I bought one of these cues last December b/c I wanted low deflection and wanted to try carbon fiber. I had/have a viking vahalla. I love this cue. Great sound and great feel on the cue ball. Shaft diameter size at 12.5 is good for me coming out of the Vahalla which was 13 or 13.5. I feel like it's made this roughly 400ish fargo amatuer player better and more accurate. Can't beat the value at $319. Mine also came with a 6 inch extension. Along with Karl, I highly recommend

CF Shaft is hollow and tube is not thick. Hard to believe they are better than wood. These Flower CF Shafts, always show light under the shaft, slightly warped*
Some people are afraid of this carbon fiber when they see that its price is low, as this gives an impression that its quality is not high. What do you think of this?
Meanwhile I'm shooting with a 68 dollar Amazon cue and I'm pretty impressed with it. I've had high dollar players cues. Good review my man and 319 is not bad for c.f.
I've been playing with a viking valhalla that was like 200 or something and got a custom made carbon shaft from Al at the legendary q-masters for just over 100 and it plays great. Havent been able to play with anything else, but cheaper cues still play great
I also play out of Qs. I play with a Predator Aspire but recently acquired an Al blackwell custom...thinking about throwing a revo or something on it 😂

So happy found this video, I have an old 5280 cue that I love with a warped shaft that's impossible to find a replacement shaft for, found it recently it has a 3/8 x 8 pin, was considering buying a new cue and giving up on the search (found one shaft but it was pricy with only a one year warranty).. just ordered one of these for two birds with one stone. Warranty on this is also one year but not too worried about warpage with the carbon fiber 👍🏻. Thank you for making this video.
Good choice bro! I had a predator cue before and sold it tbh predator is just a high end brand and expensive especially the reco, but you will still get the same feel on jflowers💪🏻
I have been playing a standard deflection wood cue for many years and I want to go to carbon fiber. I have narrowed my search down to two cues, the CUPPA Technology Pool Cue with Low Deflection Carbon Fiber Shaft and the J.Flowers SABER 1 (Wrapless black) with the Aero Grade Carbon Fiber shaft. Both are about equal in price with the J.Flowers coming in a little more but the CUPPA cue also provides you with a nice semi hard case and a few accessories. I was hoping that someone here could give me some insight as to which would be the better option, if anyone has experience with either of these cues. Thanks a lot!

Oh and btw their jump cue is as good as the cuetec propel jump cue. I've tested one out with a cuetec and a new predator. Honestly think they all 3 perform the same and the j flowers is cheaper. But I haven't found one better than the custom XLR8 jump break cue I have. It also has a bullet proof tip on it. That tip is a game changer. My jump break works as well jumping as a full cue as the cuetec or predator or j flowers with there extensions in. And when I break it down to a 42 inch jump cue I can easily get over a full ball from an inch away. Awesome cue
What about the deflection? Would you mind doing the deflection test that DrDave uses. Would appreciate that brother. You could even do a UA-cam short on it. Thanks 🙏
Karl, Jflowers offers an extension for this cue. Amazon has the same cue that is branded Konnlen. You can get one that is 63" (160cm), with 2 shafts for $370 or so. 1 carbon fiber shaft and 1 regular maple shaft. I`m 6`2", thinking about getting one.
I've had 2nd thoughts about the 63" cue, just too long for regular play. Standard length with an extension would be better for me. Am considering the Jflowers though. Thanks for the review of it.
Konllen gets the returns that have defects, i.e. manufacturer defects, shipping damage. I heard Jflowers is trying to take a legal route to shut them down due to the bad publicity the damaged cues are generating. Konllen is taking advantage of a new market that is still wide open (carbon fiber) by knowingly selling damaged cues.
@@GolfBattleMastery Thank you for clearing that up for me, I thought if there was no difference the Konnlen from Amazon would be the way to go because of free shipping and returns. Crap shoot on what you would get with a Konnlen, a little cosmetic blemish would be ok, but joint issues or warpage not so much. Thanx again PALifeCoach.
