Here's an explanation of the music video:
In G-Dragon's part(he's the first one shown in the music video), he feels alone and depressed. Although he has money and fame, he becomes lonely as he does not have anyone by his side. His part also goes, "I was always alone. It's been a long time since I've forgotten about love."
Taeyang (the one on the roof in the red jacket) was confused and had doubts with his faith. The cross he drew said "Sin Will Find You." His part goes, "I hold out my hand, but no one holds it," just like in GD's case, he was alone and did not know where he should go to ask for help. At the end, he loses his battle against his own self and commits suicide where you see him falling off the building.
T.O.P. on the other hand was shown to be a womanizer. "Love them for one night, and hate then when the morning comes." The two girls were also wearing white, signifying that T.O.P. also views them as objects. When they started to touch him and his things, he got mad and killed them which is why you see him covered in blood while he is walking through the alley. He breaks down as he started to realize what he has done and what he has lost.
Daesung (the one getting beat up) was being bullied which makes him feel like a loser. "At some point I've gotten scared of people's eyes," he becomes afraid of what people would do to him. While looking at the mirror, he decides to fight back although he knows that he was not going to win.
Seungri (white hair) still chases after his ex-girlfriend who already has found someone new. He becomes obsessive, calling her every now and then.
At the end, the five members all gave in to their personal struggles, thus becoming 'Losers" in their own ways.

Mhemey Afrie This is just my interpretation of the music video. Not saying it’s right.
Mhemey Afrie Bigbang members never admitted it was about their personal live. They usually never do that because they want their songs to be relatable. It happened to them and it can also happened to anyone. The story line in the mv was made by someone else according to what they wanted to portray.
It's special to us because we know these happened to them.We see it in them and the story they shared to us. There is also a lot of metaphors in the mv and especially Taeyang's part, i don't think it really about him aside fom he is a devoted christian but we never knows.
From what I remember, GD said he was inspired by the feeling they get after concerts. They have tens of thousands of ppl cheering for them in sold out stadiums, but afterwords they just go back to the hotel alone, feeling like losers.

Like everyone was waiting so long for the bigbang comeback, like the kings are back and then they came with im a loser, was such a shock. Seungri said that all GD relationships dont go well and because of that bigbang has only sad songs.

The characters and their story lines in the video is inspired by their deepest fears in real love.
GD's character is a rich lonely man which is basically him in real life. He's scared of being alone for life because his status has made him unapproachable.
Taeyang's character seems like an anti-social person who leaves a life full of unconventionality and sort of taboo-ish (piercings, tattoos). He's scared of losing his faith and going so further down the wrong path that he has lost his way back home. Hence, the "sin will find you written on the cross".
Seungri's character comes off as a pushover. He just saw his girlfriend cheating on him and had an outburst of anger filled with cowardice because he cannot confront her. In fact, he goes and begs her to come back to which she says, "i don't want you". Seungri's fear is betrayal by a loved one and he has sort of experienced this in real life.
TOP's character seems like a person suffering from OCD(hence every thing in his room is covered with a white cloth). When the woman touches something and threatens the purity of that object, he hurts her. TOP's fear is not being able to live up to the persona of a perfect being even if it means killing his innocence.
Daesung's character is ganged up on by a bunch of ruthless guys because he fell in love with someone he shouldn't have. He goes to confront them again trying to be brave this timebut ends up struggling. Daesung's fear is not being accepted by people, society, being looked down upon, being treated as an outcast.
Basically this is a stronger message coming from Bigbang because they are idols' idols. Always being perceived as perfect beings, they felt it was important to tell us that there are moments they feel like losers too.
And boy, when i tell you every one in korea was singing this song, be it a 5 year old or a 50 year old. Guess we are all losers.
Daesung's part is more to do with his accident scandal from 2011, when he was wrongly accused of killing a man by the knetz, he hid away and had a hard time coming back.

I'd like people to discover their music and find these things out at their own pace. I don't think mentioning painful "scandals" is a good way to introduce people to any group.

You should watch 'Bae Bae' by BIGBANG and 'Zutter' by GD & TOP, both have some very...interesting MVs and lyrics and they do something that's not usual within the industry, just like this song.

