Just cleared the first map including side missions etc & it’s been good, a solid 6-7 game so far. Well worth playing for cheap/gamepass for this opening area alone.
@@NoiseBerryGames What was so bad about it to give it a 4 in its current condition? I still haven’t experienced any major bugs, my main complaint would probably be the story it’s irrelevant.
@@Garybell09 we definitely experienced a few bugs while playing co-op. I think the worst thing for me was just how boring it felt. Nothing ever truly felt satisfying; not the combat, not the story, and not the loot. It's so by-the-numbers that I really do think it's a very bad game.
Love to see another deep review. I still feel bad for Arkane Austin, but this game is pretty bad all things considered. It's just not what it needed to be.
I do wonder how they would have faired if they stayed open because plenty of key staff left during development, I don't think they would have ever been the same no matter what.
It comes from two places, the first is the clumsy handling of the story and major events, the second is the word "fine". Fine implies that it is okay, not good or bad but middle of the road and commits the worst sin a game can. It is boring, a good or bad game can at least be fun and interesting for different reasons but boring is never fun.
@@tstable25 Maybe you right...but maybe we all are bored of games...I havent seen innovative game for years, so in the end of a day, only setting might attract me.
@@hubertmitura2587I am sorry to hear that. I still have fun with games but its a much smaller number than it was in the past. I hope one day, you find a passion, gaming or otherwise that brings you happiness.
@@tstable25 well Im still enyoing games but now I consider 1-2 a year worthy. 10-15 years ago some were at least atractive by visuals, technical innovations. Now vast majority uses UE or other generic engine- look and feel almost the same. Also gameplay only refines old ideas- so only setting lasts.
@@tstable25 Im still playing Cybrpunk (second time), boy its visual and technical masterpiece and for me game of decade. Starfield is also ambitious but not as advanced as Cyberpunk. Still apriciate dare to introduce new universe, not yet again TES. I would also buy Robocop and I, the Inquisitor both due familiar to me setting.
What a truly dreadful game. I can't believe how much of the story you just recapped either went over my head or straight up wasn't even included in the game.
Very good other coop character model animations, quite realistic
Yeah, clearly not their priority.

I think even 6 is very generous for this game honestly. I played the whole thing with Taylor and I'd give it a 4 at most, it really was that bad.

Gamepass is one of the best ways to try games for cheap, though it does have a knock-on effect elsewhere.

Just fine game with unique setting. If no game breaking bugs, why so hate?

I had to google most of it. Because I didn't not gleam half of it when we played the game.