I ordered a j flowers brkr no wrap directly from their website and the shaft was warped right out of the box; I rolled it on the table before chalking it and using it for the first time. @@KarlBoyesPoolLife sorry, I should have updated this comment. It is resolved now, they should be sending me a new shaft and a return label for the old one. Thank you anyway, though.
just recieved mine a couple days ago. my first impressions are that this cue is very good value for the price. the fit and finish are excellent as is the balance. ive played about 6 hrs or so with it abd overall have a positive view. there are a couple things i dont like: 1st, it sounds like an aluminum bat on the hit, if not perfectly performed center hit. 2nd, there is a lot of vibration with off center or extreme spin hits. if i keep the tip within one tip of center ball both the sound and vibration are more pleasing. but, for 320 usd, i wont complain.
Did not like the sound on mine too. Maybe it takes getting used to. Things I don't like on the J Flowers: 1. As you screw on the shaft, the shaft is not secure until the last thread. What I mean by this is you can shake the shaft and it would move. This means the joint threads are not precision. 2. The tip seems to be thinner. I ordered 12.5mm Kamui Medium and it looks thin compared to my other 12.5mm wood shaft from Viking Valhalla. However, I measured the tip using caliper and it measured 12.47mm. Not sure why it feels thin. I may have to measure the Valhalla shaft. 3. The weight is concentrated on the butt as the shaft is too light. I upgraded to the Crown Shaft but this is probably generally true for CF shafts. 4. It takes getting used to the sound. 5. The shipping box does not have much protection. Mine came in with holes (UPS guy probably held on it too tight. I put my finger on the hole and I felt the cue. The bubble wrap is only on the end of the box, none in between. The good things: 1. It came with suede soft case. 2. It came with joint protectors. 3. The design looks great. I got the JF20-26F. 4. The price is very good. 5. Customer Service is 2nd to none. I initially ordered the Dante 2 but changed my mine one day after and the email reaction time is very good and they always respond. Thanks, Sydney!
Hi karl, I recently purchased a Cuetec Avid cue. Could you please make a comparison video between that and this Jflowere CF cue? By the way, you're doing a great job sir.
Oh and the butt cap is the way it is because of the extensions they make for their cues. Now I'm not an extension kind of guy. I just don't like the added weight. But they are on par with the predator extensions for predator cues. Very well made, not much weight and when on the cue. Seems like it's just a normal cue. You can't really tell it's something added
I really want a one piece 9 or 9.1mm tip 58" carbon snooker cue but I don't see anyone taking this seriously. I want proper tech used to measure the deflection and something made not just with carbon fibre but also with great attention to the details like wall thickness and the balance point and butt diameter. I also feel it would be easy to have thicker or thinner walls that would make the cue stiffer or more flexible and this might be an option when buying or ordering the cue. I'd like to see some carbon cues made to the exact specifications of some of the pros cues. I know this is possible. If I had the resources I'd start a serious R&D phase of cue development and make some next level sticks that would take the professional snooker and pool game to the next level. Karl I love the way you de-mystify this game we love. Many pros want us to think they perform magic (and it often seems so) but I love your approach . Makes me want to up my very average game. 😎😎😎😎
Well then you are lucky they sent you a cue that exactly weight as ordered. I got one that was completely out of balance very butt heavy and not the weight I ordered. I ordered 19 ounce got 19.2 ounce. But with a butt heavy as 15.6 ounce which is way to much for a 19 ounce cue. So be warned when onderring at this company they will not solve the issue best you can get is get your money back, but then they do not want you anymore as customer. You have to accept the cue as is. If you are a serious player I advise stay away from this. They said to me their butts and shafts all have different weights and get combined to be roughly the weight you order. So If you are lucky the cue has good balance or very bad if you are not.
Hello Karl, which is better, this or cuetec avid, the range price between these two in my place is around $56 and im a beginner but im dedicated to be good at this game, do you think I should go for avid or add another $56 dollar for this j flower. I'd like to hear your thoughts. And sorry for my bad English :)
EBAY HAS CHEAPER CARBON FIBER SHAFT/CUES THAN THIS COMPANY. ALL IMPORTED ANYWAY FROM ONE OF 2 MNFRS. SAVE YOUR MONEY BUY THE 200 SETUP. THIS CUE, FLOWERS, INLAYS ARE STICKERS ANYWAY!!!