Bigbang from this song as their first song as a group since 2012 (3 years where members worked on solo projects) and It's a song about the being at a loser. It's a huge hit because the powerhouse group became more human in the eyes of the public. The mv deals with different issues, some that the members can relate to and some just used creatively and drawing inspiration from their own lives. GD deals with depression, feeling out of place and feeling completely alone. Considering GD is such a huge star in South Korea that even celebs fan out over him, it must get lonely. in the mv, he's successful but alone and depressed. He wonders the streets searching for a way, but gives up in the middle. The noose (fake tat) and the scene with the knife imply he's maybe suicidal. Taeyang carries a cross that got " sin will find you" on it, and he's in a junk yard but still trying to use art to express how lost he feels. Taeyang is very religious, and him in the mv deals with losing faith and joy. "I started to look at the ground more than the sky." Near the end of mv, he falls off the roof and it cuts to show the cross breaking from the fall, implying he committed suicide. Seungri is being rejected and cheated on by his girlfriend. He sees her with someone else and she rejects his call. He has anger issues, unable to express his emotions. He confronts her about it and she dumps him and brushes him off like he's worthless to her. TOP is about one night stand, being selfish and isolated and unable to connect. The stuff in his house is covered up, which can be a metaphor for hiding sides and secrets. He chokes the girl for trying to uncover his stuff. Later he's wondering in his pjs, covered in blood, implying he hurt (or killed her) in a moment of rage and regrets it when he come to his senses. Daesung is about being bullied and beaten. He goes back for revenge and gets beaten again by the gang, who also mess up his scarf which was a precious gift from his love. His story is about being constantly being beaten down, feeling alone and having no one reaching out to help you. the song and mv is about being at your lowest. GD said it was inspired about the crash in emotions and energy after performing for thousands and then being alone in a hotel room feeling empty.
I think Loser and Sober are one of those songs that never get old.
GD debuted when he was 6 years old on a TV show
Yeah he's been in the business most of his life. Started with the tv program Bo Bo Bo at 5 years of age (6 Korean age) then he was in "Little Roora" then he was signed to SM entertainment at around 8 years of age, he was there for 5 years ( they didn't know what to do with him) then Sean from YGE saw him and told YHS who signed him when he was 12 (13 Korean age) and the rest is history 😁

This song it’s actually really personal song about their own struggles.
Gdragon the One in the elevator struggles with loneliness although he has everything fame money everything he struggles with loneliness.
Top the one with the women struggles with perfection like he’s the oldest of the member he struggles with perfection because in his mind he needs to be perfect and not let his members down.
Taeyang the one with red Jacket struggles with faith he fears that he’s gonna lose his faith.
Seungri the one with White hair struggles with love he is the youngest member of the group so he doesn’t get recognized like the other members and he wants to be loved by the VIPs like the other members. And finally
Daesung struggles with fear he had a car Accident some time sometime around 2014 in the accident the other driver died and cost to the a lot of people wore mean to him to the point that they wish him to be dead and that’s why in this music video he gets bullied by those people that hurt him.

Loser is one of my fav songs from Bigbang, along with blue
Their characters each symbolize things in their actual lives. Some of them I know better than others. G-Dragon is very lonely and he struggles with depression in real life. Taeyang was struggling with his faith, he was worried he was looking more to worldly things than trusting in God. He's a devout Christian. Seungri was being cheated on by his girlfriend. Which I believe did happen. TOP is an art fanatic, in the video and real life, his house is basically a museum. So when the women touched the art he couldn't cope and he killed them, but in reality he kills the relationship. It's easier to avoid trusting people and just surround yourself with objects, but in the end it's miserable. Daesung was the one who got beat up, his story in complicated. A few years ago he was driving at night and visibility wasn't good and he ended up running over a man who was laying in the street. I think the man had already been in an accident, anyway the man died, but he wasn't at fault for the death,. I can't remember all the details anymore, but people were terrible and calling him a murderer. So the punches in the video are basically symbolizing all the horrible things people said about him, and showing what it felt like everytime people said these things.
aeshnookie Yeah... Seungri's girlfriend really cheated on him. He shared his story(unwillingly coz Taeyang sort of revealed the story) on Radiostar interview. The girl made him believe that they are in a relationship for a year, she received gifts from him and he even talked to her mother on the phone and exchanged handwritten letters. Basically she made a fool out of him when say she never had anything with him and that she had another boyfriend to GD's friend.
