I love hearing the clicking sound when the wheels go over the rails

The clickity clack comes when the train goes over a joint. The joints are used to put two rails together. Rail today comes in pieces that are a quarter mile long and they get welded together to make a smoother ride. No joint is required when you have continuous welded rail.

It’s called an S car, I’m pretty sure it just allows the train sets to have an odd number of cars. They’re pretty common.

David Wu this is just a slower part of a high speed line. If you look up a video of let’s say Princeston Junction, you’ll see some real high speed
