Hi Roman, Thank you for an amazing vlog! The fact that you are a personal friend of the Buddha of the antique watch world, Mr Bob Maron, is amazing! His knowledge and experience is amazing! Also appreciate the fact that you personally delivered a watch, to one of your original customers. Shows your class as a person! I look fwd to the day that I buy my first watch from you! (It will obviously be an AP). Onwards and upwards, more power to you, Brother!
Mr Choo this is all hear say. Just like when John Mayer accused mr Maron of selling him fake parts in vintage watches. Then John Mayer dropped the suit. There is no one better in the vintage watch game. You shouldn’t slander someone’s reputation based on hear say sir.
I can see in Roman's eyes the respect he has for Mr Maron and for good reason. I have recently stumbled upon this channel and continue to appreciate what you bring to the watch scene. All the best and cheers from Canada
Roman absolutely brilliant video, thoroughly enjoyable both yourself and Bob showed your expertise wonderfully. Educated and entertained me I TWICE ! Watched the vid, then watched it again ! Thank you.
Bob’s knowledge is incredible, some fascinating pieces. I’ve only just discovered your channel, it’s superb and for me the best watch channel on UA-cam, it puts Hodinkee to shame. What’s criminal, is your subscriber numbers, this channel deserves to be in the hundreds of thousands, and I hope you achieve that in the future. Keep up the great work, Roman!
Absolutely enjoyed this episode ! Thank you Roman. Bob Maron reminds me a lot of Van Simmons (founder of PCGS)! It looks like Bob Maron is as important to horology as Van Simmons is to numismatics. Thanks again Roman.
This was the best, most educational and informational UA-cam I've ever seen. And this is coming from someone who watches at least ten watch UA-cam's a week!
Thank you so much Roman, amazing vlog. It was a blast to see those amazing watches, and to learn some stuff from Mr. Bob Maron. Thanks for sharing all that cool stuff, you are really inspiring.
Wow! Talk about history and character... Bob is an amazing resource and has passion & knowledge that you can’t fake and comes across on camera! Love it. Love the blueberry watch!
One of the best videos Roman! So happy that i stumbled across your channel half a year ago and have been able to follow the evolution of your videos. Keep up the great work! P.s. after your advise on reliable watches for a active lifestyle I ordered a 216570 and will be collecting it next week, can’t wait! D.s.
This is a superb video, great information from both of you. Got into the videos with the fun of the deals, the buying and selling, but this is on a different level. Not just a salesman, you have a real passion for what it is you sell. This was the most informative video I have seen on this channel. Maybe you need a separate channel but I would love to see a lot more of these. Some factory visits and interviews would be brilliant.
My dream vintage watch is the Rolex day date reference 18108. That bark finish and onyx dial is just the most beautiful thing I've ever seen hands down!
Loved that! The new G and the older G! Bob looks like a Player In a Management Position and a bit like the De Niro Bob...... Absolutely great epizod bratushka!!!!
I love this!! Being a long time watch collector I believe I knew a lot. I was taught a lesson today!! Fantastic!! this guy Bob has so much knowledge. Could listen to his advice all day!!
Roman, this is one of your most motivating video you have made in my opinion. You are so different than the other youtubers. Would love to know what watch did you buy at the end. Thank you so much for sharing. Best regards.
Best video yet man. Bob’s speech was great when he closed it out. Very genuine. Does he keep those watches he was speaking about or does he sell them all?
Roman, thanks A LOT for this which I feel have been your best video so far. It really felt like hanging with you on that trip. And Bob seems like a top player on his game. Great idea to close the video with you getting at your home airport hours later. Kudos man. If ever come to Norway or are you interested in this blooming watch market, it will be a pleasure to buy you dinner and have a chat.
@@RomanSharf, yes. Some people like acquiring a watch that has shown signs of wear, scratches and all. For me,I some wear and tear is okay but would not want anything with too much scratches and damage.
Amazing video Roman ! What a wealth of information Bob is. That discussion was fascinating to listen to and so informative. Thank you and Bob for sharing this information.

6:12 man! What a watch! I love the Bakelite. So much better with the darker richer color tones on the bezel then the reference that followed it. IMO
I honestly think this is your best video so far. Very informative and brilliant. Keep up the great work.
