I'd love to see how WG would scramble to figure out how to incorporate the real scantlings of any of these ships' decks into the game. How would it affect the game if Yamato and Iowa suddenly had 225mm and 150mm decks respectively; as they really did historically? Imagine just how violently these ships in-game would just tear themselves apart, with their current paper-thin decks, everytime they fired off even just a single turret . I know, I know! It's not deck armour it's deck plating and the Iowa class had a 38mm thick armoured weather deck plating. The 150mm deck armour is in game but you can't see it on the armour model but if you go to the Iowa's armour model and only highlight the casemate armour section the deck of the lower red armour has the 150mm deck armour under the orange armour section.
rational sense when the ship models are like 10 times bigger than life? this is an arcade game, at most you could ask for better illusion of realism (e.g. seaworthy looking soviet ships).
WG has abandoned all rational sense for years when they've been focused on sucking as much money as possible out of players and doing things that players didn't ask for nor wanted in the first place.

Ships in WOWS are much bigger than they should be, it gets worse when you take the in game distances into account, you end up with silly things like kilometer long battleships.
The problem with Schlieffen's guns is that the 420cm AP shell weighs a mere 1050kg which is similar to a bog standard 16"/406 shell (which typically clock in around 1080kg). For comparison, GK's 406mm shell weighs 1030kg whilst it's 420mm shell weighs 1220kg. As for the belt armor the Schlieffen actually has 380mm belt armor which is what GK has excluding the turtleback
Not entirely knocking the Riga here, but his best and only chance was to run full speed to the NW corner bow in (or NE corner if he'd started earlier). When he turned back in he changed a low chance of winning into 0%.
I think it was a feature of this game that your teammates work against you and likewise the opponents are actually helping you. It a different kind of WoT submission
So, this battleship is just like the new YOH tanks in WoT. Because, excluding the tier 10 in certain circumstances, the tanks CANNOT withstand any focused fire, have terrible penetration, really low alpha damage, and meh health pools. Hmm. Is WG trying to take some kind of step back across the board?
But unlike tanks, ships in WoWs often had special "national flavor" aka Gimnicks that makes ships whose stats looks terrible on paper at least usable. In this case, German BCs get powerful secondaries (basically free damage dealt to whoever get close enough to them), and torps that are as good or even better than German DDs. And there's no ships in WoWs that can withstand prolonged focused fire since Naval HE shells in WoWs is even more busted than HE derp shells in WoT.
That hit on the brandenburg at 9:30 actually would have sunk him had he not just healed. We last see the brandenburg at 12900 health while healing, then, when the shots hit we see the damage counter go from 72k to 85k, adding just short of 13k dmg to the total. That brandenburg got away on I'd say no more than 500 HP. After which he continued healing ofcourse.

Rear Admiral Giggles
Rear Admiral Babbles
The one who contradicts and repeats himself........don't ever change Jingles.
Not entirely knocking the Riga here, but his best and only chance was to run full speed to the NW corner bow in (or NE corner if he'd started earlier). When he turned back in he changed a low chance of winning into 0%.
18:39 “and it’s a very big butt” - Jingles, 2022
And here I was waiting for another WW2 naval recommendation to use my credit on 😔
Jack Reacher was excellent. I hope that for the next season they do Persuader (which was book #7).
Great Video!
I think it was a feature of this game that your teammates work against you and likewise the opponents are actually helping you. It a different kind of WoT submission
I recommend following up with The Search for Reacher series by Diane Capri.
Jingles, some may say, "fair seas and following seas" I always say, "Foul winds are following beans!"
When saying glass cannon, i thought Lyon would be the best candidate for that remark
Or, (sing it with me...) "The Tier 5 Light Cruiser Shooooowwww!!!"
Is anyone else a bit disappointed when Jingles describes a ship as new and doesn't follow it with "all singing, all dancing"?
This ship in a secondary build is deadly
I don’t know how they managed to get those Penguins to Publish all of those books, but damn they must know a thing or two
Morning fellow miners, wishing a nice friday.
This dropped at 2 minutes to midnight here
The Jack Reacher series is like the books.
Read most of the reacher books, same as binge watched the amazon show and think they did a really great job with live action
I found the Jack Reacher books excessively violent. I got that the burned man was psycho after I read about the duct tape. The rest was superfluous
Not quite sure thats what he is saying but
But unlike tanks, ships in WoWs often had special "national flavor" aka Gimnicks that makes ships whose stats looks terrible on paper at least usable.
Thanks for featuring my battle. My wife and I try to watch your World of Warship commentary as much as possible. Your laugh is contagious to her. Good luck on the new place.
Morning Minor Jangles
Haha !!! You finally decided to muffle Akizuki; that young rising star of broadcasting. We knew the Evil Gnome Overlord couldn’t stand the competition!
@FREEAKIZUKI !!!!
Why in the love of salt am i awake at 4 am to watch this.
Good morning lads
at some point I started saying take care, stay safe, and I'll catch you next time. couldn't put my finger on why
The real problem is the fires in this thing haha.
The Riga still f... that up. He should've been in the north-western corner and stayed there.
Do you listen/read fantasy sometimes? If so i need to recommend Brandon Sanderson series stormlight archive. First book is called "the way of kings"
It's basically a T10 Scharnhorst. So same rules apply.
18:23 that parachuting pilot is going to have a really bad time in those waters :/
Jack Reacher is easily my favorite series
