Nice work! Thx for sharing - much appreciated. I need to get the twin stick setup. I just finished installing a SUMO 6.4:1 gear set in my transfer case today and returning a 4.9:1 Trail Gear set that had excessive backlash. Very nice and very happy with the SUMO gears. Now I am looking forward to your head gasket video. Keep up the great work!!
That looks like a great upgrade. I actually need a cradle like that one most likely, my stock mounts came loose and was rattling around last time I went out. The holes are ovaled out on the long skinny bracket, and the stock mounting configuration is in my opinion not very solid.
Pretty Job ! For the Twin-Sticks you can take a rubberplate (0.118 inches thickness) with two long cut`s for the lever way`s so you have close the Body and a dustprotection inside the Rig. This is a temporary solution; but it works fine...
Hey ,i think the zor cradle instructions said if you use the hd brace (panty liner) ,then you leave out the spacer, if so thats why the bolt seemed too short.Im in the process of rebuilding my tc w the trail g. 6.5 n zor cradle install.
I like the looks of that transfer case cradle I ended up going with the low range one which I’m happy with but I am looking to see what your thoughts are on which one is better?
From what I can tell the main difference between the two is how you actually install the intermediate shaft to the transfer case. With mine you have to leave the the transfer case unbolted so you can slide it back to have enough room to get the intermediate shaft in and out of the truck. With the low range one you don't.
great video! I'm not really thrilled with the design of the cradle! why is it not mounted directly to the frame instead of using the wimpy original or modified mounts?
It probably like that to accommodate those without a welder, but great thing about having a welder is that you don't have to settle for wimpy mounts 😁. You're imagination can run wild and figure out your own improved mounting system. You could even add a second mount on the drivers side.
The reason the driver's side bolt was too short is because you're not supposed to use that spacer when you have the pantyliner reinforced long arm mount. The spacer is only used for the thin stock mount.
nice job , do they have a double boot for the twin stick yet , i wonder if a boot for the dana 300 twinstick would work, cant wait for the turbo review
great work i dropped mine off to myron friday getting locker and new drive shafts stop promoting his stuff he cant get to my zuki for 2 weeks thanks lol. he has about 14 in his shop right now busy man.
@@ELKMotorsports nice videos man. Im most likely getting this cradle. You answered my biggest question, which was whether or not this is a bolt in job.
@@ELKMotorsports been watching all ur videos keep it up I live in Hawaii parts are hard to come across been looking for new fenders but ships is crazy do you know where I could get a better deal on some fenders
tugperreira, from my knowledge the muddbuster flares aren't being sold anymore, but fenders and stock flares, possibly some after market, I would call Andrew at Zuks of Hazard ( info is in the description of the video) very good friend and supporter of the Suzuki Samurai community. He has/get everything, and he ships world wide.
Having these fit issues , it sounds like kit you buy " Made in China" , when you have problems aligning holes , screws don't fit , instructions badly translated in to English . If you are going to make a product , make sure you have the right instructions , and the right hardware .
I understand your concern, only real issue with my Truck is it was in an accident, before I owned it, and I can tell the frame is bent. Hell when I built the rear bumper I had to make the drivers side mount 2” higher so that the bumper was lock on the truck. So I’m sure that played a part in poor fit up. Also each of these cradles is hand made in a relatively small shop in Arizona. They most likely have a print to go off of, but I’m not sure about what if any jig Setup that they are using. But that’s what the video’s intent was. I want to use another company’s cradle on the budget build as to give a comparison so in the end the decision is y’all’s.

Looking good Trey. Do they make a shifter boot for the twin sticks.
John Dudley not yet, but ZOR is working on one that will be like the stock one.