The rubber comes out so you can screw the extension in so you don’t have to have it in. I have the same make of cue won it from Neight off the cue it up network. $339 mine
I have a j flowers cue. What you said about the tip was the only real bad thing. But I don't blame j flowers for that . Mori tips have just been inconsistent over the last ten years. Some play as well as any tip on the market. Then you get a bad one that feels spongy and just dead. I personally just switched the tip to a techno dud and had a white pad put on under the tip. It looks like a 1/16 of an inch ferrule. The shaft really seems way more lovely with the techno dud tip. But but I know a guy who put a kamui tip on his and he just loves that combo as well. The tip is an easy change. I've never bought or not bought a cue based on what tip was on it
I can't stand fiber cues!!I I have a very nice Richard Black Cue "Black Baron" bought in 1976 for $750.00..Been all over the world with it!! It is worth a lot of Money!! Made alot of money withi it!!! I just love wood!!!!
Cr4p Karl cause I'm actually owning a cuetec cynergy blue if not ? And I have to buy a cue this gonna be a good option 319€ for a full cue with carbon fiber ? 🤔🤔 Better than "carbon Aliexpress fiber" should be hahahaha good option and good video coming with "cheap" cues for every pocket 💪🏿💪🏿 non all the players can afford a 1000€ cue. Nice video.
It’s funny how Efren Reyes made a cameo saying that this is a good cue (it is!) but I admire how he and other players still stick to the classic wooden shaft!
Hey my man. Lovely video yet again. I really enjoyed this video. I found is fantastic to see the ins and outs of a cheep cue (if that makes sense) love to see the $319 cue 🤫🤣 go up against a expensive cue to see the difference from your side my man. #MuchLove #PoolLife 💛🤝🏻
I bought it and play with for like 4 months really i don’t recommend i sell it and i just got a cheapr cue from viper for like 50$ on amazon it’s plays better now i upgrade for revo 12.4
For a love of me I don't understand why a cue maker would not sell just a shaft. OK, let's say I'm ready to drop $300.00 for entire cue just to get carbon shaft...but no, let's put on a cue this ridiculous join so shaft cannot be used with another butt. I don't understand their business strategy but if they start selling just carbon shaft with all available joints...at least with most popular...I can guaranty you they would substantially increase the sales.
I have tried 4 or 5 times to order a cue from Jflowers and can never get PayPal to work. PayPal is there only way to pay. I called the number in Florida and was told to keep trying. I had a friend try to order and they experienced the same he emailed them and got the same response. I’m starting to believe they are a scam
I think j flowers marketing directive , send everyone with thousands of subscribers a free cue ..have them sell it through a testimonial review . They gave Efren Reyes a cue too ! They shot a home made video of him practicing with it .. l think they put a gun to his head …ha
I bought a jflowers cue costing aroun $800, it came with a hard case and joint protector. Very satisfied with it of a middle entry level

Check out cue listings for his recommendation and he owns a cue worth over 3500 dollars!!! BUY NOW FOLKS!
Thanks for your input buddy much appreciated glad you like the cue 💪🏻
@@KarlBoyesPoolLife you are welcome. How did u manage to miss your flight? 60,000 bucks potentially lost……..
THEY ARE MASS PRODUCED. THEY ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE. SAME MNFR SELLS UNDER DIFFERENT NAMES. THEY HAVE 200 SETUPS ON EBAY, CF SHAFTS, ETC/
@@PostUp_Time sorry you are clueless,if u had purchased a product from them you would be aware of their disclaimer. Sounds like sour grapes to me got their 320 JF-10 and it plays as good as any cue in the 890 $range FACT !!
Did you ever mention the price?
