    I found that the touch function works perfectly the first month of use, after a few rains, it won’t work.

    I have the Cheyenne pro’s and just got the dirt 3 so I can’t wait for a warmer day to try them. They’re noticeably more comfortable not even broken in. I find the Cheyenne comfortable now but they took a really long time to break in to get comfortable. I hated them for the first couple months. But after 2 years of heavy usage I am very happy with their durability. A couple open seams from worn out stitching but not in anywhere of concern. I wanted a more comfortable/breathable glove for the summer so I’m excited to put them through their paces. I ride a lot so they’re definitely going to take a good bit of abuse. The only concern I have with them is I can feel the hard Velcro below my palm when secured to my comfort point. Any looser or tighter and I don’t. I can probably take a hair clipper to it and shave off a 1/4 inch of it and be perfectly fine. But I’ll wear them a couple times before I attempt to modify anything incase it’s just a break in issue.

    I know these claim to be dirt gloves but I think using a soft slider on the palms of these gloves was a mistake. It's less of a slider and more of a rubber brake pad. I can't quite imagine what's gonna happen if my hands slide/smack the pavement with these soft "sliders". I feel like it'd just catch my hands on pavement.

    I wish I would've bought multiple pairs of these when they were out

    Do these stretch over time? I bought a large and the fingers are slightly a little long on my ring fingers. I'm considering sizing down one but wasn't sure if they'd stretch over time.

    Hi thanks for the video! A number of people have already asked the difference between the Dirt 3 and Sand 3 and the answer is always knuckle protection.. Having said that, how important IS knuckle protection? If I'm riding street pretty much all the time is it necessary to have a hard knuckle? Will it make a big difference in the event of a fall?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  4 роки тому

      In our experience, yes, having the hard knuckle protection does help for street riding. -DrewZilla

    looking to get a new gloves for spring to fall riding on sport bike - dirt 3, fly 2 or chicane? looking for something comfortable and protective. thanks!

      Well it all depends on how cold spring and fall are and how hot summer gets. The Chicane Gloves offer the most protection but the least ventilation. The Dirt 3 Gloves have the most ventilation, and the Fly 2 and Fly 3 Gloves have almost as much ventilation. All three are comfortable and protective for street riding, so I recommend you base your decision on weather. For hot summers, the Dirt 3 Gloves or the Fly Gloves. If your seasons are milder, maybe the Chicane Gloves. -DrewZilla

    dirt 3 or the sand 3? which one is better?

    • @Kurt013
      @Kurt013 5 років тому +1

      Sand 3 is a little more breathable and the Dirt 3 has a little better protection.
      I used the Dirt 2 and i really like it. Now I bought the Dirt 3 but didn't used it yet.

      They're almost the same. The Dirt 3 Gloves have a little more knuckle protection, while the Sand 3 Gloves have a little more finger protection. -DrewZilla

    Thanks for this video. I'm really interested in these, but I wonder how protective the mesh part is going to be. It looks softer than the pwr mesh that Revit uses on their mesh jackets. Can you tell me what kind of mesh this is and how protective it is?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 років тому

      The 3D mesh is similar to the 3D mesh used in some of their mesh jackets, but it's not quite as durable as their PWR|mesh. Personally, I'd be comfortable with them for summer street riding. However, if you do want more protection, I would direct you back to the Cayenne Pro Gloves. -DrewZilla

      Thanks for the reply, Drew. I had the Cayenne Pro on my radar, but they don't offer touchscreen capabilities. It feels like every Revit gloves has some downside: Either full protextion ,but then no touchscreen fingertipps; Touchscreen capabilities, but not the "perfect" protection and "only" TPR instead of TPU palmsliders.I Have now looked at almost all of them and can't find THE glove in their collection yet. Their designs are very appealing though. Thanks for the reply!

      Hey Bo, I think you might consider the Held Spot Gloves. Full leather, Kevlar reinforcement, perforation for ventilation, hard knuckle, single piece palm and fourth finger reinforcement, padded palm with Superfabric for increased abrasion resistance, and...touchscreen-compatible thumb and index finger! -DrewZilla
