Great video man, nice explanation of how they work in detail. I shoulda ordered the twin stick before i did my 6.5 to 1 transfer case gears. Keep up the great videos!
What happened to your channel dawg? I have watched your videos over and over as I have been building my samurai… bout to install a cradle and twin sticks in it and just wanted to let you know I really appreciate your videos! 🤘😎
Good discription. The best is the Rubberhose from Zuk-Offroad. We must very long searching for a reasonably appropriate part... By using the twinsticks you must remove the middle bullet normaly. What ever - i like your Video`s so much - pretty work.
Yeah, I tried to included everything you would need tio do, I also show it in the transfer case rebuild video. I'm just waiting on a part to finish pouring the transfer case back together and get that video out to y'all.
Love the vids Makes a nice change from Jeeps and Land rovers , you present them really well The early Suzuki's are getting a bit rare here in the UK and bring top money for a decent motor Keep up the good work
The Twin Stick does not create a "Double Lowrange" as stated at the 56 second mark. It only allows you to have 2 Low, and a Neutral Lock Out for safer Towng.
Lots of questions: did you have this problem before? Will it shift into 5th with the truck off or on our is it both? If it's when it's off will it go into 5th with/without the clutch? Do you have the original shifter sheath? Did you replace the shifter locator bolt? It's really difficult to just give you straight answer when it comes tio automotive related things. You really have to diagnose the problem by process of elimination and testing. I hope this helps.
Dan Me, I wish I could tell you. I only used it once before taking the motor apart. And they seemed to be fine along with the cradle and Dr Z's transmission mount. Everything was really solid. And the constant locked hubs, I really don't see a problem with that. On the budget build I just leave them locked and just put the truck in 4x4 when it was needed.
I'd be very interested to know how this shifts once installed. Do they shift securely into position and stay there well? Is there any slop/movement in the sticks once shifted into position? Wondering because without the center detent ball, I wonder if the shift forks can move side-to-side a bit as there is slop where the forks run in the ring groove. It would be great to see you demonstrate the shifting and see the sticks while driving for a short distance once everything is back together. I've been considering this for quite a while because I flat tow. Thx for another great video!
The forks are attached to rods that actually slide into a groove that is just just the size of that rod. But I'll do a demo of it once it's in the truck.
From what I can see from the set up of the transfer case, going from 2 low to 2 high should be a problem, but the other way around you would have to be going extremely slow.

Thank, having the transfer case apart I just saw it as a good opportunity to show the shifters operation.
I can't wait to see the transfer case rebuild videos. I'm probably gonna get that twin stick kit soon.
Awesome, the transfer case is only waiting on a single part-time and then I can complete it and bring it to y'all.
The twin stick doesn't allow you to get a "low low" gear it only allows you to run a 2wd low range separately from 4 low and of course a true neutral

Are you able to do front wheel digs with this twin stick setup?
So, how do you get the ball out? Do you have to drop the transfer case for that or can you pull it out from the shifter hole from inside the samurai?
Do you do rebuilds I’m looking to get a tcase that has a 6.5 kit rebuilt I’m having a bad popping sound when in 4wd something’s not right

Thomo 57, thank you for the support. And I will!

Tom Lamb, yes you are correct. I miss spoke
Great video though. Be sure to join "Suzuki Samurai Owners" on Facebook. Would love to have you.
Could you please explain why I can't shift in to 5 gear on my Suzuki Samuriai
after a clutch kit change
Thank you

Nice video 👌👌. Are you running NOS ? Does it help when offroading ?
Also what clutch plates are you using ?
Great video bro very educational
John Dudley I'm glad you enjoyed it. And thank you for the support.
How do you like running the twin stick I'm considering the new hubs from lowrange that are always locked in tires of breaking hubs

@@ELKMotorsports Yea I'm offroad only so shouldnt be an issue really tired of breaking hubs lol
Great video when can you post a video using the twinstck off roading
Well it will have to be once I get back home. I've been working out of town now for the pass 2 months. Hopefully soon.
@@ELKMotorsports ok Bro stay safe
Hey Bro what oil do you used for your tranfer case??
Aloha ! Nice Job !
Great Video
? Why would you need a tween stick
By trial or Rockcrawling-Sessions you can choose LowGear in twowheeldrive ... Very Tricky
Also better for flat towing, but mainly for the lower gear selection.

I've got this setup. It's solid.
Can you shift in and out of 2 low while moving?
