that kinda sadness again. If it wasn't for how well our flow of pqs was and the level up agreement that was made (I gained more than once level with this party in that day) I would have went and died enough times to drop my % back down to keep going...

That's still a thing in "Old School MapleStory".. man it's the best server you will find. 960 active users everyday. Best trading system etc. It's patching from v0.01 to 0.07x

When you finally managed to get in the PQ, so you make as many of them in a row as you possibly can before some other party takes it and you need to wait again for hours until its free
2006-2008 WMS checking in. Re-watching these videos, I got so caught up in this one that I was waiting for Dirham to get back to lobby and start increasing his stats while waiting for the next run lol.
Because maplestory became PAY TO WIN after Bigbang. The whole cubing system basically destroyed the essence of training in maplestory. The game simply became easy.

If you mean the 2nd last stage before boss, then it’s just a matter of trying out different possible combinations of 5 numbers until you get it. Each PQ is a different number, when you start trying systematically from 12345 to 56789. If you’re lucky, you can get it real quick!
I really wished that nexon should’ve ported MapleStory and crazy arcade bnb to some consoles and also not counting the ds and 3ds games MapleStory ds and MapleStory girl of destiny because it has a story and different gameplay to it but it doesn’t have the multiplayer function because it’s actually an different game with a story but no online interactivity…….

NurseShane here from Scania back in 2005-2006 days. Level 156 Bishop. I remember dumping over 5k into this game for the best clothing, pets & items. Going to skele’s and having people pay me to level them up with 1 hit “Genesis” on a DBL XP card. Took me nearly a year of grinding 16 hour days on many DBL xp to get 156 and now you can probably do it in a couple weeks I heard? They ruined this game and took the competitiveness out of it. Can’t even KS anymore because they created separate rooms for people to train in? Unbelievable.
I remember grinding this 30 times just for Broken Glasses 🥲 I log into my account from time to time to play just for the nostalgia. Then, I don’t play again for a few years & come back again whenever I want to feel the nostalgia again. ❤️

10:50 In EMS we always did 13674 with the order being 4 -> 2 -> 5 -> 9 -> 8