Lol 319😝
Karl I love the way you de-mystify this game we love. Many pros want us to think they perform magic (and it often seems so) but I love your approach . Makes me want to up my very average game. 😎😎😎😎
How much cost it :)
Champion Dragon Pool cue buy or not? (OPEN)
Need to get one don’t I
Just ordered this and used your code! Cheers Karl! Also, how long did you wait for delivery? I live in UK. TIA
Wasn’t long bro
Hello @Arthur G, where can I find the code?
How long was it for delivery? And update on the cue ?
Hello Karl, which is better, this or cuetec avid, the range price between these two in my place is around $56 and im a beginner but im dedicated to be good at this game, do you think I should go for avid or add another $56 dollar for this j flower. I'd like to hear your thoughts.
And sorry for my bad English :)
I would say this one because you get full carbon fibre shaft,
So it’s a way to get into the market for a good price bro 💪🏻💪🏻
This looks like the perfect cue for me 🤩🤩, cheers Karl! Hopefully they're still $319 in June or so when I need one
Why wait?grab it while still possible at this price!-it’s an absolute steal!!!!!!!!????
EBAY HAS CHEAPER CARBON FIBER SHAFT/CUES THAN THIS COMPANY. ALL IMPORTED ANYWAY FROM ONE OF 2 MNFRS. SAVE YOUR MONEY BUY THE 200 SETUP. THIS CUE, FLOWERS, INLAYS ARE STICKERS ANYWAY!!!
Love the videos, but can you maybe speak louder when your far away from camera
Yeah I got the 300 dollar one and it comes in a nice box with joint protectors I love it 👌
Ohh any pictures I’d like to see
Karl FYI: Love your content. However, when recording your videos, please turn up the recording volume. I have my volume at the max level😮
I've never bought or not bought a cue based on what tip was on it
I need this cue. I have a cheap action cue. I just don’t know what I like
That’s a really good looking cue for the price
Definitely 👍🏻
@@Madoggie_35 INLAYS ARE STICKERS. ON MODEL SHOWN. DOES EVERYONE KNOW THAT FACT?
It's a wood shafted coated with carbon fiber
No. 100% carbon fiber
This one is 💯 carbon
I can't stand fiber cues!!I I have a very nice Richard Black Cue "Black Baron" bought in 1976 for $750.00..Been all over the world with it!! It is worth a lot of Money!! Made alot of money withi it!!! I just love wood!!!!
Try the Jflowers carbon or the Predatator. Just tried a P3 and it seems a bit better than woods.
Nice video.
Thanks champ glad you are liking them
It’s funny how Efren Reyes made a cameo saying that this is a good cue (it is!) but I admire how he and other players still stick to the classic wooden shaft!
Lately Efren uses a Predator cue, with wood shaft.
In the old days Efren won his matches using a $10 wooden cue that he borrowed from a friend named Cesar Morales.

How much is the cue ?😆
$319
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
For a love of me I don't understand why a cue maker would not sell just a shaft. OK, let's say I'm ready to drop $300.00 for entire cue just to get carbon shaft...but no, let's put on a cue this ridiculous join so shaft cannot be used with another butt. I don't understand their business strategy but if they start selling just carbon shaft with all available joints...at least with most popular...I can guaranty you they would substantially increase the sales.
Unfortunately I have no answers 🤣🥲
I have tried 4 or 5 times to order a cue from Jflowers and can never get PayPal to work. PayPal is there only way to pay. I called the number in Florida and was told to keep trying. I had a friend try to order and they experienced the same he emailed them and got the same response. I’m starting to believe they are a scam
Seems strange I don’t think they are a scam 👀
I think j flowers marketing directive , send everyone with thousands of subscribers a free cue ..have them sell it through a testimonial review . They gave Efren Reyes a cue too ! They shot a home made video of him practicing with it .. l think they put a gun to his head …ha
Well its amazing!
how tall are you, Karl?
6”5’ I think
Karl is $319 tall 😂
🤣
6’2
JFLOWERS charged me but no cue ships. never respond not anything. only a confirmation email.
🔥🔥🔥
great video. 12:29

Sounds like chinese made. Nah
